I just want to say I really appreciate the time you took to organize your video, section it, and stay to the point. Your very respectful of the viewers time and that merits some great respect.
I'm an adc main and I started to play Senna recently and I was searching for a Guide. This is not a Senna adc guide but I got it really helpful with the champion mechanics. Also about the IE, some mobafire guides suggest that you should build IE but in my opinion it sucks completely. With this video actually confirm my thinking. Thanks for the guide, even if I'm not a support senna player, this helps a lot
Really glad you liked it! Honestly the rune page still holds for ADC (though I’d suggest always going alacrity). The biggest difference is builds for ADC, never buy umbral, opt for muramana first item every game, and ofc you get an extra item instead of support item for Guardian Angel (full ad/assassins on enemy team), Deaths Dance (when fed) or Youmuus (when behind) depending on matchup.
@@PixelPocket Muramana I already knew about it but about the Yommu's blade and Deaths dance I didn't! Thanks a lot. I usually build Muramana, Black cleaver, Rfc and then Mortal reminder, the other objects depends on the enemy team but thanks again for your comment, u help a lot!! U gained my sub
I just got into league and my first buy was Lucian and after realizing I should’ve just got senna I bought her next and this guide really helped and was very clear you make the best league guides so thanks
Love your videos! I just got into league, and so far I am really enjoying the depth of the game. :) If only everyone were as friendly as you! You really are helping us newbies out dude! You’ve earned yourself a sub ;)
I can definitely think about a Yuumi guide, I have like 400k points on her back in EUW but I just play her much right now so I’d need to spend a little time reaccquanting myself with the meta.
I actually do this when my team fills with sweepers. From a pro-play/clash perspective you should always have the red trinket, but in situations where we have good map pressure, good vision control AND my team has lots of red trinkets (or even a graves/qiyana that might have their own umbral) then I have found myself going blue as it can be used quite aggressively for getting vision while your team chases up stragglers from a won teamfight etc. That said if the team already has blues/standard trinkets or if it gets back to the late game and you're full build and have no place for control wards you'll want to take sweeper once again. tl;dr is take it aggressively when ahead early with a team that has gone with lots of reds already, but don't take it late game/without control wards.
I do have a Sett guide: ruclips.net/video/eBcZPB53mR0/видео.html . He is by far my favoruite aggro/fun support at the moment but I guess he is kinda meta at this point. I actually quite like Ahri support into very squishy enchanters. It's not meta, and it scales poorly, but by taking electrocute, cheapshot and ghost poro means you can pretty much one shot stuff like namis, sonas, yuumis in lane. Also Lee Sin can be played as a support, though he's quite tough you can be consistently aggro and he is very fun.
Considering the importance of movement speed on Senna, is Celerity (in Sorcery traits) worth it ? Manaflow Band, though half less effective in building up your mana feels reliable enough for the laning phase too.
I find myself wanting Presence of Mind personally, especially in late game teamfights. Also with the rune changes that are coming shortly Presence of Mind is getting a laning phase buff and I expect it to be even better. If you are finding yourself without mana issues you can totally try celerity and manaflow band but it just wouldn't be my pick and I think you'll find yourself in a few more situations where you're oom during a fight.
@@PixelPocket Thank you for this quick, detailed answer. So the movespeed given by Celerity is not enough to go this way hum ? I'm gonna have to play the champ with both and compare right away ^ it's gonna take a while ^ I'll come back to give my experience in that matter later. ^ I could change that according to what the team comp is saying about the flow on the game : midgame sorcery, late/superlategame precision ..
I have tried it, also tried transcendence and manaflow, and I just always love coming back to presence of mind, some direct comparisons will be good, but maybe wait till after the rune changes in 10.23, because presence of mind is being altered (no maximum mana increase anymore). As always, while I do try to be thorough in these videos, your own playstyle may be very different and still succesful so you’re on the right path by truing it out yourself :)
@@PixelPocket Thank you very much again for your answers and this video, really helpfull ^^ Oo that would be a huge difference indeed .. does Senna really needs another piece of infinite scaling though ? xD Well pre-season is there to answer that i guess ^ c ya perhaps on another video ^
In lane, especially into a duo lane with ignite, I find barrier much better, and far more versatile. That is to say that while it may be less effective in certain scenarios, it's useful in far more of them. The prime example, as I stated in the guide, is that barrier doesn't have a range, exhaust has a relatively short range and can be far less effective into long range ADCs. Even when they have a hard engage support, if their ADC can stay at range you often can't get your exhaust off making it effectively useless because you can only use it on the support, which is hardly ideal. Exhaust arguably does scale better (again, situationally dependent) and if they have Samira who thrives on being as close as possible then exhaust may offer more survivability but often I find it's not the case.
I think edge can be useful in certain situations as an ADC but not as support, your gold earnings are lower, you’re less of a priority target and you also have fewer inventory slots. I personally dislike black cleaver on glacial senna, its a core, must build item on grasp senna support or senna toplane, but grasp is not good atm in my opinion!
Is building Runaan’s a bad idea? I’ve been building it either as my 3rd item, or my last item when playing ADC. I usually build Cleaver or Manamune first, and then rapid or runaans right after. It’s been working for me so far, but I don’t know if I’m losing any stats by building runaans instead of another item.
Always build manamune first as ADC. It’s really really strong right now and a must imo. Personally i believe damage is much more important than hurricane. My typical ADC build is the items I’ve suggested here but with Manamune/Muramana instead of umbral glaive and either GA, deaths dance or Youmuu’s for the extra slot because you dont have support item. If it works for you though it’s worth it, it just has a lot of wastes stats. Attack speed isnt so useful on senna being the main on, and the crit being wasted as you will likely have stacked it fully. rapidfire passive is much better imo.
why not go edge of night or yomuus last item if they have all squishies? i have tried this and i love the combination of yomuus and my E during a teamfight
I did suggest youmuu's into a no-armour situation at the end of the build's section. I personally don't like edge of night on support, I'd prefer the higher damage of youmuus or the utility of antiheals.
@@PixelPocket excuse me then, didnt finish the etire video before replying stupid from me. eitherway ive tried the build and it's working out great so far! good video :D
I've been playing Senna top a lot recently for fun. At first I used to like Grasp but with the recent nerfs to Senna's soul count from CS'd minions I think glacial is better. It allows you to chase up the stacks better and scale into the late game . Building Manamune straight away intoa typical ADC build works great for me, Of course this means removing the typical top lane tankiness from your teamcomp which is risky, so if you wish to keep that grasp into Frozen Mallet + Black Cleaver is totally viable, I just think it scales poorly.
@@PixelPocket so I might keep the glacial and start with a manamune and clever then decide whether I d Go lethality or crit depending on the team comp against me?
I personally always go lethality with only crit item I build is rapidfire for the passive. Senna stacks so well with glacial, especially into easy melee matchups like nasus, that you dont need the extra crit chance! Also i’d pnly go cleaver if they have a full tank toplaner who’s building lots of early armour
Grasp senna builds HP items and attempts to play less squishy but less damage, including frozen mallet and black cleaver. It was quite popular for a while (though I've always stuck with Glacial personally) but now it's pretty much considered a trash build. Riot manually updates those, so it'll take a long time before they change it.

Build youmuu’sm this instance! It can replace your last whisper item if the enemy team has no armour or duskblade if they do have armour

Barrier doesn't offer the best survivability, Exhaust does. 300HP shield doesn't protect you as much compared to Exhausting their whole rotation.
