As a Bayern fan, this season I get a feeling like I used to got during 2020 season under Hansi Flick. We are playing so good attacking and pressing wise, and had some major defensive upgrade too. I hope Kompany succeed here.
Gab, what did Bayern Munich ever do to you?! This man is a gargantuan clueless analyst. His analysis and comments are always super-biased. Why can't ESPN sack this guy?! A football analyst of his status should at least try to offer non-biased analysis of games. That's why we tune in, to listen to good informed football analysis; not to disgusting biased nonsensical analysis. What did Bayern Munich or Kompany ever do to him?! This Bayern hate is really getting old!! Jules is really good; the only reason I tune in. He offers real unbiased professional analysis. ESPN, Gab has no place here. And I'm pretty I'm not the only one that feels that way
Im okay with taking 1 loss in 8 games. If we lost the game with a heavily rotated squad to protect core players, that’s fine by me. The football under Flick doesn’t worry me, injuries do
@@chriskar2324 On top of that Gab has a pretty decent CV. Covering football on major news networks for almost 20 years. Also known for creating the podcast 'The Game' which is also pretty acclaimed. So not really random, and not American, which were the two parts of your argument. And his comments were not really against most German pundits on the topic. So... not ok.
He's a Media $lave, of course he wants all teams to go toe-to-toe with sides like Bayern, City, etc. and commit suicide by copying Pep and "playing the right way". Southampton are doing a good job of that and are on their way back to the Championship already.
Let's be honest, even last season when Leverkusen beat Bayern 3-0, they still couldn't control possession against Bayern. It was around like 35 percent. Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to take away anything from them because they were incredible last season, it's just nobody in their right mind thinks that most Leverkusen players are comparable to Bayern's. It's just that those Bayern players were managed so badly under Thomas Tuchel. And when they are managed the right way like under Kompany, Leverkusen can't get anywhere near them.
Tbf he knows how Bayern are playing right now and how his side have started the season he did the right thing to shut up shop and he got a result Shown abit of Rafa and Jose this season which shows he has many strings to his bow in terms of management.
Xabi knew bayern are too powerful to try to attack. 1pt is better than a loss

Bayern is so good this season, I think he HAD to park the bus...

I don't think Alonso chose to play that way but was forced to by Bayern
If kompany parked the bus would you still defend Kompany ?
Nonsense
He’s there to pick points not entertain you
He got what he wanted
They just praised Arsenal for doing the same thing against City.

Someone please pass the message on to Xabi and the Leverkusen team that a random American commentator doesnt want then to play like this, ASAP
Gab is Italian.....
@@denisl9946 interesting accent for an Italian but ok.
*Random commentator. (Covers all nationalities) That ok ?
@@chriskar2324 Leverkusen fan here. Not happy with what I saw, but 99% of pundits in Germany here agree with what Gab said in one way or the other.

@@denisl9946 I stand corrected on all accounts then. Hope you guys can come close to recreating what we saw last season, it was truly impressive
Gab the master tactician should become a manager and show us how it's done

Exactly
Utter nonsense

Gab needs to stop smoking whatever he is.
The way Arsenal park the bus against City??
With one difference
Bayer won the DOUBLE last season 😂😂
And arsenal had 10 men fore over 55 min,
