Lots of Fuji branded films sold in the US, especially the more consumer- and disposable-type film stocks you can buy at big box stores, has been rebranded Kodak stock since COVID started to affect production of Fuji’s film products in Japan. The Fuji 400 you can buy at Walmart just seems to be Kodak Gold 400 in a green box. If it says made in USA, it’s rebranded Kodak.
From what I can see in the video Fuji has a greenish look to it. Lomo looks better to me because it has more contrast, the colors are more accurate (no greenish look on it). But I don't shoot film in case... Not a professional. Is just what I like better.
Really happy ORWO and Harman are coming on the scene with color films, lord knows it's not easy at all... That said, Fuji said that they'd be re-starting film production and have re-opened domestic (japanese) orders for it! SO there is some hope for the future
Brother man, great video, great work. Awesome production. I was intrigued on the title, so I clicked -great job. I’m surprised how strikingly similar the films are, will def have to check out the Lomo. You earned yourself a new subscriber. Keep it up man.

@@KylersFilm indeed! I got some ancient films in the fridge too and hope to shoot with them soon
This was because of Fuji stopping film production temporarily.
