- We are Wildlife Center and this is one of our education crows. She got out in the office and give me some sass when I try to get her back to her enclosure.
she is definitely an American crow, not a raven. ravens are much larger, have throat hackles, different wing shapes etc. so its very easy to tell the difference when you work with them.

I kept a crow for a while. And yes, they do sneeze and they do have eye and nose boogers that I had to clean often 😅

Fun Fact:
Crows are one of the few animals that is specifically mentioned in the Bible. The crow even had an important job.
It's due to their wisdom that they are associated with death. But it isn't death itself as much as the wisdom at the end of the line.

I once rescued a crow and was my best trained friend,when he passed away,I went and buried him where we met,always staring and the rising sun
This made me remember him and the same noises this baby makes brings me joy

Its coat is so shiny and it's feather is so beautiful that I caught some iridescence and it made me think that it was a juvenile Raven but a closer look at the shape of the beak and the throat when it talks clearly show this is an adult Crow!

What beautiful plumage! So glossy, that is a very healthy bird.
Many people in the comments saying this is a raven- it is a definitely not. It is small (though this is hard to tell with videos), has a neat appearance with smooth throat feathers, a relatively small and narrow beak, and overall a gentler appearance especially in the face.

It’s a crow. The beak is far too slim and small to be a raven. Also he is not nearly large enough in size. Maybe look at a book before commenting something like this ;)
Not to mention this is a federally licensed wildlife facility. I’m pretty sure they know what species it is.

I had a crow growing up. His family kicked him out because he had a crooked back. I named him Hamlet. He made the same cool sounds and we were his family. ❤

*MOST INTELLIGENT BIRD*
I feed some wild crows and have been doing so for a couple of years now. I recognize many members of the murder, some by the way they look, some by a particular behavior unique to that crow, but others because they talk A LOT. Snooks is the most talkative of the crows but they all want to converse. Sometimes, even after I have scattered food for them and gone back inside and they have eaten, they call and call until I come out again. At first, I thought it was because the amount was insufficient, but I was wrong. There was still a bit on the ground. They just wanted to socialize. To talk. Maybe to say thanks. Awesome, awesome creatures, very clever and social.
Now i know where they got the sounds for the clicker in last of us 2.
