@masku627 agreed. KH 2 took much longer and was much more difficult. A lot of learning involved in beating the data fights and the lingering will.
Nice job! The game checks that the clock in the menu reads less than 10 hours for this trophy. That clock resets to zero at 100 hours. So you could also giga-brain this and beat Ansem at 101 hours to get the trophy.

I did this by complete accident on my first try through the game
Then I subsequently followed a guide for the fastest way to do the "no changing equipment" run, which also was well within the time limit for the achievement even if I hadn't already got it.
That's how I did it. I spent the extra time level grinding and gathering up equipment for the super bosses while the timer ticked over 100. I then put everything on, utterly destroyed Kurt Zisa, Sephiroth, the tournaments, and Phantom, and then had a hell of a time on Xemnas.
I think the most important "speed tech" to use in this type of run is the legendary cutscene skip technique. I know a number of people that didn't skip cutscenes, which just adds several hours of time to the clock.
just a tip for people going for the speed achievement, the Scooby-doo chase sequence with Donald and Goofy is optional. The requirement to get Leon to fight you is to kill five shadows.
second bit of advice, go Olympus Coliseum first, then Deep Jungle, then Wonderland. Thunder and Jungle king being a longer keyblade than kingdom key makes the Trickmaster fight (Wonderland boss) easier.
You don't even need to fight the Shadows. You can legit just leave the Second District as soon as you get there, then go to the Accessory Shop, then walk right out.
I went on beginner and just brute forced my way through all the boosts at the beginning helped a lot
@@acemrawesome Not true. If you return to Cid without doing anything, he’ll wish you luck and there will be no Leon spawn. To get Leon, you’re required to beat 5 Shadows, trigger all Donald and Goofy segments, or visit all 3 districts. And the 5 Shadows are only for Final Remix. If you’re playing the original, you need to do D&G or enter the 3rd District.
@@wrmsnicket Both original and Final Mix I would just leave the first Shadows after entering the Second District, immediately go back to the First District, go into the Accessory Shop and turn right around and walk out, and the cutscene with Leon would always play. As a kid I didn’t like fighting anything optional because I had no idea how RPGs worked lol, and had no idea about the Donald and Goofy cutscenes until Final Mix years later when I actually tried to attack everything. Last time I played it still worked.
I earned the undefeated, unchanging armor, and speedster trophies in a single run
same. its easy when playing on beginner, fast leveling at the beginning, skipping all cutscenes and atlantica, and only doing the bare minimum in each world. took me just over 10 hours to beat the game.

@@ArynWellspring i think you might go insane attempting a undefeated, unchanging armor, EXP 0 speedrun. you could do it, but it would be super hard. good luck!
I assume so few people got the achievement because it's an achievement you can't realistically get the first time you play the game, so only people that know the series, have played the game, and are willing to hunt specifically for the trophy, end up getting it.
It has to be it like really as long as you know what level to be and have the best keyblade equipped its hard not to get this trophy
I had a bit of a hard time because i was on proud and thats alot more prep but just start on beginner and you could get it on your second playthroigh of the gane ever

Honestly It wasn't that hard for me, though then again I beat the game sometime between 100 and 110 hours (the game resets the clock at 100 hours). I thought the no equipment change trophies would be the rarer one.

When I decided to platinum the game I did this one, the "No Continues" trophy and the "No Equipment Change" trophy all in one go and managed just over six hours, albeit that was with deliberately including a few things like doing the first three tournaments for their prizes (I might've even done the Hades Cup, at least the initial run through as a team) and I didn't skip any worlds. Had I done things more optimally for a speedrun I could've shaved off two and a half hours easily, but after a certain point in the playthrough I realized I was so easily sailing under the required 15 hours that I just made things less stressful and more fun by taking a bit of time to do things.
I think that might've been critical to my success as there were three points during the final boss gauntlet I almost died; seeing as I was doing this on Beginner for this set of trophies that would've been rather embarrassing.
Once I got the main three trophies I used the same game to do the rest of the Platinum run.
The "beat the game under x hours" trophy, was very easy for me to get it.
I choosed the easy mode and played the game one more.
I needed only 2 trophies to get platinum and combined it with "no accessory change".
After a few fails at the Riku battle, because of "don't change", my result was around 11 hours 😊
same, stock up on the +10 of every stat up easy mode gives you from the get go, use the exp boost item, set the questions to begin at dawn, skip optional fights and side quests and use the fact that 2 entire worlds are optional (screw Atlantica) to speed-run, my final time was about 7 hours
I got the speed, no equip change and the no continue achievements in one run by just doing it on Beginner

I decided to go for the Speedster trophy with the Critical trophy in one go. That was my greatest regret and a nightmare. I had to cut leveling, abilities, some worlds, treasures and kept multiple saves just to save five or twenty minutes (there's a reason they gave you 99 save files). After having a nervous breakdown wondering what to do to save even 20 minutes, tried to fight with a limited ability use and a low level with Ansem, I eventually got the trophies in 14 hours with a hour to spare.
I put the game down for a month after that.

@@WheelBite_ While I kept the save file to remind me of it, that was my very first and last speed run I will ever do. I do not recommend doing that with more trophies on the list lol.

I did this while also grabbing the one where you dont change your equipment. It was on beginner but it was a fun run since i couldnt stop to grind or swap any gear.
Back on PS2 I fully beat the game, including side bosses crafting weapons beating the Olympian tournaments. Did everything that you possibly could. In under 24 hours of game time. When the trophies came out for the PS3 I said hell no. Mostly all the trophies in that lineup I've already done before besides the final mix stuff. Straight up played Kingdom hearts 1 for literally years. My parents thought I never beat the game but I had many, many many times.
I did it with multiple hours to spare. It's not too bad, and I'm assuming the reason why so few have it is just because most people don't actually care about achievement hunting and don't want to play the game more than once in such a short time frame.
Sometimes I feel out of touch just like now. I opened the video seeing impossible trophy, I was thinking it was a lingering will or No Heart or the ice cream one from BBS but for it to be this one... That really shocked me.
I'm not that great of a player and to see a trophy like this slowing better players than me is mind blowing honestly.

The trophy for not using a Continue is actually _optimal_ for this run! After all, reloading a save instead doesn't just ignore the Continue, but also undoes all the time taken since the last save point!

I remember going for beating worlds end in 15 hours.
I also went for no continues and base equipment trophies all at the same time.
Most difficult boss for me was the one on the volcano

I got this trophy and the no changing armor trophy in the same run by playing on the easiest difficulty that starts Sora with armor already equipped. Beat the game in just under 5 hours following the tips from the any% speedrun runners
I had a guide on standby for when I went for this achievement and ended up with a time of 5 hours and 45 minutes. Walk in the park really. Even got the Undefeated and Unchanging Armor achievements too.

I was stupid getting this. I decided to combine this achievement, the hardest difficulty achievement, no changing equipment achievement and the no dieing achievement XD I regret everything but proud i actually did it.

I remember doing this and getting the No Continue and No Equipment change at the same time, my luck is I was watching speedrun at the time, so I used some of the technique I saw there that I could pulled off (I'm no speedrunner obviously), I was stressing for this trophy but in the end got it in a little over 5 hours.
Also this was on the PS3 version, back then in order to get the platinum you had to do 3 runs minimal, cause finishing the game on Proud would not unlock the Beginner and Normal one, so took advantage of that and did that trophy on Beginner.
I did this trophy at the same time as the no continues and no equipment change trophies
These were my last 3 and after that it was platinum 😎
I managed to unlock the no continues, under 15 hours, and proud mode all in my first playthrough on the remix. Going to attempt to do it again on the Steam release but I feel I'm even worse at video games now.
If you do it in easy, doing this archivement and the not equip anything one at the same time is a piece of cake
I played the original game when I was a kid, but I legit don't remember the camera being a swivel on the triggers
I got this trophy without changing equipment or using a continue. I had to do it on Beginner Mode, but yea this trophy is very possible to get.
Fun fact about montsro , if you are having trouble with which door to go through, look for the green healing enemy, which will appear at the correct path door. If you're going the wrong way, a red one will show up.

I did this one on proud to get the proud or higher trophy, while also doing the no changing equipment and no continuing. I made it with 10 minutes spare.

For Traverse Town 1, just kill 5 heartless and go to the accessory shop and leave. Leon will fight you right there.
Also, use the green growing doors in monstro. They will lead you the right way.

I think a lot of people don't realize you can just do it on Beginner. Like it's an incredibly easy thing on that setting, but Proud is a pain in the ass without speerunning tricks.
Yeah, I did the speedrun, no continue, and unchanging armor at the same time on Beginner. Unchanging armor makes it more boring. I still love the KH series.
I actually got this trophy on the first playthrough, alongside the unchanging armor trophy and undefeated trophy.
I feel like the PS3 version of KHFM is way harder with the trophy of the gummy ships.
That one was a pain.
The speedrun trophy was so easy I did it in around 5 hours without even trying just rushed and did less grinding
For the 'Scooby Doo chase sequence', you only have to go through two of the three doors that trigger a sighting of Donald and Goofy. I only learned very recently that entering the Dalmatians' House is one of those triggers. I happened upon the progression of triggering the scenes at the Hotel and the Gizmo Shop during my first playthrough, and ever since I'm just made a beeline to those triggers during that part of the game.
And watching speedrun, turns out you only need to kill 3 Shadows and go back to the shop XD
NGL one of the easiest trophy's. There's no limitations on it aside from the 15 hours. Do Beginner mode at Dusk to make the first 40lvls quick. That's all you'll need especially since you'll have an exp item. Knowing the game helps and skipping cutscenes also helps. It seems intimidating but unless you don't really play kingdom hearts or just can't get used to it, it's one of the games easiest to get done.
You can just skip out of Monstro as soon as you land. You can beat the rest of the game without high jump.
Here I was, thinking it was Undefeated or Unchanging Armor. I think I got that one accidentally on my first time through the PS4 version. I probably ignored a lot of content, like the 100 Acre Wood and stuff.

Easy enough to do ao by skipping cutscenes and there are a couple of worlds you can skip entirely and easily sail in under 15 hours with eve a bit of time for level grinding if you're unsure.
Or just wait for the clock to go past 100 hours, after which is resets to zero and then just beat Ansem.
Alright, I confess...Atlantica is one of my favorite levels in KH1

... i got this trophy accidentally. Ive played this game enough times as a kid that I just kinda blitzed it.
The trophy was ez. Just gotta play the game and skip cut scenes. No need to speed run, no need to hurry crazy much. Did it in, what felt like 3 hours or so. (I know it was more, but it's really simple over all and really doesn't take that much time)
The trophies I have trouble with are the Gummi Ship Trophies in KH1 and KH2.
Real challenge is combining Unchanging Armor Speedster and the no continues all in one run
I did a lvl 1 unchanging armor without summons in under 15 :)
continue may add time but load game does not so if you save often you can stop that time loss

This trophy can also be cheated. The max playtime is 99 hours, 99 minutes, and 99 seconds. After that the play timer rolls back over to 0. So long as you beat the final boss before it gets to 15 hours (15:00:00) again the trophy will drop.
I got the speedster trophy cause after 99.99 hours it like, rolled over? So I finished my 100% proud play at like 112 hours and the game thought I did that in 12.
I did have to do the beginner run for a trophy and imposed that time limit for myself 😅

@@WheelBite_ Honesty after replaying the game on critical it's pretty fun and challenging forcing you to use all of your moveset like the previous games. I highly recommend the DLC it's pretty challenging in itself with the data battles and the Yozora fight. Especially if you go into the fights blind. I found myself enjoying the DLC more than kh2.

Getting all the gummi blueprints was impossible on ps3. They fixed the trophy on ps4 on getting most of them

Beating the game in 15 hours really isn't that hard unless you really challenge yourself. Even without skipping cutscenes its fairly easy. But if you really wanna breeze through it just play on beginner since it gives you some nice items upfront to give you a boost.
That trophy isn’t hard to get, just leave your game running for 100 hours an the time will reset to 00:00:00 then beat the final boss and there you go, you got the trophy

Speedster really isn't that hard. I've gotten it several times and still had time to get all Dalmatians for aeroga before the final boss, and I'm not even a speedrunner/I don't know strats

Speedster - basically complete the game in under 15 hours. Quite an easy trophy, not many people on the PS3 version of FM got it.

My first attempt at this trophy I also tried to get the unchanging armor, no continue, and proud player trophies all at once. I did extra worlds and tournaments due to struggling hard with just a kingdom key on proud, and ultimately failed but I at least got to Riku-Ansem by hour 15.
