Great Video all around! Definitely leaving a Like, and it's always nice to see people play kingdom hearts days! very nostalgic game for me! (I Actually have a humble argument for why blizzra is the best magic, which you can find below if you're curious to read. keep in mind i may be a bit bias however, as my experience with the game may vary from other people as I 100%ted the game as well as did plenty of "Pvp" Using the game across the years.) For 358/2 Days, I Would Humbly argue that Blizzra Is the best magic. the Freeze Status effect is Arguably the best status effect as it allows for triple damage on enemies and holds them in place unlike air toss, which may have varying heights/effects on enemies from what i recall. At higher level's it's not actually the worst at damaging multiple enemies as long as their grouped up tightly together, as the AOE in which blizzra can explode seems to grow as you increase it's level, as well as the chances of inducing the status effect. Blizzra increases the damage of all other magic by 3 times via the consistent freeze status effect it can provide in contrast to blizzard or Blizzaga. Furthermore, It actually has one more thing of note; It's Actually a great spell not just for fighting enemies, but for fighting ALLIES, too. If you play days long enough, or ever played it with friends, I'm sure you've done your best to duke it out with your friends in a pseudo pvp fashion. Blizzra is UNDENIABLY the best spell for this as if you land it even once, you will often freeze the enemy, and can then land a thundaga that can EASILY take over half their health (Or ALL of it with certain builds) in one go. Blizzra destroys the hp of Enemies and Allies Alike when used in combination with other magic that wont disrupt the freeze, making it in my opinion the best spell, As It Provides value to all other spells it works well with quintessentially. it is the best source of the freeze status effect, and thus, triple damage in the entire game, as Blizzard Finish or Block may have varying Success In comparison to Blizzra's high freeze chance and spammability. it takes every fairly balenced spell such as fira and thundaga and overtunes it all. In fact, if anyone is interested, I Actually Labbed this stuff out for the mission mode "PVP" you can perform with your friends and found that Blizzra + Thundaga was Unquestionably the best form of damage at the highest level (100.) If anyone's interested, I would be happy to post the google document.
Personally would put Seeker Mine/Regular Mine as the best BBS magic. Imo safety is far more important due to how unpredictable and agressive bosses can be, randomly just breaking out of combos when they feel like it; so having a quick cast, high damaging command is important. Bosses will often aggressively run after you anyways, so all you have to do is just lead the enemy over the mines.
Yea hard agree, seeker mine puts BBS on easy mode. I think on my recent Aqua play through I just used seeker mines only in the Mirage Arena when I was getting the Ultima weapon
thats hilarious, i was just about to comment "i think the best magic in Kingdom Hearts, is the friends we made along the way", just seconds before you say it in the video hahaha
Magnet is mainly for crowd control and it can buff damage to enemies while they’re in it It’s one of those things where if you know the game it’s truly busted
The really cool thing about Days' magic is the way status effects work. Every magic inflicts a status, fire sets enemies on fire (shocker I know), blizzard freezes enemies (again shocking), thunder jolts enemies which makes them take damage when touching other enemies, and aero which causes enemies to fly into the air. Thing is enemies affected by the status effect of the opposite magic either take more damage from that magic, fire magic does more damage to frozen enemies and vise versa and thunder does more damage to enemies knocked into the air, or in the case of using certain aero spells enemies are vacuumed together to do more damage to each other. Pair that with enemies having actual weaknesses to certain elements like plant heartless taking more fire damage and you have a system in place that will facilitate smart magic use based on what enemy you are fighting.
There is _one_ boss affected by Magnet in KH2; the cursed spirit that you fight in Port Royal 2nd in order to recover the Aztec Gold. Speaking of which, one property of Magnet you failed to mention is that it can also pull in orbs scattered around towards the point Magnet was cast; HP, MP, Limit, Munny, Synthesis Material, and even world-specific orbs Morale, Score, Data and Aztec Gold are all affected.
Two technically, Magnet is basically required for Data Xaldin as it stops him in place and forces him to use his sky beams, which is the only way to get jumps in the latter half.
@EmeraldBlade98 damage wasn't the only thing I'm looking for as I stated at the beginning of the video. Water was more versatility being usefull against a single target, hordes, still does great damage and the armor around sora doing damage and supplying small I frames
Reflect as well can be used with combo master to deal massive damage. Reflect into attack makes it so you can attack while the reflect invis frames is still up. This is important because when you use this to bosses who are doing combos on you, you can detonate reflect mutiple times in a singke combo as the reflect into attack technically ends the reflect. 3 detonations of reflect in a single combo is crazy
Lethal frame is literally the funniest ability in the game and the best part is that for some reason, despite it being locked to level 32, from a casual standpoint because of how recom increased exp gain, its COMEDIC how many bosses you chop into giblets
I will say a few points on the KH2 information. Reflect is "neutral" but its still categorized as magic damage same as Explosion. Roxas has a high resistance to magic damage in general, that includes Reflect. Also when it comes to guarding an attack vs Reflecting, there are some circumstances that guard is a much safer option. The amount of I-frames guard gives in general is long enough you have more than enough time to guard again. This is especially previlent in something like the opening String Data Xemnas does, where as you cant reflect through it due to the length of the attack. Otherwise a good video, just thought I would shed some light on it.
Personally for says I really liked the thunder spells but mainly cuz the status effect is super busted, enemies that have a status take double damage and thunder spells status effect is if they touch anything they take damn so it can take massive chunks of health
I mained Firaga during the 'No Keyblade' bit of 358/2. Just ripped out all my Keyblade and attack related stuff (except guard) and spammed the damn thing.
There is a aspect of Aero spells in KH3 you forgot about, similar to Blizzard leaving a ice rail for Flowmotion, Aero leaves an updraft that can be used to avoid attacks via flowmotion as well
I didnt forget about it, just felt no need to mention it since I hard the same opinion with ath as ice trail that it's more of an outside of combat thing
Forgot one spell for KH1. Cure is by far the most strongest it's ever been in any KH game with no cool down with one single MP also leaf bracer. On Proud it's basically mandatory to have it equipped at all times.
I addressed cure in the video on how it's useful in every game. But I also stated I wasn't using anything such as leaf bracer that enhances the spell, only the spell on its own. I appreciate the input but I did address these in the video lol
KH3 I will debate that Fire is better just from the speed of it overall having less of a cast time also getting the items for more stronger fire is much quicker to obtain than the water spell ones. I will also add KH2 spells so about Magnet comment there is one boss that super wrecked by Magnet level 2 and above plus Thunder. Barbosa (Randomizer trick only) but there is other applications where it kinda works generally is Master Genie plus Magnet. But KH2 other strongest magic for second place would be Fire. So Reflect > Fire > Magnet but reason why Fire because too many boss loops and makes some datas so much better lol.
@Superstarearth these are all very valid points. But again I stated only the magic on its own. Combing the magic with other things would not apply to what the video was set out to do.
To be fair (and I know you were making a joke), there's a difference between thinking KH2 is better than KH3 (which is an opinion I agree with) and hating KH3 because it's not KH2 (which I don't agree with, I still like KH3)
I have made Gravity instant kill win KH1, but it does need a lot of MP to do so. As for my choice, they are the same as in the video, except for Exo Spark, I love Triple Blizzaga Pursuit. Lots of damage, stunlock potential, can be used in bosses and procs the best status effect in the game. Magic in Re:Coded is great, most high level magic has use in multiple situations.
i've never actually done a magic run until recently when i just decided "eh, i'll do it" for my second play of KH3. it was a blast. i've since decided to do a KH2 magic run, and never was aware how good Reflect was. i barely used magic except to farm Wisdom form and even then it was just basic Fire/Bliz/Thun and a quick access Cure. i feel like a complete idiot now for all the time i spent to beat Sephiroth with the REGULAR ASS GUARD. my third eye is awakened now and i see i must turn Sephy into paste
I have mastered KH Days, so I can tell what are the best spells in the game and how to use them. Early game, blizzard is the best, always equip it and maxed lv5 lasts long and has more chance to freeze enemies (really useful against Zip Slasher). Mid game fire/fira against bosses and thunder against bosses like Darkfollower (onshotted with one thunder) and other enemies cornered. Late game thundaga or firaga. Situational spells are aero/aerora/aeroga and cure/cura. Useless spell is curaga. When you equip spell panels you mustn't equip all the spells, but use the most powerful with extra throws, and of course at least one elixir, and if you haven't enough elixirs you can always farm receipes from Gigashadows.
I would consider myself a days master. And something I found out, is that during the basic thunder attack, If the enemy you're trying to hit is against a wall of some kind, the thunder will stop at the wall and do a good few health bars even in lower levels. I personally used this in a bunch of fights, but it was most effective on xion(last phase) and riku. When riku does his fire attack, he usually runs away, if he runs into a corner, perfect. if you can dodge past his fire, you can hit him with thunder for a ludicrous amount. It works less on xion because of her overall magic resistance, but it is defibrillator most useful in the last phase.
You should do a best attack video so attack commands that Terra and Riku have get to shine. For the mainline games you could do best ability like flash step for example. And COM is pretty self explanatory. I really hope we see unique ideas for magic like stop, magnet, and reflect in KH4 again.
Honestly, when I emulated Re:Coded, I quite enjoyed it. Despite my PC being old and thus making it run a little bit slow. As you said, the magic and commands in general are great in this niche game that everyone tends to ignore. And not just the new magics they show either. They give us the fun option of creating elemental versions of our attack commands too. It was honestly a surprise how much I enjoyed it when I went through it.
Sonic Blade is equal to Lethal Frame in Chain Of Memories, but I could never get the timing right for Lethal Frame on Replica Riku battle 4 in Sora campaign so I have to use Sonic Blade
Lethal Frame just does way more damage, and the utility of stopping the entire arena just outclasses sonic blade by a country mile imo. Sonic Blade is also an excellent move because it's cheap, but lethal frame is ballonra levels of carry.
@@Jay-mx5ky I tried to use lethal frame on a boss in Chain Of memories but it never worked for me so I just use sonic blade to get through Replicu battle 4, plus Sonic Blade is in every game and gets better with each iteration
blizzard is actually kind of insane in kh1, by jump spamming it you can clear out waves of heartless with ease. in fact, once i finally understood what gravity did and used it on a large body, i realized it did almost exactly the same amount of damage as a single blizzard for way more MP. i struggled with invisibles at end of the world until realizing that blizzaga absolutely melts them. also sidenote, gravity actually does deal a ton of damage to behemoths when they're still at high health, so i feel it's worth it to use a few gravities on behemoths.
I know it's not magic, but Lethal Frame or Trinity Limit from re chain of memories are probably the strongest attacks in the entire series, gameplay wise. Lethal Frame cheeses every boss that's susceptible to stop, and Trinity Limit is just a screen nuke.
Oh yes, Lethal Frame.. I played the whole series on the highest difficulty and Replica Riku made it a living hell at some point. I was so annoyed that I went farming and figured out how strong Lethal Frame is. I basically made a whole deck out of that and added a few elixirs to repeat.. (yes, it took a while for me to farm everything I needed). The fight against Replica Riku was a piece of cake then. Running away as he chases me and once I see him using a card, he receives an instant Lethal Frame. Rinse and repeat. This deck trivialized my whole run then, lol.
I've seen a few videos where magnega was used to interrupt lingering will but that's more people skilled enough to style on him than the most efficient choice
Man, good defensive properties seem to be a running theme for the number titles so far. Kinda unfortunate that Blizzard and Aero’s secondary functions technically violate the established rules of this vid, ‘cuz IMO in the context of a good chunk of KH3’s arenas (wide open spaces without walls) the benefits to movement (instant access to Flowmotion) is kinda huge.
I preferred that magic were on cooldown, instead of costing MP. 'cause then the lower tier magic would have their uses. Like, "Tier 1s" like Fire, Blizzard, Thunder, etc. emphasized on being spammable/rapid fire, and vice versa with "Tier 3s" like Firaga, Blizzaga & Thundaga
I finished Re:Com in proud for the first time playing it all thanks to Lethal Frame, absolute beast of a spell, i got it around atlantica, which i chose to go first in the second ring of cards, since i hate atlantica i wanted it to go first, and from there on, it never left my deck, always had a 6 cards exclusive for lethal frame at the end
Im not saying people arent aloud to dislike KH3 but i wish theyd stop arguing with people who do like it, opinions differ and whats fun is different for everyone, I liked KH3 and thats the base launch version since i havent even played remind, i had a ton of fun with it as did others, so if you dont like it thats valid but dont try to force others to dislike it
My nostalgia says KH1 is the best in the series. KH2's worlds felt a little flat in places. Sure, there was some elevation here and there, but the areas just didn't feel like they did in KH1, like the opening area of Hollow Bastion, one of the best opening areas in the series. Also, there's no Trinity marks or Dalmatians to find. (We could have had something else at least.) At the very least, I know we could have done Trinity Marks again. I kind of liked the Dalmatians side quest because it gave us something else to find in every world and Trinity Marks was somewhat for the same reason.
Stopga really deserved the spot for no1 in kh1. In that game, if you use magic at the end of a combo instead of a combo finisher, then the magic will inherit the combo finishers damage multiplier. Except, in the case of stop, it multiplies the amount of time an enemy is stopped for. You can completely kill bosses without them fighting back at all with it
For me(someone who goes with cool over strictly utility) the only real changes would be: Zero gravity for BBS Overall, I just love that spell so much. The Seeker Blizzard in Days, i forget which level that is. Even if we split KH2 into base and the 3 magic forms, it would still all be Reflect with some minor considering of Final Firaga. But i still wanna honerable mention Wisdom Blizzard, and if wisdoms normal attack counts then that just wins.
I think seeker blizzard is just base blizzard. And as far as the drive form mentions I was only accounting for the spell on its own. So any combos with it like using it with a drive or mixing up spells wouldn't count
I'm noticing a pattern. Defensive spells were basically avoided after 1 and 2, due to being too broken. Seriously lookn at all the best spells, almost all of them have defensive ultility, or are so oppressively op with no defensive magic in sight. Honestly, kh4 better just, let us equip spells to be a defensive option at this rate, like an elemental reflect, or dodge rolls that light people on fire. Also water is best on kh3, have you seen the i frames on it? God damn, that shits basically a free immortality button if you time it right. Which kinda lines up given Ariel's summon is one as well, and it's elements water, i think they did that on purpose. I expect a water block in kh4, like reflect replacing blocks in bbs. I know I basically said it twice, but it really feels like they might as well do it, as it's that or going back to ignoring magic as a defensive tool again, and I'd rather not.
21:32 Personally I view Shotlocks as the natural progression for Magic in Kingdom Hearts. So I would give best Magic to one of the Shotlocks like Ultima Cannon. 25:58 I'm upset Zero Graviza wasn't mentioned.
For KH1 I could see an argument for cure since once you get Leaf Bracer you can chain invincibility frames for as long as your MP allows. I'd still rank Aero better overall though.
In Days, thundera use at the corner with due multiple times if damage. Which let you can use just few hit to destory the secret flying dragon boss heartless.
For union cross its gotta be kh3 kairi (i think there were to many to count) since it heals you, raises defensive and attack by a substantial amount, it maxes out the buffs if you got lucky and got the trait where you can use the medal twice besides that there is no strong attack magic since they release the same medal but for different attributes. Which is why i prefer the medals that do neutral damage
In KH3, when I face a boss, I spam firaga, and when I face a hoar, I go with Thundaga. While the choice of magic in kh3 is nothing special, I'd argue these spells are at their best here. Fire blasts very quickly, blizzard can freeze enemies, and thunder has a wider range... And the fact that you can move while casting them is a great improvement
Hello. Some years ago I had my KH 358/2 LVL1 Crit playthrough and I can confirm that Thundaga is clearly superior than Firaga. For Firaga you need space and time, for Thundaga you just need to click and it just does damage. I killed the Dustflier at LVL 1 by spamming Thundaga and Elixir. That's all I need to know that Thundaga is the best spell in that game.
Yes, I also did a Re:Coded LVL1 Crit playthrough and have something to say about it: Triple Pursuit is broken, let me explain. Fire magic seeks and does damage 1 time Blizzard magic goes straight but goes throgh enemies Both have a version that replicates the other one's movement: Firaga Burst goes straight for a ton of damage and Blizzaga Pursuit HOMES IN ENEMIES FREEZING THEM AND HITTING THEM MULTIPLE TIMES. Now imagine having 3 of those doing damage WHILE you are free to move. Sure Exo Spark is way cooler and does a lot of AOE damage, but Triple Pursuit does more damage over time (during way more time) while not having you stuck on the floor.
Before KH3 released, I hoped we could used all magic from KH1 and 2 and also give an option to change how it functions like we can have it Firaga either be a simple projectile attack like in KH1 or have it as the AoE version of KH2. Im still coping that will be the case for KH4
Why would Order 66 be offensive? Those children dawged Darth Vader and almost killed him. That idiot thought the kids were going to be easy but he’s fighting for his life!
Even with it being a single player game, balance needs to be had. You want players to interact with as much as the content as possible, and making one form of attack/magic being the absolute best ignores this and makes them only spam one thing instead. People have legit skipped out on Devil May Cry 5 because they played on easy and spammed Stinger. Balance exists for a reason
26:55 THANK YOU! I’m glad to hear someone else say the same thing I’ve been thinking. It’s a shame since although KH2FM is an amazing game and one of my fav KH games, its hype and praise and the negativity towards the Osaka games have gotten exaggerated and kinda toxic. Just because the gameplay and battle style is not like KH2 doesn’t make it factually bad game. I feel people who put KH2 on a pedestal made their opinions a fact and the fandom followed suit.
In Days, the difference in damage between magic tiers isn't that much, or it least correlates with how difficult the spell is to land. Personally, I found regular Fire to be the most generally useful magic in most scenarios, as it deals okay damage and is really good at homing in on targets (this is useful because manually aiming things like Fira and Firaga is really difficult on a d-pad). Also in my experience, less bosses resist fire than other types of spells like Thunder or Blizzard (That may be inaccurate, but it felt that way when i played it).
Like, Firaga does a ton of damage compared to Fire, but unless your target stays still (Days has a lot of enemies that fly or are mobile), you're going to miss a lot.
so yea as you said gravity does more damage as you gain the upgraded versions. but it does 50% current hp as damage. so two casts of gravity on the same heartless would only do 75% of their total hp. just to let you know. great video btw
Yeah I actually started to wonder if I goofed on that but I do still believe aero comes out on top a little but gravity is such a close pick. Thank you for the info!!
"Magic is pretty tame in KH3" My Magic-ignoring ass when I got into KH3, because hydromancy is cool: Water and water water, water, and water-water~ Seriously, it's like, the only spell I actually like in the series, kh2 thunder/fire during master/final form respectively being the only instance of that not being true.
"Thats right, release order Cause it's best order" He says as he, Skips Chain of memories for Re:Chain, which are different games with entirely different magic properties.
Something yall need to understand, kh 3 isn’t hated cause it’s not 2, it’s hated because they waste our time the whole game until the last two hours and just is a shitty trilogy ending. Remind helps it out but still. Hate people using the excuse that we hate 3 only because it wasn’t 2.
Trust me I understand there are genuine critiques against kh3 and even some based very well. But there's genuinely a section of the community that don't like KH3 and can only give reasons by comparing it to KH2. That was just more of a joke at those people
I mean, it's a bad trilogy ending because... it's not an ending. It was never supposed to be one. It resolved a lot of things set up by previous games, sure, but it needed to set up the future games as well. Without the setup KH3 did, there is no basis for 4 and beyond. A criticism for KH3 not being a good ending is just as made up as the idea that KH3 haters just hate it because it's not KH2.
It ends the dark seeker saga. Don’t tell me it’s a made up reason when it isn’t. If KH3 didn’t waste so much time settling up the future instead of having a coherent story in its own game. KH3 has a bad ending besides all the other nonsense plot lines that are dropped in the game
i thought everybody knew water could kinda act as reflect i found it out immediately doesnt mean i ever used it twas too busy spamming summons to not die
I don't know if Judgment Triad is "Magic" in Re:coded but it is definitely the strongest attack in the game. High damage with mild homing properties and limited AOE like Gravity in KH1, so enemies nearby can be caught in it. It eats through bosses and can be chucked at random enemies to chew through most of them. The only drawback is the recharge time being fairly long.
13:43 in KH2 light and neutral is the same dame type. Explosion and Reflect share the same 'element'. Not only that but Im pretty sure no enemy in the entire game resists light. The only thing that comes close to resisting light is Terras Combo Armour and that mechanic works the same way against everything. Fun fact: Magnet (and Magnet Burst)Does Dark damage. The same damage Antiforms attacks do.
kh1: definitely aeroga. i also like to use thunder spells at times for quick kills, especially when youre at the level of being super strong n its very helpful when it comes to time limit coliseum battles and farming random items when using bambi recom: definitely love lethal frame, but i also love tornado...may be slow, but it instantly kills smaller enemies and stuns larger ones n bosses n does big damage.... (plus i have a thing for storms) kh2: fire for surrounding ring of fire attacks, thunder for range, reflect for defense, n magnet just bring enemies together n finish them off with thunder spells or finishing attacks like explosion... so kh2 had more useful spells comparing to 1 IMO, especially when used in combos. but i agree with reflect being the best one since it can be use for defense n offense reasons, n that the 3rd tier handles crowds pretty well 358/2 days: never played it so i cant answer that one BBS: ven: yeah faith is the best thus far... aqua: definitely seeker mine n raging storm, but i also like using the triple firaga and blizzaga with her as well. might not be so useful against crowds but definitely bosses. terra: personally dark firaga is probably one of the worse spells out of all the other 3 personal spells of terras... all 3 of them together, i like to combo zero gravity and thunder together for crowd control.... the general mine spells are just extra to me but still useful recoded: never played it so i cant answer that one too ddd: pretty much everything that you already mentioned... however spark is my least favorite cuz despite it being powerful surrounding spell, sora is vulnerable and spark can be canceled which i find very annoying, in addition to the fact that sora took too long to cast it..... still like to combo zero gravity and thunder together lol kh3: this is a tough one since each spells are unique in its own ways, especially when u have them reached at 4th tier. although i find myself use fire the least out of all the other 5 in this game. only time i actually do find it quite useful is spamming the tier 1 version on dark inferno. i still use thunder the most personally... its just one of my favorite spells throughout the series.
Before wathcing video: "If Reflect isn't KH2's best spell I'm gonna be livid."
I was not disappointed :)
There is no other answer let's be honest😅
Fuck the haters
i never used reflect in kh2. I just used thunder.
Funny enough, it was buffed in Final Mix, if we're talking about vanilla, it was actually decently balanced. No clue why they did that.
My favourite part about Water in KH3 is that it helps you against shadows when they melt into the floor
My favorite part about it is that it generates little swirls of water around you that damage nearby enemies
What?Really?!?!? Wtf I didn’t know that!🥲
as someone who gets annoyed by how often shadows can end up hiding in the floor dragging out fights (especially in kh1) that's good to know :)

I swear everyone unanimously agreed that fire is the best in kh3
Because it is😊
@@jasonvernish7366 yeah that’s why I don’t get what he’s talking about with his magic picks
Regardless what a majority of people may consider, as I stated this list is my opinion. Everyone's opinions are gonna be different
@@ogskraxx6678 why water over fire? Since fire has a really low cost and does massive damage?
Inside the exo spark is indeed the keyblade
I realized this after editing as well🤣🤣suprised it took this long for someone to notice
I used Reflect in KH2 religiously. They should totally bring that one back…………..no particular reason.
13:51 actually, reflect does light-based damage. That’s why it’s not the best to use against Roxas
I did say the best of my knowledge lol cause I know people spam it on him still. I wasn't 100% sure
25:48 "Dark attacks are much cooler for obvious reasons" I completely agree
Personally for says I really liked the thunder spells but mainly cuz the status effect is super busted, enemies that have a status take double damage and thunder spells status effect is if they touch anything they take damn so it can take massive chunks of health
I mained Firaga during the 'No Keyblade' bit of 358/2. Just ripped out all my Keyblade and attack related stuff (except guard) and spammed the damn thing.
I like how you censore yourself saying "fuck" but open up with a hiroshima joke. Wild
Combing the magic with other things would not apply to what the video was set out to do.
did you even watch the video ?
In KH1 you actual felt like a magician and could throw spells everywhere. Magic wise KH2 and up you are way weaker magic wise.
Kingdom hearts 2 magnet plus fire was the best feeling
Agreed and using it to grind with wisdom and master, and fibal awww the hours saved
You see, unlike most people, I'm not blinded by nostalgia, and I STILL think KH2 is a far better game than KH3.

Well not eveyone thinks that. You should respect other people's opinion
@@rosies69I was making a joke because Scraxx was, too.

This would indeed be really fun. The issue would really be the numbered titles but they still have stuff like Ars Arcanum
16:00 Looks like Key played Days so much he began to understand Vanitas 🗿
Shoutout to Curaja in Kh3 its pretty rare but its a free heal, since grand magic doesn't consume magic.
I always forget this exists lol
It doesn’t have I-frames tho…
... Wait, CURAJA!? I spent hundread of hours playing this game but I'm sure I NEVER got this spell!
@@SoraKingdom3 fairly sure you can get Curaja from full course bonuses and maybe a Keyblade ability, not sure on that one tho
@@SoraKingdom3 That's because it's Cura*za* in 3.
Donal out here celebrating every round like he was the difference maker in kh1😂😂😂
Blizzaga in rechains is pretty great tbh as the battle map limits how much enemies can dodge and there's only one enemy i remember being immnune
blizzard is actually kind of insane in kh1, by jump spamming it you can clear out waves of heartless with ease. in fact, once i finally understood what gravity did and used it on a large body, i realized it did almost exactly the same amount of damage as a single blizzard for way more MP. i struggled with invisibles at end of the world until realizing that blizzaga absolutely melts them.
also sidenote, gravity actually does deal a ton of damage to behemoths when they're still at high health, so i feel it's worth it to use a few gravities on behemoths.
Water, huh?
Despite stealing all of his power, no wonder Yozora chose to use it.
22:49 POV Sora using his keyblade to use that magic
I agreed that dispels in each and every one of the KH Saga is powerful and unique specially part three😊😊😊
I know it's not magic, but Lethal Frame or Trinity Limit from re chain of memories are probably the strongest attacks in the entire series, gameplay wise.
Kinda unfortunate that Blizzard and Aero’s secondary functions technically violate the established rules of this vid, ‘cuz IMO in the context of a good chunk of KH3’s arenas (wide open spaces without walls) the benefits to movement (instant access to Flowmotion) is kinda huge.
this video got me hoping for a sora battle royale at some point. which sora would win in if completely solo vs other soras
Damn it, you making me want to play days now to finally beat it
I finished Re:Com in proud for the first time playing it all thanks to Lethal Frame, absolute beast of a spell, i got it around atlantica, which i chose to go first in the second ring of cards, since i hate atlantica i wanted it to go first, and from there on, it never left my deck, always had a 6 cards exclusive for lethal frame at the end
Meteor Crash is underrated for Terra, as it moves him above most attack patterns while doing great damage.
I like it a lot but it is classified as am attack command instead of magic. I'll consider it whenever I get around to the best attacks video lol
If reflect wasn't the one for KH2 I would have opened the door to darkness😂
I like KH2 more for the overall story experience. I enjoy both KH2 and 3 equally gameplay wise.
Stopga really deserved the spot for no1 in kh1. In that game, if you use magic at the end of a combo instead of a combo finisher, then the magic will inherit the combo finishers damage multiplier. Except, in the case of stop, it multiplies the amount of time an enemy is stopped for. You can completely kill bosses without them fighting back at all with it
The one that made Donald almost die...he only cast it once....
Aeroga makes Ice Titan harder as the projectiles become larger and goes through Aeroga

Btw amazing vid, kept me entertained all the way through!
Thank you so much!!!
Magnet actually works well on Data Xaldin in KH2FM. Can use it to stop him when he starts teleporting
For me(someone who goes with cool over strictly utility) the only real changes would be:
Zero gravity for BBS Overall, I just love that spell so much.
I have pretty much been a wizard in KH so magic is pretty much my thing
thundaja is so good in 0.2 that can also kill your fps
🤣🤣🤣
I think it is really funny how in ddd they made baloonRA be ridiculously op, and then banloonGA be a complete joke
It looks like they made Firaga Burst a homing attack in DDD as well.
Balloonra may have been the "best" spell in DDD, but Mega Flare was easily the most awesome. That thing was like a nuke going off in your face.
It only took me till today to realize this...but KH: 358/2 Days just uses the fucking Spell Slot system from Dungeons and Dragons.
I loved feeling like a demigod with graviga and thundaga in kh1 lol And I'm still mad that they changed Aeroga in later games
Honestly magnega is terra's best magic as it pulls enemies into his attack range for his specialty
Yeah but they're shot locks not magic commands so it doesn't fit the criteria. Zero Graviza is good but I would still say there are better options
Yes, I also did a Re:Coded LVL1 Crit playthrough and have something to say about it:
Triple Pursuit is broken, let me explain.
Fire magic seeks and does damage 1 time
Blizzard magic goes straight but goes throgh enemies
Both have a version that replicates the other one's movement: Firaga Burst goes straight for a ton of damage and Blizzaga Pursuit HOMES IN ENEMIES FREEZING THEM AND HITTING THEM MULTIPLE TIMES.
Now combine them all in one game.
Thats all the magic you get tho.
I mean, if you have Ballonra and Refelga, do you really need much else for magic?
Even with it being a single player game, balance needs to be had. You want players to interact with as much as the content as possible, and making one form of attack/magic being the absolute best ignores this and makes them only spam one thing instead. People have legit skipped out on Devil May Cry 5 because they played on easy and spammed Stinger.
Balance exists for a reason
Solid opinion, I do agree something too busted can make the game feel worse
Barbossa and the hyenas. Could be pulled Among others
Like, Firaga does a ton of damage compared to Fire, but unless your target stays still (Days has a lot of enemies that fly or are mobile), you're going to miss a lot.
with the mickey clasp and that fire fire fire fire... firaga x infinity combo in kh3 (if you know, you know) fire is the best in kh3 imo

If I did COM I would've put it there, I don't have a good way to play that game and get footage sadly
That was just more of a joke at those people
Okay that makes a lot of sense. I did enjoy the video as well
I mean, it's a bad trilogy ending because... it's not an ending.
@@vsptylore3639 well said
It ends the dark seeker saga. Don’t tell me it’s a made up reason when it isn’t. If KH3 didn’t waste so much time settling up the future instead of having a coherent story in its own game. KH3 has a bad ending besides all the other nonsense plot lines that are dropped in the game

@@theinsanegamer1024 it is an attack command unfortunately but I have considered it for the inevitable best attack video

Not only that but Im pretty sure no enemy in the entire game resists light.
The only thing that comes close to resisting light is Terras Combo Armour and that mechanic works the same way against everything.

Hilariously first form (as in Sora's solo fight against him) Xemnas can get sucked into KH2 magnet.
For Days I typically carried Thundaga, Cura, Fire, and Blizzard. I wanted to be ready for long fights.
kh1: definitely aeroga. i also like to use thunder spells at times for quick kills, especially when youre at the level of being super strong n its very helpful when it comes to time limit coliseum battles and farming random items when using bambi
recom: definitely love lethal frame, but i also love tornado...may be slow, but it instantly kills smaller enemies and stuns larger ones n bosses n does big damage.... (plus i have a thing for storms)
kh2: fire for surrounding ring of fire attacks, thunder for range, reflect for defense, n magnet just bring enemies together n finish them off with thunder spells or finishing attacks like explosion... so kh2 had more useful spells comparing to 1 IMO, especially when used in combos. but i agree with reflect being the best one since it can be use for defense n offense reasons, n that the 3rd tier handles crowds pretty well
358/2 days: never played it so i cant answer that one
BBS: ven: yeah faith is the best thus far... aqua: definitely seeker mine n raging storm, but i also like using the triple firaga and blizzaga with her as well. might not be so useful against crowds but definitely bosses. terra: personally dark firaga is probably one of the worse spells out of all the other 3 personal spells of terras... all 3 of them together, i like to combo zero gravity and thunder together for crowd control.... the general mine spells are just extra to me but still useful
recoded: never played it so i cant answer that one too
ddd: pretty much everything that you already mentioned... however spark is my least favorite cuz despite it being powerful surrounding spell, sora is vulnerable and spark can be canceled which i find very annoying, in addition to the fact that sora took too long to cast it..... still like to combo zero gravity and thunder together lol
kh3: this is a tough one since each spells are unique in its own ways, especially when u have them reached at 4th tier. although i find myself use fire the least out of all the other 5 in this game. only time i actually do find it quite useful is spamming the tier 1 version on dark inferno. i still use thunder the most personally... its just one of my favorite spells throughout the series.
