Funnily enough out of all 3 on critical mode Terra is my strongest character. I only really die to masters of the arena and terranort. If I can evade and heal enough to spam shot lock I win

Theres no bigger indication that cure is the best spell in kh1 than you having to make a rule to specifically nerf cure just so you could say a different magic 😂😂

I hate Stop in KH1! Donald ends up casting it on low-level enemies that I could otherwise one-shot, forcing an encounter to last a LOT longer.

Great video! One correction about his revenge counter, though. Sephiroth actually has two different counters. One counter is set to 4 staggers in a row, and the second is set to 7 staggers total. If you stagger him 4 times in a row, he'll teleport/attack; but if you don't stagger him 4 times in a row and let him break out, his second counter will remain at how many times you staggered him until it reaches 7 or until you stagger him 4 times in a row, whichever comes first.

Chain of memories was way better on GBA. It really feels like it was made for 2D and not 3D

Birth by sleep is a good game but the 100% three times is not fun. Still, at the end I was so efficient I finished aqua in 15 hours. Ventus 19, Terra 29.

For pro codes there is enough points from xehanort, dark inferno, data fights, and yozora to get it even if you just unlocked pro codes from defeating yozora. However that does mean you have way less wiggle room for error on the superbosses of the game. I highly recommend doing the challenge on beginner mode froma fresh save file (its still very hard on beginner mode because you still get like 3 shot from many bosses with all codes on) and try to beat as many of the non repeatable bosses with all pro codes on as you can. Then even if you do data org with half the pro codes on you can generally reach A rank by Xion. For example for Data Saix turn off the "No Links" code to be able to use the Ariel cheese for his fight and youll still get most of his points

BBS mysterious figure with Terra was the worst thing ever. Not having I frames on his dodge was awful. I'm glad I did him first because if I had already put 90 hours into the game to get to that, I don't think I could finish it.

Oh yes, Lethal Frame.. I played the whole series on the highest difficulty and Replica Riku made it a living hell at some point. I was so annoyed that I went farming and figured out how strong Lethal Frame is. I basically made a whole deck out of that and added a few elixirs to repeat.. (yes, it took a while for me to farm everything I needed). The fight against Replica Riku was a piece of cake then. Running away as he chases me and once I see him using a card, he receives an instant Lethal Frame. Rinse and repeat. This deck trivialized my whole run then, lol.

5:56 Some actual confirmation is on this for anyone wondering. Riku is actually the one who opened the door to darkness. During rikus story in chain of memories Riku does encounter zexion, Zexion is classified by xemnas as Mr liar pants though so his word is shifty but he says to Riku “you were the one who destroyed your home!” And Riku doesn’t deny this. Riku also states: the door. Is open. The keyblade also is riku’s at this current time. Ansem/billyzane/xehanort/xehanorts heartless was not able to open the door because he’s more just a walking corpse at the time being but ansem looks like terra kinda loosely and terra is rikus dad. Riku was able to be tricked into causing literally the apocalypse because his adoptive and very absent dad literally just told him: hey man go use the keyblade to open up that ominous door it’ll let you go to Disney land

y'all pretty harsh on the data characters. they are a bit weird to rank (different planes of existence) so I guess it comes down to whether they are transported to the physical realm or if the organization goes to the data world. Tron is basically a local god inside his computer so context is everthing. definitely a lot of "probably really dang strong characters" but we haven't seen enough in-game feats to verify. I do wonder how far Merlin and Fairy Godmother would scale if they had to go into combat. Also, there any particular reason Axel and Xion was in the org list, but Roxas got ranked? just feels kinda funny seeing them deparate.

Sora literally has help almost everytime. Lost to Xehanort and without Donald and Goofy would have lost. No one SOLOS the whole organization that's why they all did team group battles

I would say Data-Sora should be higher since he was able to to win against a dual wielding Roxas, even if it wasn't a match to death, not to mention he is also based on Chain of Memories Sora too and not only KH1 Sora, and in CoM he was able to win Org.XIII Level fights, and if people can excuse Aqua's lost against Vanitas due to state of mind so CoM Sora should be excused too in a way, making Data-Sora a worthy fighter.

Hades/HErcules also a literal god, what about zeus and all the greek gods also?

I really think from main characters, the only valid candidates for God tier are Sora (obviously)as well as Aqua and Mickey due to their status as masters, immense magical prowess, experience and skills. I don't really count Aqua's performance in KH3 since she never got her chance to rest/recover + all the emotional distress she was in (PTSD from her time as Anti-Aqua). Girl was the only pupil of Eraqus that Xehanort didn't dare to approach/manipulate, she thrashed Vanitas twice, three times if you count Venitas with the X-blade. FOLDED Terranort with the Guardian. Endured the innermost depths of the RoD and fought countless hoardes of heartless (+ she seems to be very proficient with hand to hand combat as seen against Ansem)

Now that I thought about it, I think Master of Masters should be near the top of "Literal God/No Diff", on the grounds that since he can see the future through his eye (which is inside Master Xehanort's keyblade mind you), he can see how the battle turns out and plan accordingly.

I will say Normal Aqua has a major solid chance. Any character that can withstand any attack from any org member. Having tons of tools to recover her HP like having a block that legit heals you which is insane

I say this completely ready to eat my words in a week, as someone who just finished the grind for 99 twice in chain of memories, about to open birth by sleep for the first time ever; I'll fucking take "ohh, oh no, you have to complete the objectives with each character" any day over "good job doing everything there was to do in the game, now play for MORE THAN THE TOTAL TIME YOU HAVE PLAYED whacking the SAME THREE SETS OF ENEMIES A THOUSAND TIMES just for a popup to say you leveled up."

I just wanted to add one thing it isnt a dual at the land of dragons if you want to you can actually not fight him at all and just fight the heartless he doesnt ever pursue you and the only reason you get it hit is if you hit him or you get in range of his aeo attacks
