I made this on Ekadasi and it came out very well. I add extra water and ghee into it and knead well. I love it and my husband also loves it! Thank you so much for your time and effort to make this video. 😇❤️

That was an excellent, most excellent tip, to steam to reheat the rotis. So clever, so correct! Thank you!

Hi, I asked my dad to buy amaranth flour but instead he bought a packet of amaranth and it looks like the seeds- they're really tiny like the size of poppy seeds/khaskhaas. Any idea what I can do with them? Can I simply put them in the grinder to make into a flour for this recipe or is the flour making process more complex than that?

Amaranth porridge can be made with amaranth seeds. It has a nutty taste to it. Popped amaranth can be made to ladoos, porridge. Add a tablespoon of amaranth seeds to a hot pan and pop them.. To blend to a powder try dry roasting the seeds in medium flame for 5 minutes and blend to a very fine powder.

Amaranth seeds are from leafy greens in various colours
We Gardner’s grow them n consume both the leaves n seeds after powdering them

Only if over cooked, only way to cook and save hundred percent nutrients is in earthenware pot slow cooking on wood/charcoal fire.
