    Those worked nicely. Unfortunately, I have to grind pearl barley to make the flour, but other than the texture mode - this was a really nice wheat alternative. (UK) [I might cut back on the sugar as it was a bit too sweet]

    There is not even a single verse in Ayurved about tomato. If you say this, share your reference. Tomato is an un-necessary man made creation. It can never be cooked or digested properly. Its peels and seeds remain intact always.

    Maam we also cook like this , but keep draining the starch when it boils and add more water , and keep boiling till starch amount is very less (very little scum) , then finally drain all the water and wash rice with normal water and allow it to rest -- is this method okay ?

      Hi God bless u 🙏🏽 with good health. Jowar rava/Dalia can be soaked for 3-4hrs and cooked as per ur need. If u r more health conscious- use whole soghum/jowar, wash 3times thoroughly by rubbing. Thn soak overnight 8-12hrs then cook in pressure cooker 7- 10 vizils. it will b like boiled chana/moong- soaked sabudana. This will be used for different recipes. OR. u can dry tht washed jowar in hot ☀️, thn give it in girni/flour mill asking them to make Dalia/rawa.

    Hello. You said curd if cooked creates inflammation. Then the Kadhi that we make with gram flour and curd cooked together, is it against ayurvedic principles and should not be eaten?

      Yes. Stay low fat diet for diabetes improvement. Barley is the best whole grain for helping diabetes . Also buy whole grain hulled barley and cook like oatmeal. ❤

      It's not wrong. There might be other factors. Depends on the quality of milk, the temperature to set the curd, sometimes even the climate.

      ​@@MilshyanI've tried with several types of milk, and homogenized milk does NOT work. You have to start with raw milk. Boil it and then make yogurt from it.

    why we need to to do the first step 2 teaspoon of barley flower and bring to boil then the third of the cup of flour why not all the flour with the right water quantity you showed at once? 2. And could you tell me how long the dough can stay in fridge? 3. can I place 4 or 5 rotti in the oven to save time instead of using the stove? thank you
