Hey Earl, with the aid of the electronics mount kit (LOS261013).... The 100a esc with the removal of its mounting tabs will fit in the Promoto using the provided mount in the kit...
Looking good! You’ll have to block that on your next run. Seems the wheelie mode controls the speed in order to control the wheelie. I’m sure we’re all waiting on that top speed🏁
Hope you stay safe from the hurricane I know what its like to have them coming. Mine tends to wheelie a bit to far on the rear fender from time to time for some reason it has too much punch or something it is my favorite mode. It will be interesting to see how the electronics that work the modes handle the increased power that was an incredible amount of work on that more than I want to do it was amazing to watch
Earl, I think Spektrum printed 2S on the ESC because of the 6V flywheel motor. It gets power 1on1 from batt. That no one comes to idea to connect 3S. But I'm sure that 85A ESC can handle 3S, like the normal non-promoto version.
For get to mention i could do with a little tutorial on programming the esc and as soon as i see how you get a 3s battery to fit i have everything i need in a basket ready to buy
Gyro slows down quicker when you leave the power on for the bike. Can you put the helper wheels on the opposite sides? So they lean abit forward . To give you tighter turns

The Vendetta will only run on 3S , The ESC and the Motor can not handle 4S power , A 4S battery will most likely burn out ESC or over heat the Motor and cause it to fail , or both ESC and motor could fail , I would not recommend putting in a 4S battery , it can still hit 70 mph on 3S . If you want to go faster I would suggest you buy the Traxxas XO1 , 100+ MPH

Nice job , I yanked the 3s esc from vendetta too. Jsuk , the 4s esc in kraton and outcast is smaller than 100 amp 3s from vendetta, probably the same size as the 2s guy , ridiculous they can’t over power them a bit to last longer run cooler we talking pennies and only not because of marketing

I'm wondering how you get power output from 2. ESC, with the servo cable cut off = gets no signal. How goes that? What brand is that 2. ESC for the gyro? Thank you!
@antoninus1 the gyro motor and esc is all built into itself it’s only using the power ground off the receiver wire 🤷🏻♂️ no signal other then the activation for the controller I’ve explained it in the instructions videos on the external BEC I installed to run the gyro on 2S while upgrading the esc for the drive motor 💯
I think your thinking about the reciever wire and the gyro has it own to control on and off as that internal bec is set to 6V on the receiver to control the gyro on off switch the external bec is now the power source for the gyro and ties into the battery power you plug in and convert it to 2s no matter the battery you install now 🤷🏻♂️
Very nice, mine should be here tomorrow. I was wondering how the flywheel works if you change it to run on 3s/4s. Do the RPMs go up or is it regulated somehow.

What tire in the front is that a stock tire? Do you drive it with the super promoto on the back and the stock on the front? How does it ride like that?
Using a spectrum controller is already set up for the receiver and yes I’ve done several calibration videos there all the same no matter the rc car or bike
Also another question Earl does the new Losi Promoto x motorcycle come with a single 1/10th scale motor ?…. Or is it a 1/8th scale motor ?… how big is this motorcycle ….?

The firmware will not turn on that esc anything over 2S I showed this in a video throttle won’t work and error flashes

Found the brand and studied the manual. But how to get permanent output voltage, without connect to an RX?

Motors don't have scales ... It's a 540 sized ( 3860) 4 pole 3800 kv non sensored motor.

See bike manual, stock esc can use 2S/3S. No matter which, 2s (7,4V) will come out for the gyro.
