Pyrobyte's story really sounds like a "As Alexander looked upon the breath of his domain, he wept, for there were no more worlds for him to conquer" type deal
Imagine being close to your 30's, having a wife and kids. When they come downstairs showing you a cool minecraft video. It turns out to be a video about how you took admin and took over an entire server, but no one but you knows that you were the one who was behind the character. You just chuckle at the old memories, feigning ignorance to who this mysterious Pyrobyte was while sending your kids to bed.
Pyrobyte got bored. He definitely did. Having a lot of power on Minecraft gets boring very quick, try playing only on creative mode by yourself all the time and you'll see what I mean.
I love how so much of 2b2t history is like a myth or rumor. Sometimes it's hard to separate real 2bt lore from folklore. The vague, unclear legends whose existence are debatable make it so interesting!

I am honestly not surprised at this point. I would have thought that like more people had command blocks just based on how psychotic some of the people are and how they will find the weirdest glitches. Like by now I would have thought someone found a way to like name a cow the code for a command block and like entity crammed, and if you alt f4 your Minecraft on the frame it dies, it actually drops a command block instead of leather. That just sounds like the sort of weird glitch someone would find in 2b2t.
But you'd need creative to actually *use* the command block, which is impossible without gaining access to Hausemaster's account or a new backdoor being found.
@@pianobreaker Not with command blocks. It's hard-coded into the game that you cannot access a command block unless you're in creative mode. Pyrobyte only used command blocks because he had creative access. Unless there's a bug in a future version of Minecraft that allows for command block usage in Survival Mode, or the code gets changed for testing and is mistakenly left in the final version, or a new backdoor into the server is found, there is not going to be another command block used by anyone other than Hausemaster.
@@Damariobros he is implying outside of the games code I mean pyrobyte found a way around, even though he basically put a virus in the house master's computer in order to give himself creative, but non the less he found a way around. Also based on the stuff I have seen I wouldn't be surprised if there was some strange 2b2t exclusive hack maybe caused by all the plugins that if you do one strangely specific thing with a weird block that no one ever would expect, that it would allow you to type into a command block if you timed it correctly with a specific back client or something strange like that.
@@potatochipclips Pyrobyte still had to use his workaround to give himself creative mode. He couldn't use Command Blocks any other way. And to do that, he had to hijack Hausemaster's alt, GeorgeBush420. There have been some glitches in the past such as the command carry-over glitch that could get you creative, and in the past there have been exploits that hacks may have been able to take advantage of to get creative, but ultimately, there are none in the game rn, and all of Hausemaster's alts have been put in Survival and de-opped, so you can't backdoor the server short of taking control of Hausemaster's main.
I heard from an interview years ago from a long time player with a name I cannot remember that told how Pyrobyte quit the server for good. It had to do with Hausemaster removing that same stash mentioned in the video that made him feel completely unmotivated to play in the server anymore iirc
2b2t is one of the most awesome things ive seen in gaming ever. I haven’t personally played it but the fact that players can become legends and leave behind treasures with actual history is crazyyy, not to mention there’s even an illegal black market
Correction: randomTickSpeed doesn't increase mob spawn rates. It only increases the rate that blocks receive random updates (e.g. crops growing, grass spreading, etc). I find it more likely that a lot of naturally spawned mobs were teleported there, or it's just a mob spawning glitch with old chunks. Also, if they had backdoor access, they likely wouldn't need command blocks to run commands.
nah i think it has to do with old terrain being unloaded for a long time then being loaded, ive noticed this on another server and i think it has to do with old chunks being updated and not loaded during updates? no idea
@@georgehopkins8482 Yeah, that sounds right. Passive mobs will spawn pre loaded with the seed. So maybe the lazy chunks where loaded with their data but nothing was actually spawned. So nothing could despawn? There for causing a buildup of mobs
@@mrh8509 Yea that’s the question. I’m currently digging thru the internet to find the answer- currently I haven’t found anything that proves me otherwise. And that passive mob cycle is 20 seconds (couldn’t remember)
@@ananttiwari1337 Yea. I have another theory than what Fit presents in the video. With access to commands you could also copy entity data and clone it (copy paste the sheep more or less) with the same attributes that the “original” sheep had. And if the original sheep was natural spawned the cloned sheep would also look just as that sheep. And despawn just like it. (Just my guess on it)
Using the command /summon or in combination with /execute to summon the new sheep at the exact same location of the original sheep of course. The commands have changed a bit here in newer versions. But as far as I remember the following command could achieve just this: /execute at @e[type=sheep] ~ ~ ~ summon sheep ~ ~ ~ {And maybe the entity data here in the brackets} Furthermore a ,r=200 for a radius could be specified so the sheeps would only duplicate around a given radius of the command block/player typing the command. And no one else around the server would suddenly notice 10x sheeps and what not.
At this point, I just want to see the history of 2b2t given the Dark Horse Comics treatment - a dark fantasy setting with epic scene setting and a “nobody is the hero” kinda vibe EDIT: OH, and narrated by Vati Vidia!

I feel like it’s more like him removing the base to conceal his own tracks of god like power, Housemaster would’ve probably also restored the terrain as well
Not sure that something is wrong with the terrain ( except the missing blocks ). It looks like someone TPed here when it was the old gen, and that area is now surrounded by new generation.
But tick speed does not change mob spawning? Also the mobs were in the new chunks not the old ones so the new chunks could not of been generated when the area was loaded originally, meaning that if random tick speed did affect mob spawning then the terrain was not loaded at the time so could not of spawned mobs. :|
I was looking for this! Random tick speed only influences things like crop growth. The thing that could influence mob spawning would be changing the game tick rate, but that is not possible with command blocks. Also the limits on mob spawning would still apply, so even then it's unlikely to result in this many sheep. And yes, since the sheep were in the chunks with new or newer Terrain generation, the sheep could not have been spawning there anyway. It should also be said, that while obtaining command blocks and placing them is one thing, actually using them is a different matter. To my knowledge it is just hard coded that you need to be in creative to be able to open them. It's of cause possible that the guy might have been able to change his gamemode, but I feel like that would have been noticed by others.
Pyro knew when to leave, as the saying goes. "You either die a hero, or live long enough to see yourself become the villain." Pyro made himself and his legacy a hero by not overstaying his welcome.
Dude you guys should definitely make a history book about this server and what has happened to it over the years, it’s be a good book I’d definitely wanna read on a rainy day!
"So, you finally found it Fit? Well that area is just the tip of the iceberg. Hause tried his best to remove the evidence of his mistakes, but he couldn't get everything. My wealth and treasures? If you want it, you can have it! Search for it! My fortune is yours for the taking, but you'll have to find it first. I left everything I owned in one piece."
As someone who gets nicknamef sheep boy due to having pet sheep and hair like a sheep, this video popping up in my recommended gave me quite the chuckle
"Wealth, fame, power. PyroByte, the King of 2b2t attained this and everything els the server had to offer, and his final words drove countless souls to the server,'You want my illegal blocks? You can have it! I've gathered everything together in one place, now you just have to find it.' These words lured men to spawn in pursuit of dreams greater than they'd ever dared to imagine! This became know as the Great Hacker era!"
In older versions of the game you can place and use command blocks in survival. I remember men's my friends used to run a server to play for fun, building and stuff. Everyone had admin but not to be used, only to check if others use it and for teleports and stuff. But I, the server host, told my friends that I hid a command block in the map somewhere and whoever had it could use any command they want as long as it is through the command block. The command block owner also had access to creative when they wanted to remove the block and place it somewhere else. It was really fun because everyone was fighting for it and it changed many owners. It was litterly an artifact that made you GOD

@@kachelstacktus you are correct when you say that it’s hard coded that you can’t interact with command blocks when not opped in creative.
Pyro knew when to leave, as the saying goes. "You either die a hero, or live long enough to see yourself become the villain." Pyro made himself and his legacy a hero by not overstaying his welcome.
Dude you guys should definitely make a history book about this server and what has happened to it over the years, it’s be a good book I’d definitely wanna read on a rainy day!
if he told me one of the longest running mysteries on the oldest anarchy servers on mc because of sheep, I would believe him.
This server has to become a series akin to "Love Death Robots", a collection of well-crafted miscellaneous shorts loosely connected by a single theme
I’m over here waiting until Netflix hires this man for a movie
Unrelated to the video, and you probably won’t see this, but your climbing form was really good in that short clip during the sponsor!
I left everything I owned in one piece."
honestly stuff like this makes me want to play 2b2t but i dont want to have to get into a group or defend myself from people constantly
For me its the literal 1000 player Q.
2:10 to skip ad
Dude your content is awesome keep up the good work fit
hausemaster is crazy he's like the grim reaper of all the legends
Person: So what do you work as?
Fit: I'm an archeologist
Person: but you only play Minecraft?
Fit: did I stutter?
can we just take a moment to realize how simple yet entertaining and high quality fit’s videos are?
4:06 “the bases Jesse, we must find the bases. No time to explain, just use this epic hack client I sent you and let’s get to work.”
yo Mr. White what's goin' on?
the lore only deepens
As someone who gets nicknamef sheep boy due to having pet sheep and hair like a sheep, this video popping up in my recommended gave me quite the chuckle
"sheep solved it"
>guy finds it
>asks other guy
>yeah thats pyrobytes place
cool sheep!
People don't realize that what's amazing is not the story, but the way it's told.
Underrated comment
@@aaronp.2809 thank you :)
this sounds like some history discovery and i love it
The sheep legit had the absolute smallest role in this. The proof was Jack and the screenshots he provided.
I love how dramatic a youtube video about a minecraft can be. cool vids.
7:35 are we not going to comment on that the housemasters head is on the left?
This is like one piece where the king of the pirates leaves people to find his treasure lol
You weren’t kidding fit when you said this video was going to be crazy. And amazing editing as usual
You're welcome. My buddies always got you covered!
They found the One Piece
As a sheep, I can confirm this is true, never underestimate a sheep - sheep

Me: Chilling on RUclips
FitMC: Did you know a sheep changed 2b2t!
I needed this sponsor. My current earbuds just broke so I’m gonna buy some of these now.
Man, I’ve been playing on 2b2t for some time and I never knew how much drama had taken place on the server. Thank you for educating me
I always think 2b2t is amazing server
A large scale of drama happens
Someone who like Sherlock Holmes solves mystery of the server
And someone makes mystery with unbelievable things
Keep it up fit great content!
I love how the story is so serious and the skin is just walter white
I just realized during the sponsorship that when fit gets old and his beard becomes white, he is going to look like Sensei Wu.
seeing these sorts of things happen in history is awesome, and seeing it here is still just as cool.
Today's fact: Twister was the first movie released on DVD.
cool
fr?
Wow
That’s actually pretty cool
Don't translate😡

imagine being so legendary that even years later the mystery you set in place has only been solved now
Pretty sure tick speed doesn’t effect mob spawn, at least in the current versions of the game.
Purobyte truly was the king of 2B2T, to hold so much power an wield it so benevolently is insane.
‘ender men remove blocks in such a short time’ ‘it happen 10 years ago’
I'm not sure if you'll see this fit but I just want to be one of the first people to say I would love to see a Ultra Hardcore Island world in the new update with the new deep dark personally I would love that still love you my man
Don't buy Raycons they have abominable audio quality and average comfort. They are not "better at only half the price" than premium ones they are half the price and 4 times as bad
actually courier 6 was recently crowned the king of 2b2t as well recently thats crazy how he is the one who found the base ironic isnt it
Based!
KING courier
i love courier 6
Waltuh
Pyrobite's story of being king and having a secret stash reminds me of gold d roger's story
i legit love it when fit uploads not like the other guys who just say that for clout
I love how there's straight up folklore legends about the past of this MC SERVER
There's a freaking ancient history of myths and legends for an ANARCHY MC SERVER
Like W H A T
U know more than Wikipedia
This server needs an anime. The lore writes itself, the land of chaos and destruction was united in fear and respect under a godking who eventually abandoned him now those of the current age embark on a expedition to prove he was real.
Anime is cringe and so are you
Man, Courier6 is legendary. Truly living up to his namesake
“You die a hero, or live long enough to see yourself become the villain”
