Just for anyone reading comments, if you are thinking about listing a vehicle on Turo, and it's a manual, and/or has a paddle shifted clutch, read their clutch policy before you do. It may change your mind, but you should definitely know what the policy is, I actually did not. I'm in a transmission/clutch claim process now, and it hasn't been smooth. I'd have to say, for accident damage, lol, and I've had a LOT this year, Turo has been prompt, and done a reasonable job of taking care of their responsibility. The jury... lol, or the arbitrator, in Turo's case, may still be out, but these are things you should know.

Congrats 100 trips. You have to take emotions out of it and treat it like a business and not a side hustle. Take many pictures and charge for incidentals. Also put in your rules you will charge for fragrances spayed your vehicles. Some bad renters smoke in your vehicle and spray fruity cover up sprays.

Good advice Cam. What cars do you have on Turo? I've only used turo as a renter. Thinking about putting a car on turo as a host.

Stay away from Turo. Gave me a ban. Guest said I had low tread on my tires. I literally had a tire shop say I had the min 4/32. They didn't care. Since I argued they unlisted all my cars and cancelled all my reservations. I had 5 cars. Not fun

They unlisted before arguing. I didn't argue and the tire shop said it was 4/32. I just asked why are they taking the word of a renter and unlisting the car before getting the facts. Ive been a power host for 3 years and a 4.98 rating. So never an issue. They won't release my vehicles from the platform so I am unable to put them somewhere else. But yeah you do you.@@aqn619
