Eh actually I’ve still got the 12 plus and havent had any interest in getting any of the other iphones until I heard the next one might be thin. As a bloke I find it really annoying to try and fit everything in my pocket. Big ass phone, keys, wallet, lighter/smokes. Too much. Anything that is lighter and thinner is gonna make that much easier.

I LOVE this. It solves the camera rocking issue when you set it down, makes Dynamic Island less disruptive, and finally, has a more durable screen, but WHY ON EARTH DO WE NEED A THINNER iPHONE??!?

nah. the note 7 didn't blast because it was thin. it blasted because it had battery issues. moreover the iPad pro is also 5 mm thin and there have been no complaints about the battery so far. So i don't think we would see a note 7 issue on the iPhone.

I honestly like that camera layout a lot. The Google Pixel did something similar if I’m remembering correctly and I really liked it then, too. I’m not too keen on the slim aspect though, seeing as that could easily damage battery life, processing power and more. I hope, if all of this is true, that Apple has really geared up for the change. If they haven’t done that by now, it’ll be the iPhone 6 all over again. We all remember how that went and I don’t think anyone wants a rerun of the same disaster, especially for the much more monstrous price tag.

Vivo x5 max was smaller and didn't have bending issues. Also Ipad Pro M4 is 5.1mm and no bending issues.
