Hi Dave, sorry to bother you, 4 years on from this but thanks for pointing this out, we're having huge problems with water running down our walls with a Guardian warm roof with some kind of condensation and just looking for any help we can get as Guardian seem to be denying anything. We initially thought we had a leak so they advised us to get lead replaced which we did and also a bunch of tiles. But we're near 100% sure it's condensation now.
Any chance I could contact you, as you seem more in the know than anyone I've seen yet.

@@TheGoosegumps I have a similar old polycarbonate conservatory roof and although it is not leaking, I have been looking at a DIY replacement solution. I'm sorry to hear about the condensation issues you are experiencing. There is no easy fix, the reason being generally any uncoated metal framing will experience temperature differences between the outside and the inside during the colder months and that will inevitably give rise to condensation issues. To give you an example, if you look under the roof in your home, you will notice the entire roof structure under the roof tiles is made from timber. In order to prevent consensations problems the entire roof structure i.e the rafters and the wall braces must be made from timber. Otherwise consendation issues will always be a problem.

@@MP-mu1kw Apologies to get back to you so late, don't log on to this account often and thank you for taking the time to explain. Since that last post I put on here, things got bad to worse anyway. Our insurance back guarantee was useless as the "fitting company" liquidated some time ago and the company who's the patent holder of this roof and who suggested the fitter sent a couple of people to look at it, one of them saying the whole roof wouldn't pass building regs, they've sawn some structural beams above the garage and the whole pitch of the roof is too shallow but they will replace a whole new one if I pay the £19k of course hah.
We tried to complain but now they refuse to talk to us.
Not much to be done but thought I'd share as you kindly replied, thank you again!
