Yesterday (while listening to this message for the first time) was much blessed by the quote at 14: about ruins in need of excavation.
To date exactly a month ago I was given - to write down - lyrics for a song - in Afrikaans; containing exactly that phrase. Now translated into English, the first verse reads:
So much that we do not understand
Sorrow, pain, broken dreams we've planned
Still there's hope to break down the ruins
In love to be building that which cannot be moved

If our desire is to truly help others we have to be healthy, spirit soul and body. Mentally healthy, spiritually healthy and physically healthy.
I believe God wants us to be healthy. But getting healthy is a process, one step at a time one day at a time. we need to begin and continue the journey of health. We have to take responsibility and recognize That we carry trauma. we were handed down trauma through our family and that we are passing trauma to our family. Healing is possible, especially when we know that God want us to truly And truly be healed, for his glory not our own.
I see value in this video, sometimes the truth is supposed to swallow. Life fragile and precious it's hard to think that individuals go through life and never realized how important it is to know that we do not have to subscribe to the status quo but we are free to explore/ heal/ and develop those areas in our life that was neglected or never developed. Never too late to make a change. Hope/ healing/ and growth is what I want to have in my life..
I believe that will only happen when we have courage to face that hurts of the past. I was victim of crime when I was young. Robbed of innocence and strips of Safety and Security when I was 7. The whole year I was terrorized by send Minister that lives in a home almost every single day just sick individual expose me to toxic exceptions in toxic belief that I carried on all my life I carried beliefs and that's poison until I got help counseling then I realized so there's more and there is healing and opportunities to develop and grow
Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these." People who abuse their children don't realize how serious it is.

It seems they dedicate their lives, help carry the burdens of the weak, and suffer with those who are suffering to me. The satanic ritual abuse victims they counsel and dedicate their lives to help these victims heal, amd integrate them into society! Hearing the deplorable acts mankind commits toward one another, and the burden of constantly fighting a root of bitterness and despair that they would not be consumed by the traumas of others.
These people are heroes. It's unfortunate we need counselors because the chirch should be equipped and minister so all this work doesn't fall upon a few!
What help can an individual seek from your organization. I really need assistance with my PTSD as it interferes with my work
Matthew, I just saw this. I do not know why these organizations do not respond. It doesn't speak well of them. Matthew, look for a licensed clinical neuropsychologist, or neuropsychiatrist. It may be that your state's medical school or medical association can give you recommendations.
Investigate EMDR. It seems to have remarkable benefits in treating PTSD. Also, consider using cannabis for your PTSD. There are only twelve states in which there is no medical provision for cannabis use in the laws of those states. And even in those, you can always make a trip to a nearby state to get cannabis. I live in such a state, and this afternoon made a short trip across my ( stupid ) state's line to a dispensary, where I bought a month's supply of cannabis.
I do this at my doctor's orders.
He is furious with the moronic laws which have warred against use and research of cannabis for medical purposes for many decades.
I am not urging this upon you. It may be that talk therapy, EMDR, something else, or some combination of them would be better for you. But one thing is clear: you need medical help. Go for it.

It is kind of comical "humans joined together to serve" that sounds so lovely but reality is in this type of family trauma, drama- if we do not have a problem we will create them- you can never dig yourself out of the poo long enough to serve others- you are too busy trying to fix the crap that is going on within the family hoping that the outside world does not see the crap that goes on behind closed doors.
It is living life in hell! You find yourself having to control others - and you know why- because no one answers to God! Humans that answer to the Lord do not have these problems!
Removed now for 5 years and I am realizing I do not want to control anyone! If you do not answer to God that is your problem but I be dammed if you are going to stay in the same house as I am!
I must correct Dr Langberg. God never said in scripture that it is not good for humans to be alone.
Instead, God said it is not good for the man to be alone, thus the woman was created that Adam, the man would not be alone.
God goes on to say that He made the woman for the man, not the man for the woman.
Its perfectly fine for women to be alone. We dont need men.
These public ppl live on trauma. Clients who pay.
