You have to have the best background on all of booktube. I just want to curl up and read a book looking at this room. I found your channel in my suggestions just now and am glad that I did. Looking forward to your next video! ❤️
i’ve been gettin into tolstoy lately and reading him into two months it’s perfect, because it’s not a long long period of time but it also gives you real time to read his books.
Omg girl, I love you 🥰 I am having the worst day, my chronic illness is flaring up and I’m having another health issue, I’m in pain, on edge all day, crying and I got a notification that you posted a video. You have no idea how happy that made me feel, thank you for being here on RUclips, thank you for your bright energy, you’re such a sunshine. I’ll love to send you a letter and some gift in the future! Thank you ❤️ now I’m going to watch your video while sipping a tea. Have an amazing day!
I absolutely love Pax! I picked it up in a train station a couple of years ago but never got around to reading it. Read it earlier this year and absolutely fell in love with the story and the feeling of family and belonging.
!!! I have Pax on my shelves too but I keep not reading it bc I also think it's going to make me cry. T-T But I own it bc I couldn't stop thinking about the premise. Can't wait to hear what you think about it! 🦊
I don't usually gravitate towards middle grades but you have a gift to always put me in the perfect mood for them, I guess I'm picking up The Strangers this month because a while back you said it was the perfect book to get out of a reading slump and, oh boy, I need it...
Have you heard of Jen Campbell's new book? The Sister Who Ate Her Brothers: And Other Gruesome Tales. It's a collection of folk and fairy tales from around the world, I'm not sure if they're reimagined or just retold by her. It just came out in the UK, will be out here in the US in November.
Ohmygod you're gonna read keeper of the lost cities?!?! AHHH IM SO EXCITED!! im on the last book and have been watching your RUclips videos for quite a while now, so im so glad you're gonna read my fav series!!!!
I really hope you like the bloody chamber. I read that collection myself and I adored it, and I actually managed to get a bind-up of all her short stories.
Also Emma and Carolyn totally inspired me to pick up Anna Karenina again (which I DNFed 10 or 15 years ago 😅)! My copy is still at my parents so it's on my list of books to collect when I visit for Christmas 📚🎄
I'm planning on reading House in the Cerulean in Sea, The Inheritance of Orquidea Divina, Finlay Donovan is Killing it, and The Strangers. I am excited to read all of them. I love your videos so much and your reaction to your cat is everything. 🐈
Anna is sooo good❤️. It’s not a difficult classic at all. I have read it twice, and I just love being in that world. Don’t be suprised if you can’t put it down and are finishing it earlier than you antisipated. Enjoy🥰.
Im reading Cinderella is dead , Prom House and The Words on Bathroom walls ,also the Scott Westerfield book series the Uglies, pretties, specials and extras..currently on book one the Uglies..
Dear lexi, thank you so much for taking out the time and the effort to create such heart warming videos for us . I really love your kind hearted nature and joyous personality; you're a literal ray of sunshine. We all love you so so much.❤ Ooh ooh .. and i also highly highly recommend you to read the "Inspector Gamache" series (cozy atmospheric murder mysteries) . They are like perfect for this season. I actually accidentally read the 3rd book first but let me tell you it was epic , 5 star for me ! (I got heartbroken n even cried a little cz what happened at the end was something i cud deeply relate too.) So id really love it if ud give it a try. P.S all of your fur babies are adorable. 🐾 🎑
Excited to hear your thoughts on Keeper of the Lost Cities! The entire series has become a bit of a comfort read for me; I reread the entire series twice throughout the pandemic because I find them so comforting. I hope you enjoy the first book!
If you haven’t read The Pages & Co series I think you would love it! Super cozy middle grade. It’s about a girl that can wander into books and her grandparents own a bookshop in England. They are phenomenal!
Ok, so I've been watching your channel for a few weeks, and I just wanted to let you know how amazingly helpful it is that you put the age range (Middle Grade, YA, etc.) of books in your description! I'm always having to go to Goodreads to figure out if a book is YA or not, but I never have to when I'm watching your videos! ❤️
I've been splitting out reading of a big book. I am reading the collected Icelandic Sagas. I'm enjoying them but they take quite a while to read. So I've decided to read around 200 pages, read another book, then return for the next 200 pages and so on. The book lends itself well to this as it's broken into shorter stories and sagas and it means I keep on top of my tbr and library holds whilst still completing a book that has been on my tbr since 2016!
I loved Beasts and Beauty! Also really want to read the new T J Klune and Pax asap :) I've just finished The House in the Cerulean Sea and I'm feeling veeeeeeery lost. How to move on from that book -seriously!!!!!!!!!
You have gotten me into reading middle grade books so thank you. I'm finishing up midnight library. Will start Dune and finishing up a old series called house of night by pc cast I'm to invested to stop.
Great video Lexi, with Beasts of Beauty the age is a little higher than middle grade in the U.K. from what I have seen. Great TBR stack, I hope you enjoy Pax, I think you will love it 🥰 🦊🏡
The way I screamed when I saw keeper of the lost cities I swear I love that series so much Also when she said it was *cute and cozy* I was like mmmmmm just wait
just a heads up for under the whispering door (which i read last weekend and LOVED), the description is not very accurate to what actually happens. it's definitely wholesome and cozy, but not in the same way as the house in the cerulean sea. under the whispering door is very much a book about grief.
🦊 1. Your book of the month selections are consistently the ones I’d pick too 😆 Guess this means I have to give it a try. 2. Love this November tbr…fall reads alwaysss win. 🙌🏼 🦊 Oh and anyone considering Angela Carter after this she’s a yes from me! That book cover made me think of her, too.
I read keeper of the lost cities and loved it...... I finished it in 2 freaking days while I take much longer to finish a book of that size. Just read it you will love it 💝. Love to Alexandera 💝💝
i'm planning on continuing spoopy season and reading some creepier/darker/thriller kinds of books. i actually just bought the atlas six after months of having a picture saved of it haha i'm thinking of picking up coraline since i never actually read it and maybe ace of spades or horrid. i actually have to pick up the deceivers from my library this week (it's finally available!)
Hi!!! Since you asked, I'm not a huge fan of BotM, but that's only because it's not available in Canada D'x I am also reading Under the Whisppering door this month and it is also a spill over from October, lol
I'm pages away from finishing Well Matched, the 3rd book in the Well Met series. I've really enjoyed all of them. Next up I'll be reading The Ex Hex finally, very excited about that. And then I also have The One by John Marrs based on your recommendation from awhile ago. I also have The Giver of Stars by Jojo Moyes and Love and Other Words By Christina Lauren lined up. I've been in such a great reading kick since finding your channel and getting a goodreads account!
I just joined your channel 😊❤️❤️💞💞💞💞❤️❤️your background is everything. You rock .I've been an Avid reader since I was four. I can never have enough books.📕📕📕📙📙📓

Ives rocher advent calendar or Marionnaud advent calendar. The last three are more self care and cosmetics ones. What should I do??? 🥲help!!!!! 🥺

Pax is beautiful. My 9yo loved it, it’s a tear jerker for sure. I cried every time we discussed it after his reading. So sweet.
