Random but…thank you so very much for putting captions on your videos for us hard if hearing folks such as myself. I really appreciate it! Love your videos! ❤️🙏🏼
I had the exact same thoughts about And Then They Were None by Agatha Christie because it was so hyped up. Finally mustered up the courage to read it a few months back and loved it so much. Murder on the orient express is on my TBR list ever since then.
And Then They Were None is such a fun read!!! Murder on the Orient Express is also good but a little slower in pace and you definitely have to like Poirot. I think the ending polarizes people but I still have it 4 stars 😊
@@kate-ne Wow! I’ve heard so much about the Poirot mysteries. Plus, Murder on the Orient express gives such an old English thriller sort of feels , with the train setting, the murderer on the train, race against time and all that. I’ll probably gobble it up within day 😎
Hi, I'm Hmong and just want to say that it is so cool that a book exists depicting the Hmong culture and especially great for Disney Book Group to be promoting books of other cultures. I honestly have not heard of the book Pahua and the Soul Stealer at all and now I have to look it up! From listening to the story description, I can already pick up aspects that is prevalent in our culture. The book sounds like a really cute and fun read!

your new haircut is ADORABLE!!! i hope you enjoy reading “a lesson in vengeance” i absolutely LOVED it!! the atmosphere and dark academic vibes were stunning!! thank you for always recommending such great books, i’ve read so many great books this year through your recommendations 😊 🤍
Yes Piranesi!!!!!!!!!!! My #1 read of the year! So excited to hear your thoughts! What a great TBR for the month. I have All’s Well on mine for this month.
My TBR list is getting soooo long, mostly because of your recommendations! I’m having a hard time keeping track of everything I want to read. I try to get as much as I can from the library and I get so excited that I get everything all at once and then run out of time and have to return stuff I haven’t read yet. I definitely need to come up with a better system!
I looooove the decorations as always ❤❤ I don't wanna add to the pressure but I am so excited to hear your thoughts on Piranesi and am also planning to read her other book this month since I loved Piranesi so much :D Hope you like it 👻👻 This emoji is my fave as well :D
Recently finished Piranesi. I was definitely intimidated at first but once I gave up trying to make a map of what the “house” looks like, it was a lot less stressful. You get the hang of which hallways and details of the house are important the more you read it. Piranesi is the most adorable character and I love him so much
I want to read Agatha Christie as well this autumn. Feels like the perfect time. Just need to reserve from the library. Can’t wait to hear your thoughts
I'm trying to wrap up two books! In a dark, dark wood and the confessions! I'm so ready for some other picks for the spooky season! I absolutely love your recommendations and picks! 💛💛
I totally get the intimidation of Piranesi! I did read it earlier this year, and I think the secret is to just keep reading even when you're confused. It does get explained! Just push through :) Also, this TBR sounds amazing! I literally have every single one of these books on my list, so I'm very much looking forward to hearing your thoughts!
LOve the September TBR! I have such a hard time choosing the books I want to read. I want to read Agatha Christie as it has been 30 years since I last read her. my cat decided you are the best video maker on youtube!
I just finished the first Paola Santiago book and loved it. I hope I can read the sequel soon. Also I've heard nothing but good things about Ace of Spades and I want to pick it up as well. Hope you are able to get to all the books and you enjoy them.
Love love your backgrounds and all the spooky books you want to read for September! I cannot believe Fall/Autumn is already here I am so here for it! Happy Autumn happy reading!!!!! 👻👻👻👻👻👻👻👻👻👻👻
👻 love the way you decorated your bookshelves!♥ Will really try to finish way of kings this month but with college and work, it's gonna be a challenge. Have a huge tbr list so maybe i'll go to the library and get a book from there.
The Strangers by Margaret Peterson Haddix is such a good book! Not at all what I expected when I read the blurb on the back. I’ll be picking up the 2nd and 3rd books soon!
My current most anticipated is The Kiss Quotient! I feel like everyone raves about Helen Huang, so I'm super excited about it! Also, I recently picked up Cemetery Boys by Aiden Thomas and I'm super jazzed about that one too!

Frankenstein is an excellent choice! Love that book. The last part of the book is fabulous for the monster. I’d recommend a great audiobook for the last section. Powerful.
The vibes in this video are immaculate. Your bookshelves are so spooky and perfect for the Halloween season! Definitely going to be adding many of those books to my TBR! 👻🎃
Happy Fall!! Always love your videos. Love all the happiness you radiate 😊 I’m curious about the mug you’re holding in the beginning…..your fingers slip inside an opening?? Please tell where you got it😁❤️
I loved Piranesi. Probably my favorite book of the year. I will say that I didn't know anything that was going on but I just hung on for the ride. Hope you enjoy it.
Piranesi is very confusing for the first half or so but it's totally worth it cause when you get to the explanation of what is happening the payoff is excellent so interesting!
im currently reading the unhonneymooners and totally enjoying every chapter. I also listed your August TBR to my September TBR lols 👻👻👻 thanks for all the recommendations, because of you I started to pick a book and once again open those pages...love you and ur channel😍😊😊
I have Paola/River of Tears & All's Well on my TBR for fall too! (Well I have the first Paola book lol but close enough). I read Ace of Spades in August and it was slow at first but about halfway through really picks up the pace! I gave it 4 stars and I'm so glad this book is getting some more traction 🤩
Murder on the Orient Express is one of my personal favorites and one of her best books. Though another great one of hers is And Then There Were None which fits even better with the spooky season. It's about ten people that are trapped together on an isolated island, they have all been summon there under different reasons and they all have secrets. Slowly they all start get killed off one by one by some mysterious killer hiding in the shadows. It gives this great feeling of suspense, dread, and death around every corner. If you like Orient Express, I highly recommend picking up And Then There Were None.
I have so many books that I want to read, this month. From your list, I may pick up Jonathon Strange and Mr. Norell. I do love me a good historical fiction! 👻 I think it's so cute that you love the ghost emoji. I'm going to send you a picture of my son, Seth, in the ghost emoji costume I made him a few years ago.
Piranesi was amazing! The beginning was slow and I thought about DNFing it, but I'm so glad that I stuck with it because it ended up being one of my favorites. I have Johnathan Strange and Mr. Norrell on my TBR too, but I'm intimated.
Great Video Lexi and the book I’m dying to read is Go The Distance & What Once Was Mine both Disney Twisted Tale Books I’m obsessed with them Lol 😂 Happy Spooky Season 👻
Love the spooky bookshelves! I reread Frankenstein every fall, it's so good I think you'll love it. Definitely a lot to the story that often gets left out when translated to pop culture. Also Piranesi was hands-down the best book I read last year, and I still can't stop thinking about it. It definitely can be intimidating in the beginning especially when its confusing, but stick with it because it really gets better! 👻👻
I’ve been wanting to read a good mystery book for a while now, especially Agatha Christie books. I used to read the Nancy Drew books when I was a kid and well after reading fantasy I just never went back to reading mystery books. I might just start this month or next month. This month and most of October I’m reading the Dune Chronicles chronologically in anticipation for the Dune Movie coming out next month. But of course being a mood reader I have to sprinkle in a fee other books that suits my mood which are mostly in the fantasy genre because I read primarily fantasy anyways. Looking forward to reading more books from the Wayward Children series and The Lunar Chronicles. And maybe squeeze in The Book Thief in there. Very ambitious. Hahaha...
👻👻👻I read Frankenstein in college. I feel like I need to re-read it someday, to appreciate it for itself rather than a class assignment. You're right, though - it is sadder than people give it credit for.
I have Murder on the Orient Express on my TBR for September too! I’ve always been terrified of Agatha Christie as well, but the fall time has me feeling in the mood for a good murder mystery!
Agatha Christie truly is the master! And Murder on the Orient Express is truly one of the best (just to keep the hype going 😂). I read a Poirot in between my bigger books, kind of like a little treat. They're always cosy, fun, clever, and quick! Enjoy!

Murder Under the Sun, The Clocks + Death on the Nile are favorites too! Once you get used to the writing style, you'll love it! 🥰
