I’m very excited about these new releases! I adore Gourmand fragrances and Guerlain is masterful in this category! I’m excited about the Vanilla, Tonka, Iris and Honey Extraits!
HELLO Extracts 50 ml. Price - 705 €. They bought me Vanilla and Bergamot. Will go on sale in November. But in Prague they kindly sold them to us in a boutique.
Oh, my goodness! I smelled the Tobacco Honey when I went to the flagship store in Paris two weeks ago, and I am OBSESSED!!! (I hate that its so pricey!) I was there to buy Aprés L'Ondée which is very hard to find in Rome, Italy. I had been looking for it since I smelled it but didn't buy it on a trip to Venice in 2011. I'm so glad I finally got some, but now I can't stop thinking about the Tobacco Honey.
I'm absolutely obsessed with Guerlain scents. I purchased Neroli Outrenoir at the Guerlain boutique on the Champs Elysee for my 50th birthday. I've been in love with the maison ever since. AND my favorite makeup artist, Violette, is their Creative Director. I smelled Spiriteuse Double Vanille earlier this year and it's absolutely breathtaking. Excited about these Extraits!
Thanks for all of the info on the upcoming launches, Sebastian! I’m curious to try Tobacco Honey, and of the Extraits, I’m most interested in Vanille Planifolia. That is definitely a high price tag, though, so it had better be exceptional! ❤

Just returned from Paris and purchased my first L'Art Et La Matiere fragrance. I choose Cuir Beluga... it was love at first sniff. The new extraits sound interesting, but PRICEY!
Great video as always! Wow….50 ml for $630! I wonder how strong they will be and where it falls on a $/wear basis. However, more importantly, Tobacco Honey!!!! Shoot that right into my veins! If it smells as good as it sounds I may want to fill the pool with it!
I got to smell Tobacco & Honey early (can't reveal where, don't want to get my sales associate in trouble) and it is sickeningly sweet, with the tobacco not discernible to me at all without having been told. Truly another level of sweetness that would rival something like La Vie est Belle. Scary.
@@morganylong5555 No, Tobacolor has a more obvious tobacco note and a fruity facet. The Guerlain is a very powdery honey, ultra sweet. Whether it is sweeter than Tobacolor I can't quite say, because they could be equally sweet but the extra facets in the Tobacolor might subdue the perception of sweetness. It definitely matches it though, at the very least in terms of sweetness.
Yesterday I hat the opportunity to test in Hamburg the new Tobacco honey. It reminded me of Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille in the opening but after 1 hour I could only smell very sweet, strong honey. It was very strong and after few hours annoying. I hat to wash it off because I got a headache
Of these I've only heard of Honey Tobacco, got to here about it a month ago. So I went to the Guerlain counter at Bloomingdales to check it out. At the time the sales associate couldn't say when the launch in France will happen. Whenever it launches, I hope the launch here in Dubai is at the same time and not lag a few months like we experience sometimes.
Very exciting news, Sebi...I Love les Arts & Matiere...Bois D'armenia, Tonka Imperiale & Cuir Beluga my favs! Unbelievably i still haven't smelled Angelique Noir! For me nothing compares to Guerlain for sheer delicious elegance, enchantment and delight! 🐝💛🐝🧡
@The Perfume Guy That’s a pretty hefty price tag for a new fragrance. I’ll stick with my Spice Bombs until that prove comes down or if my girl gifts it for me 🧐🤚🏽
I prefer to remain ignorant on this collection and High End Guerlain in general, no way I'm going to pay that for a fragrance, when you review them and I get your take on them I might buy a decant but that's as far as I'll go. Thanks for the video Sebastian!!!
Love, love the House of Guerlain. Just recently purchased their Encens Mythique and it is divine! (Also, much better priced in CDG duty-free) Would also love to get my hands on Tonka Imperial, just wish they would release it in 50ml... Thank you for this update will be on the lookout to try the new releases!
@isobel64 Prices are definitely much better in CDG, the only issue is that the selection in store depends on the terminal you are in. I flew British Airways and Air France in the past, both terminals had a large duty-free store. Also, if you sign up for an account, you get an additional % off.
Ps. L'Art & La Matière Collection was not available in duty free, but Aqua Allegoria and Les Absolus d'Orient collections were both there almost in full.
I am very excited to try these. I love the Guerlain L'Art collection so much that I am sure the extraits won't disappoint. The price is what it is. Roja fragrances cost that much and more so I think it is to be expected.
I freakin' LOVE Bois D'Armenie but I find the newer presentation bottles don't smell quite as good as the previous versions. Not sure why. Angelique Noire doesn't smell quite the same anymore either to my nose.
SDV and Eau de Cashmere are enough for me… so far… hehehe… considering Cuir Beluga/Tonka Imperiale. The Extrait will likely be a pass for me. Btw, have you ever discuss about their Muguet line? Those are frickin expensive also

It's definitely on the outrageous side given how large they are and their possible discounted materials cost at scale. I've seen one person independent perfumers charge $135 for 15ml of extrait concentration; but that's different for me and doesn't bother me like this does. I won't be seeking this out.
I only have smelled Santal Pao rosa, I purchased it for my girlfriend, she was smelling awesome ! We are not together anymore but I still remember how amazing and gorgeous she was smelling wearing Santal Pao Rosa!
I own a couple Aqua Alegoria which I really like and a decant of Shalimar from Guerlain. Honestly, I have been turned-off by this house, they pulled their Art and La Matiere line from the US stores a couple of years ago, no easy access to samples, and compounded by their astronimical prices make less of an atractive parfume house to purchase from. With their new line selling at $600 doesn't appear they are changing their marketing strategy either.
I found your channel for the first time and really enjoyed your ranking of Guerlain fragrances. We definitely share the same taste. You've inspired me to try some of the ones you've mentioned (old and upcoming ones). Believe it or not although I love Spiritueuse Double Vanille, it gives me a headache 1 hour into wearing it. Tonka Imperiale and Angélique Noire are among my favorites in the L'Art & La Matière line. However, I agree with the other posts. Yyyyeeeesss👏👏👏👏👏👏👏love your videos ❤❤❤❤
Yay! Thank you!
The collection itself sounds incredible as does the price unfortunately. Oud nude is possibly the most desirable. We can dream can't we 🙏
Honey tobacco sounds great. Do you have a designer fragrance honey tobacco top 10 lists? TIA
I don’t have a honey tobacco list but I have many tobacco lists on the channel. 😀
Yesss! Guerlain rocks
Woohoo!
Wonderful 🎉🎉🎉
Would u recommend Cuir beluga for a man loving leather fragrances?
It's a gourmand leather. Super delicious I think! For a man? Yes it works but def unisex! :)
Guerlain is tops!
I usually hate gourmands or anything with a gourmand or sweet note. I am more into musks, patchoulis, and animalics. But Burt's Bees has their Honey lip balm and, to me, it smells soooo good and "sexual". Does anyone have a good Honey perfume that is more sexual and less sweet? I want to try this Tobacco Honey!
A really good animalic perfume is Salome by Papillon. No honey note listed but you can sample.
These sound nice but that price is really up there. I just can't see myself justifying that. Maybe if i win the lotto. 😂
Hi ! Love love looove your videos !
Thanks for the tip! Bummer but makes sense they launch so much so they got to discontinue some! :)
@@ThePerfumeGuy Yeah definitly and I think these are not the best sellings one :)
I agree. If I don't get it then it was never meant to be. I'll see. :)
I'm always affraid that they will discontinue gourmand coquin... although I already have a bottle, I'm always thinking that I should get a backup bottle!
@@ThePerfumeGuy Hey hey hey some other news from my seller today. There will be 6 extraits ! And they will not be spray, I think that's why it's 50 mL 😆
After I hit the fantasy 5, I'll try some of these.😂💸💸💸💸💸
Can someone tell me if Guerlain has discontinued the classic extraits ? Vol de Nuit , Mitsouko etc ? Are they still available at Guerlain boutiques even if they are not being sold online ?
Most likely in Paris they will sell those. I'm uncertain elsewhere though.
Thanks Sebastian !
The sixth one will be titled "Bergamote Fantastico"
Tobacco honey is already released..even in the Usa
Who is selling it?
@@ThePerfumeGuy saks..ill send you the picture via instagram
Great job
do you know where I can get a bottle of gourmand coquin?
Discontinued but the rumor is it might come back. I haven’t acknowledged this rumor yet.
@ThePerfumeGuy Thanks for the reply Sebastian! I'm hoping to find a discontinued bottle somewhere, (if anyone reads this msg me in the comments!!) or I hope to and pray god they bring it back
At those prices? Not a chance.
They asking crazy money!!
Should charge $1000
Angelique Noire is my favorite from this house.
Wow, really expensive! I just wish Guerlain would bring back Gourmand Coquin.
You’re in luck! I just bought my bottle! It’s got a new name, but it’s there: Feve Gourmande!
Armaf, fragrance world , Harramain and all other brands: DO YOUR BEST ! . Do your best to give us these perfumes in about a year for a fraction of this ridiculous price. Thank you in advance .
Thank you
