The Chelsea first-team squad was back on the training pitches at Cobham this morning to prepare for our Premier League London derby with Arsenal on tuesday evening.
Just three days on from our Emirates FA Cup semi-final defeat to Manchester City, the Blues return to the north side of London for a meeting with Arsenal, and will look to maintain an unbeaten run in the Premier League that lasts more than two months.
Mauricio Pochettino's players were back in training yesterday and continued preparations for the challenge at the Emirates Stadium this morning.
Despite the quick turnaround from our Wembley disappointment, Pochettino says the mood in the camp has already lifted.
Chelsea could be without the services of leading goalscorer Cole Palmer for the Arsenal trip, with illness preventing him from taking part in training. A decision on his availability will be taken closer to kick-off.
Our second-highest scorer this season, Nicolas Jackson, was involved in today's session and Pochettino has praised the Senegalese forward's all-round game.
Raheem Sterling was another forward involved in today's session. He overcame an illness of his own last week to appear from the substitutes' bench during our FA Cup semi-final.
The England international has a strong record when facing the Gunners having scored eight Premier League goals against the north Londoners over the course of his career.
Mudryk was also putting in the hard work in training today and will be in contention to feature at the Emirates.
In other news, Manchester City and Chelsea are among some of the top Premier League sides who are on the trail of St Mirren's 17-year old full-back Ethan Sutherland.
Borussia Dortmund will have to pay a club record £35m if they want to turn their loan for Chelsea's Ian Maatsen into a permanent deal.
