Consider looking into a O-Ring material that’s rolled up and you can superglue the ends together to make a large oring for the whole top. And make a ridge in the carbon when your molding.
I forgot to say what I did to my delta force to cut down the chine walk somewhat. I cut the vee in the middle about an inch wide out all the way till the front where the bow curved away from the level cuts.I put a bit of plastic on the outside and use carbon fibre and epoxy on the inside. This made a flat level plank . It helped.
@@jaycevessier7554 yep, I’m from the full size boat world and we call them planks. I couldn’t think of the term ride pad when I was writing. Thanks for that.
@@H2oMechanic2RC I think you need to go from the back forward until the vee curves up so you don’t create a rocker. In the mould you could set it up level side to side and front to back then pour in epoxy or resin and let it self level at whatever width you prefer.
@@jamesatkinson7517 I wouldn’t go that far. Make the pad just like a real boat. Just the last part. Look at delta force hulls, their pad is just the back like 1.5” of hull
Dude....that is absolutely not a funny thing as it could have been WAY worse for u and the boat.....but God dam the way u tell it has me baggin the fuck up!!!

Great story
Some nice toys in your garage.
Remember if you haven’t already, the gps don’t go through the carbon fibre hatch

I was going to do exactly that to the hull mold. I was going to fill in a v towards the rear & make it flat
So basically you made a pad
