I call this a Whale Tail like on older i/o boats. Funny that you actually made this bc I had a similar thought trying to extend the ride pad. I like trying to fix a well know issue by thinking outside the box

Your extension was a notable improvement in my view! It settled the Spartan down very well as you intended! I look forward to seeing what happens with the bigger prop and moving the stinger down a bit!
I have to get my boat out soon if we get warmed up a little more..

the footage didnt demonstrate the comparison well but it did feel less 'loose' in the waves compared to a full run the day before, not night and day but there was something there

I know that you’re very well knowledged in running but you have something off on your tune. If you can’t get over 49 mph that’s an issue. Mine is solid at 61 mph. My issue is blowing over.

I suspect the hull itself may be at fault and need sanding, even its first run out of the box was terrible, i think it was made late on a friday afternoon lol

@@RCBoatBitz yeah something is definitly off because that thing doesn’t run anything like my boat. I run the right trim tab lower than left with a seaking 180 and leopard 4082. It’s flat and smooth but takes off like a airplane after 62
