What worked for me re Alex/ear/eye pressure buildup flying is to take an antihistamine before a flight. Pressure buildup is usually down to the cavities in your face being blocked with nowhere for the pressure to go. I had a deviated septum (thanks Obituary mosh pit) and flying kicked my ass. But if I took medication that clears my airways it always did the trick. Surgery fixed it for me.

Eventually I was able to blow out the pressure build up in my ears by closing my noise and blowing but it actually hurt like a motherfucker when it finally popped >.>
On a cruise I was on, I found it fucking hilarious to put those hand sanitizer dispensers in the elevators and push all the buttons. My friends started doing it too, it drove the staff insane
