- In this video I take a look at a mobile game classic that rarely gets any attention, Swordigo. The game released in 2012 and got 10 million downloads, yet nobody seems to remember it. That's until today where I'll be taking a look at Swordigo.

Also, this man did not touch up on the actual pain that the great caves caused (probably) everyone
Great caves is such a maze if you don't remember the map (theres 1, 2, 3, pits and horizontal tunnels with similar but different floor) and getting the full great caves chests are REALLY A PAIN like you have to kill 20+ blobs then you gotta throw a bomb while cooking it at the right time so you can get a chest.(if you run out of mana then..) but this is so good

From the bottom of my heart, thank you, i can't even express how happy this video's existence makes me, and many other people too, since, even though mobile games nowadays are just money making ad machine we can still look back on those things we appreciated, and appreciate them more, just like games like these, that marked childhoods, that marked scars, that marked golden days, and that created memories.

Yesss, I played and finished it around 2013 and just forgot about it. I recently stumbled on it when I was going through my playstore download history . Played it again and it's still really great , really miss games like this.
Ya, mobile games can be good but companies like voodoo just ruined the platform. Wish some company revies this platform like Nintendo did.

I'm currently replaying this game, and every seeing every single area once again brings back both nostalgia and pain from when I first played it. This is indeed the greatest mobile game of all time, and i'm glad to have played it.
Swordigo was my childhood i'm so thankful for this game I have such good memories playing it over and over again I must have finished the game at least 10 times .Thank you for makeing a video on one of my favourite childhood games means a lot.

Everyone who have played it 4-5 years ago can never forget this masterpiece
I usually don't comment, but this is still like my favorite game. I remember my first play through where I spent like an hours trying to jump across the gorge near wellcliff city not knowing that you needed to come back with the dimension rift ability. Since then I have beat the game 100% like 15 times. This game is crazy nostalgic for me
After I finished the game, I tried to find other games with a similar play style as swordigo but they just can't compare. Swordigo is just so good

I played this first in 2014 and still play to this day when I want to.
Swordigo is and will remain a classic title.
4:53 is actually pretty easy when the bridge is about to swing to the left, walk right and vice versa
The old times where i got frustrated about the cave jumping maze stage,
dodging all of the bolts just to get a ice trinket, beating this annoying shit frost boss wielding a hammer that has broken hitbox, and most importantly,
RIP Non human, Selma.
Hahaha this boss anoyed me the most too. I made even a trick for myself to beat this anoying champ in 1min. i hate him so much. But the most anoying thing in this game are this ice insects, nonstop jumping, so anoying xD
Ah the Frost Boss. He is annoying, but all you need is the wedges on both ends of the arena to regen mana and max health with Magic Armor. Then you can just tank most of the battle. Also, dont stay in the other world due to the flames being annoying
The Frost Boss is literally second most annoying boss in Swordigo for me, just outranked by that Flame Boss.
@@eclipsewaves Frost boss is easy, you just need to have max magic and max hp, just remember to not stay in the other dimension unless you wanna die from those fire projectile enemies after beating the boss and cry for 50 hours. It hurt when that happend. Fire boss, I found this out myself, you can acualy pull him to yourself with the Dragons grasp spell to hit him with your sword, making this fight a whole lot easier. Then theres master of chaos. Hes super hard with super advanced player ai, explosion immunity and godly timing on blocking, but he is apparentley alergic to corners.
Did You Mean The DWARF boss? It Only Needs The Magic Armor. Full Health and Fire Trinket On Armour.
I wish it had part 2. I finished this like 1000s of time already.

In swordigo,you can only go back forth up down,which is 2D
I was referring to it being 2D as you can only move left and right. Graphically it’s a 3D game but gameplay wise it’s still 2D.

And yes you could say they was kinda flexing too but I just think that they mentioned that they completed the game 4 times just because when you complete a game only 1 time you cant remember as well what happened in the game. But if you complete it 3/4/5 times you can remember it better and the nostalgia is yeah also better

I remember this game when online games aren't that well known yet. Me and my classmates, an elementary pupil back then, used to play this. Competing who's the best by defeating bosses and whose far from the start. Until we beat the game. Looking at the graphics now, it surely is different from what I saw back then. Wonder why they didn't continue working this game.

The hidden sword, the portals, tge fucking annoying bats, the parkour you did to get the ice trinklet, the money you needed to get last armour, the last (dark) boss. All of those memories rush in when i see this video. God this game was my childhood.
What about that one puzzle in the World's end keep where you had to avoid magic bolts to get a key and if you get hit by 1 you start the puzzle all over again? That was one of the most painful parts of the game for me personally (I still can't beat it without using a chest glitch) and therefore very memorable

Most of my classmates didn't know how to play these type of games so most of them watch a playthrough at RUclips and I didn't play this game but it was kinda easy to understand and play it when my friend challenged me because they don't know I play LOZ.

I literally just played this a month ago and loved everything about the game. and I actually think it's still the best Zelda like game on mobile (even againts oceanhorn). About 75% done with the game now

Legit I didn't even know about the second to the last sword until I explored the game after killing the main boss. And I only found the thorn when a friend who was playing it too mentioned that I can push the wall. Yeah it's not too obvious that there are other swords except for shop swords and mageblade

I just love the trinket system in this game. It gives you some control over how you fight, although the shadow trinket is just straight up the best one in my opinion
for me its the worst
I use
mageblade : fire trinket
magic armor : shadow trinket
dragon's grasp : ice trinket
tbh shadow is best to be used on armor as there is no healing system beside potions
its realy nice to see someone play one of my favorite childhoodgames

I remember playing Swordigo but sadly i didn't finish it because theirs some other levels are too difficult for me.
Same but I replayed it now and it was way easier beside the physics bug.
This game is not that hard trust me. The "hard" game for me was ChoRenSha or Super Meat Boy. Swordigo is beyond that level of difficulty trust me. It is way easier.

I replayed this yesterday and all the memories came back
Man I TRULY loved to play this game. Specially whel like, whenever we took my grandma to the doctor, and I had to wait with mom in the lobby, I would always play this game, and spent many hours. Despite back then, not knowing english and unable to read, the game still visually sorta explains you what to do, and its simple to do progress without even reading, which I did appreciate back then.
Honestly, I agree this game is a forgotten masterpiece, and tbh, I wish for this game to get more love or idk, maybe a Swordigo 2
