I’ve just found your channel and watched a couple videos - very clear and comprehensive! You’ve started right from the beginning and even shown working with a brand new dog, something many trainers seem to avoid on camera. Would you be able to address what to do with a smaller dog? I’m working with Cavaliers so the point on my leg that is level with their collar is very low! Should I be crouching or bending? Should I be using something to extend my arm? If I need an extension, is there some product you know of that I could use or is there a way to make my own extension? Any help you could give would be really appreciated!
I have a student that has crutches and she uses a really long shoe horn with patte or smeared cream cheese to help motivate her 8 lb Biewer terrier to stay in position beside her. I know having a bad back, not always fun to stoop so low. Gotta love the Cavaliers who really care more about you/people than any treats though, right!?! They tend to make great Therapy and READ dogs, especially if they love kids - just sayin'. Hope that helps.
excellent, thanks for posting, I was wondering how to achieve this! Neat thing to have.
I’m glad the video helps.

I’ll start making videos with my dachshund. You’re the first who has asked for small dog specific instruction. Thank you!!!
