Everyone should boycott every Bears home game for the rest of the season. Surely there must be better ways to spend your sunday than travel into the city to see them lose after 3 hours in the cold.
Ok but how does this help the team? The owners are rich, boycotting wouldn’t effect them in anyway at all. What you’re proposing would only hurt players and the ppl who work at the stadium along with surrounding businesses that require that revenue to survive.
@chiefgangmusic It's not about money or hurting them financially, it's about people not showing up to see a losing product. Are you going to the game to help the people working at the stadium? The players already got paid. Let them see an empty stadium on every sports show and video and clip.
@chiefgangmusic If you're worried about the surrounding businesses then go to the businesses without going and sitting in a stadium with below freezing temperatures to see a losing team for bad owners.
Matt and Laurence are solid interviewers but I can't believe they had Patrick on for like 15 minutes and never asked him about the illegal use of use of pushing and the longsnapper being mauled. Really would have loved to have heard his take.
I was front row in the end zone for the Hail Maryland right where he caught the ball. My heart was broken that day again and it’s only gotten worse since. I’m a 40yr Bears fan and this is the worst it’s ever been because of how much talent is on this team. I’m sick of watching all these coaches having to learn on the job. Get someone who knows what they’re doing in there.
For the last several weeks, we’ve been talking about how there’s no accountability in that organization. So after hearing that critique, Eberflus started coming out and saying “I’m accountable for the loss.” But when pressed on what specifically he’s accountable for, he never knows. Then, when he’s presented with specific mistakes, he still denies they are mistakes. So that tells you about how accountable he really is. It’s all just lip service.
This is probably the first year that we don’t start covering the next opponent until about Thursday or Friday. I remember game previews used to be on Mondays. This coaching is so bad we can’t stop talking about how bad they screwed us in what seems every game.
When Eberflus admitted that he was at fault for calling the wrong defense at the end of the first half (can’t remember the game, but one of the last three games), the media said he shouldn’t have done so. Now they are saying g he should be doing that. Get a grip! There needs to be a podcast/show all about how these podcasters/show hosts perform, with a microscope on each of their predictions, statements, body gestures, and grammar.
4:32 wait a minute. This guy said “it’s coaching 101, it’s coaching 101” but then admits he wasn’t ever thinking of running an extra play there at the end of the game?!?? Bro what?!? Does that not also fall under “CoAChiNG 101” ??? TF
This should be no surprise to people who know Eberflus. His teams have choked and players have quit on him before. He was Defensive Coordinator of the 2021 Colts who had an easy path to the playoffs when they folded and blew their last 2 games including a season ending loss to the 2 - 14 Jaguars which cost them a playoff spot. His pal Alan Williams (fired in Sept 2023) was a defensive assistant on that team.
Patrick is a beast. He knows his stuff. Hope he gets more time as the season wears on. Flus seems too dissociative to be a coach. He acts as if he isn’t integral to what goes on and doesn’t go on the field. Second, while priding himself as one of the brightest men on the field with “trick plays,” good, bright coaches design plug and play schemes that produce reasonably competitive teams for long stretches of time. He doesn’t understand the game in the ways a head coach must understand the game. He might be good at some aspects of defensive coaching, but he is an inadequate generalist.
I was praying this offseason the same boy thing that would change is Eberflus read a book, even one book about situational football.. Maybe he did, then I wish he retained something. His situational football, especially at the end of the game, shows he never did anything of the sort and it’s sorry he didn’t and it affected the game. More egregiously b/c he thinks he earned the Head Coach title and he made it. He’s shown he has Nooooooooooox’s 100 , clue. He’s gotten so bad at these decisions that they should be 🙋 no if he’s betting against his team. Jk, but ??
It's sad, that the average football fan, never played, never coached, but just a fan who understands football and strategy, knows full well that all these little stupid mistakes, especially the not trying to gain extra yards when we have a total of three fumbles on the season, because you're afraid we're going to fumble. That along with all these other nonsense decisions that he makes, is ridiculous. It's football man. He's over here playing checkers and everyone else is playing chess including the fans.
I feel bad for Hightower as well. Also, Cairo for having to settle for the place to kick and not have a choice and blame it on himself. Then later this week say he preferred the right hash. 🤔
Flus is worse than i thought if the special teams coach tells you that he lokes to kick from the eight hash and he made all of his FG from 40 yds and in. I hope brown gets more assertive with the whole team, the players see the dumb moves that cost games.
There’s a reason why they suck in mini camps, there’s a reason why the suck in OTA’s, there’s a reason they suck in situational football. The HC is a literal moron.
It's groundhog day every coaching staff. Since Lovie, who I think sucked, it's the same type of guy, same mistakes each group brought in. Nice guys who go to church with the McCaskey's, sell the team or stop meddling. Why have the Bears not had a former QB to be QB coach, Josh McKown, Chase Daniels, they get people to coach the franchise QB that never really played QB at any high level.
It's the "Care Bears." No one is at fault, no one did anything wrong. They did everything right, except they lost. It's a rudderless ship sailing with good feelings talking about rainbows and unicorns up top, while the sailors are on the verge of a mutiny.
its mind blowing how we keep getting the HC wrong Lets bring Belichick in stop playing games do not bring in someone who was never a HC we been singing that song for so long Warren lets go and FIRE poles cant let that guy hire a HC just cant if we let him do that we are doomed period
Flus was just giving a short answer. In all likelihood he meant that there was no thought, because Cairo already told him where to put it. You guys are reading WAY too much into it.
Flus has to know which side he kicks from. It could have been on Caleb or the OC and Flus is covering for them. He never calls out players when they make mistakes, which is the definition for coaching so is he covering up for them?
The Bears problems start at the very top and always has been , the McCaskeys don't know how to run an NFL franchise!!
Flus had a DC fired and TWO OC’s fired and now he is working on the special teams coach. It’s pathetic! The players are pissed!
DC was fired because he was raided by the FBI
Everyone should boycott every Bears home game for the rest of the season. Surely there must be better ways to spend your sunday than travel into the city to see them lose after 3 hours in the cold.
Sure is. Videogames, spinning some vinyl, vomiting, staring into the sun, shaving back hair, watching old lingerie bowl games on RUclips etc....

@@chiefgangmusic are you serious? It's about sending a message. And if they (the ownership) loses revenue then maybe things will change.

@@larrylapper586 Yes. Solid for 30 years or so.
@ that black guy is like listening to CNN if they did football. All he does is take the most nonsensical negative point of view

Why would he say he made a coaching mistake when he continues to make them? Just asking to be fired
The Misers of the Midway
One would hope Eberflus would listen to this.
If Flus Was to watch this Do you really think it would make a difference
@@2newgrandpa .......no :(
They are too cheap to run a modern NFL organization
Eberlose is a knuckle head. Shame on Bears too cheap to get rid of him after last year.

More evidence why Eberflus will never hire a OC who he feels could be his replacement.
They just need to fire this guy already because there's no point in keeping him. What's the worst that can happen?
Eberflus sounds like a middle manager - managing to not get fired.
There’s a reason why they suck in mini camps, there’s a reason why the suck in OTA’s, there’s a reason they suck in situational football. The HC is a literal moron.
Dave Toub for HC 2025 with Pat as STC!

Eberflus has a trouble with timeouts.
Laurence he will NEVER take accountability it's ALWAYS somebody else and that's one of the MAIN REASONS he needs to go!!!!
Just like Nagy vs the Chargers.
Didn’t Spiegel guarantee a Bears sweep over Packers? Whack job…

Everlose thinks we're still in "tank" mode...he's an idiot
Where do rank eberflus among worst head coaches ever? Not the bears all time coaches the entire NFL. This guy is that bad.
Eberflus is playing checkers while the rest of us are playing chess. It's that clear. He's playing like Peewee football.
I dont wanna play "complimentary" football. I want "winning" football. Just foy him saying that, he should be canned. Imho
Flus post game press conference is always unaccountable on his part ⚠️ so irritable & ugly.
According to MSN670 the issue with the Bears continues to be anyone with white skin despite the players being 99% black.
Either Eberflus is complete egotistical or stupid, or they are paying him to take the fall of their “process”.

Bears suck every frickin year…. Same scheme run ball til 3rd down and throw for 5 yard

That's not true. He still had 35 seconds on the clock plus a timeout.
@@omarescamilla6223 correct. There is no way to cover for that. And it was second down so you had a chance for a spike too.
