Mmmm😮Delicious!!!!! Maybe three or four handmade miniature teardrop bubbles down the roof of the car🤷♂️. Alien spacecraft style lol. Green lexan,😂. I need my own garage clearly. You both inspire me, ingenuity and visions, real love and support.
At first I was thinking you're going to ruin your ride covering the tires. But after I saw the whole vision, WOW. Dude you're stupid crazy, super cool, and a freaking genius.👍👍👍
The progression of this build is blowing my mind... The farther it goes, the more I'm loving it... Ian and Jamie at its best... Love the Santa Pic in Santa Cruz or more in keeping with the theme, Santa Carla...
I really enjoy, all of your cool idea's and the different way's you see things on not only your builds butt the outside of this world on what you use or find to do your extraordinary items for your own out of this world builds. I also like listening to the both of you, talking about what ever comes to your minds. As for the tail lights maybe her idea could work, on mounting them by the tail ligts out a little from the exhaust pipes 1 on each side, kinda like a triangle look. Really like your, RUclips. I have been watching you for many year's now, "GREAT STUFF!" Big Al!
30:20 the tail lights could be on top of the rear fenders like little fins, mimicking the middle of the roof... Really loving watching this build and change, being able to watch your process in real time is so inspiring. Thanks, as ever, for the great content!
So rad ! Great idea, kinda makes me think of the wild japanies bozuko cars with real elaborate fenders and flares. Really coming along in a great direction! Keep it going!🎉
The Jeep body in the back... I just finished a stretched slammed jeep drifter (Custom built RC car). It looks hella mean! Would be cool to see you do something similar! Long and low. I chopped the front fenders off of my build and made aluminum exhaust headers, that come out and flow back like the fenders did. I joined them in two huge long sidepipes that strech all the way to the back wheels. Looks wild!!
A lot of people think Ian's ideals are crazy at first but I would trust him to do my car more than anybody else because everything he has made is turned out beautiful I think Ian's crazy ideas is what sets him apart from any other car builder and that's one of the reasons why Victor comes and has Ian build his cars because of his crazy ideals and because Victor knows with his crazy ideals that Ian can make them work I think Ian's level of car building is up there with the legends of car builders
Way kool, totally different it's Ian and definitely you who else would visualize that design .I like that double size door and please use your christmas tunnel lights. You both are interesting to listen to plus your car kultur people.
The tip of the rear fender “arrowhead” reminds me of the black spade ♠️ shape in a deck of playing cards. Heart ❤️ shape rear windows. That leaves ♦️. And clubs. Hee Hee
Ya again you surprise me! 1st thought thats dumb then as it progressed it grew on me and really like the weirdness it works. I learned my lesson dont judge till it is further along lol. Love your creativity, its what sets you apart.
Sound is glorious! Well done. That rear fender looks cool, but will suck up dirt and air unless you port it in the back. I love the bug project. You can change it for another year and I'll watch. And yeah, this is one of the better episodes.
Always a pleasure watching you do you magic! BTW the mics are great finally can hear you guys without putting my TV volume all the up also I like the way you interact with each other it keeps it from not being a tutorial. You guys are both funny!
6:40 I use angle grinders alot at work. When the discs for my big anglegrinder is worn down I take them home and use them for my small angle grinder I use for my RC builds. I made an adaptor so I can use the discks with bigger centerholes than the ones that fit my small ginder.... basicly 3 washers with the middle one being the exact diameter of the hole in the cutting disc and also a tad bit thinner, so the two outer discs squeeze the cutting disc. Works like a charm and I have stockpiles of free discs... :D
Exactly what I was about to say in the coments, showing a little bit of the rear tyres would look better and maybe Ian can make vents like on the 1970's Manta Mirage kit cars. This wild custom of Ian's has the same vibes and styling cues.
Good morning, to the both or you. I wanted to let you know Ian my wife and I have been watching you Ian for many years. We both were talking this morning it is so cool to have Jamie with you on your builds. Melinda is not only my wife she has been my best friend now for 37 years. I got her interested with vehicles years ago, and she really likes helping and working with me on all of them. I have a been in terested in cars and trucks every since I was a little boy. So keep it up the two of you we love what you are doing! Have a great day! Big Al.
Hi Ian, I love your vision and content. If you intend to drive it, it's going to need some ground clearance when suspension compresses. Or if you're going to show it and it's getting transported all over the place with different companies, you will need some extra clearance behind the tyre for angle transition. Keep doing your passion and i'll keep watching. Cheers Rick from Adelaide. Australia.
Definitely looks cool. A light strip or several worked in to it would be really cool..kinda like some of the "exotic supercars". Then bring the up sweep across the top like a spoiler and again at the bottom. Then some kind of diffuser in the middle and tie in a splitter across the front... the whole thing flows very nicely front to rear. Exotic, attitude and fast..
It’s amazing how much the adjustments to the rear fender in this episode make to the side profile. I love it! Keep up the great work Ian!
These mics are really good. Thanks for that. It’s nice to hear you both better.
Yall are fun to listen to.
Glad you like the new mics! We are happy with them too! Thanks! 👽👽
Loving the rear fender treatment. How about that mad rear light above the two exhaust visually making it a three stack?
That was my thought as well! In fact I clicked on comments to add that theory when I saw someone else already said it. Cheers!
Smart idea.
Just so👍
I really like that idea! Dan from Oregon
I was thinking the same thing... but... we all know Ian... just saying...
parabéns meu irmão, gratidão pelo conteúdo pois me inspira muita a ser criativo 🌲🌴🌻
That is definitely a new design! Cool!
I love how you let us into the creative process and what you’re thinking. No BS and drama, so perfect for YT.
I have to say, I am not sold on this fender yet but, God I love the freedom of car customization! I cannot wait to see the evolution of this fender.
I love that infill on the rear fender, sound is much better with the new mics as well - cheers!
just became a paid sub today love you both you our such inspiration to your viewers Thank You
Thanks so much for joining! We won’t let you down!
Thanks for the much clearer sound 👍👏👏
This is why people love your work. It's always a roller-coaster ride of a build 😮
Digging the slab side look. Reminds me of the can am race cars with the tires fully encased.
Ian is DEFINITELY A MASTER CRAFTSMAN. He is more talented than he gives himself credit for. 😮
humble people are the most creative
You guys are great, please don't stop your loving one other on the show, it works so well!
👽👽♥️

Thanks! We love the support! It means a lot!
Thanks for bringing me along . 💥💯 Didn't like the rear fender treatment at first.. but now I'm seeing Ian's vision come through! ❤

Definitely different, guna look cool ,thanks for sharing, all the best to yous and your loved ones
Bloody love it. Has an element of CanAm race cars to it.
Thank you for shearing!

Very cool treatment on the fenders!

Really loving watching this build and change, being able to watch your process in real time is so inspiring. Thanks, as ever, for the great content!
Great tunes! Just when I thought the Love Bug headlights were the last steam of art, you go and make a wild rear end.
I wasn't sure at first but as i seen it come together I'm digging that rear fender.
One of the best episodes yet! The creative process changing on the fly.
Great improvement with the rear fender. Awesome job Ian and great camera work Jamie.
👽👽
Very cool, reminds me of the Lemans race cars.
So rad ! Great idea, kinda makes me think of the wild japanies bozuko cars with real elaborate fenders and flares. Really coming along in a great direction! Keep it going!🎉
The audio is waaay improved! Thank you.
Dan from Oregon.
We've been working on it! Thanks for noticing.
This thing is awesome!!!!!! Love the change to the tail end. And the hart lights are wild! And great
I like the tire enclosed .😊
Agreed! Somehow looks tougher and faster 😂
Cool look from the back
LOVE that rear fender ! keep that vibe of weird going Ian ! makes you the unique fabricator that you are.
Ian, always with the best Tunes thanks.
It's sort of a cross between surf music and The Munsters.
Great episode as usual 😊
Glad you enjoyed it
I'm ready to see finished and painted!
WOW! those fenders will be COOL!
This project is SO freaking cool guys 🤠 I think it might end up being your best so far Ian!(And that's saying something!)✌️💙🤙
The Jeep body in the back... I just finished a stretched slammed jeep drifter (Custom built RC car). It looks hella mean! Would be cool to see you do something similar! Long and low.

Love this project. This is exactly how my brain works!! It could look killer if that lip was all the way across almost like a built in spoiler.
From the right angle, with a bit of a squint, that rear arch treatment gives Porsche 935 vibes. Nice job!
Way kool, totally different it's Ian and definitely you who else would visualize that design .I like that double size door and please use your christmas tunnel lights. You both are interesting to listen to plus your car kultur people.
Like how he went with my idea for the tail lights 👍
LOVE IT!!!! develop away CHEERS (sorry 2 comments this vid but I had too. AWESOME)
Glad you are enjoying it!
Love the vision! Like a tear drop 💧. That's a good idea
The back of the car just reminds me of the face of a Sleestak from Land of the Lost movie......so funny. Nice work.
Im diggin it, you got a great eye.. car is badass
The tip of the rear fender “arrowhead” reminds me of the black spade ♠️ shape in a deck of playing cards. Heart ❤️ shape rear windows. That leaves ♦️. And clubs. Hee Hee

most works in progress look odd until completed
We like to think outside the box!
Sound is glorious! Well done. That rear fender looks cool, but will suck up dirt and air unless you port it in the back.
I love the bug project. You can change it for another year and I'll watch. And yeah, this is one of the better episodes.
This is absolutely incredible. I want this car…bad.
Looking good 🙂👍
Hey guys 🤗 great to see more of the VW 😊I hope you guys are doing well 😅
Always a pleasure watching you do you magic! BTW the mics are great finally can hear you guys without putting my TV volume all the up also I like the way you interact with each other it keeps it from not being a tutorial. You guys are both funny!
The back end reminds me of the old CanAm race cars. Very cool design feature!

Wow that’s RAD ! Please show those wide tires maybe 3-4 inch from the ground. Can’t wait to see more 👌🏻👍🏻🙏🏻😃😎
I think it would be perfect half way down the tire . It would make it easier to access the tire . It looks cool guys thank you for bringing us along
Exactly what I was about to say in the coments, showing a little bit of the rear tyres would look better and maybe Ian can make vents like on the 1970's Manta Mirage kit cars. This wild custom of Ian's has the same vibes and styling cues.
I think the audio quality is excellent and the latest developments on the fenders😮 yeah baby! brought the excitement back😅
Looking great ! A lot of work ! This is going to be some special show car !

Such a fun build!
Wild! Always amazing. 😊
awesome !
I dig the weird! You’re onto something!
Sound is perfecto😊
love that rear fender wrap, you need to wrap the front side wheel with the same flip point but down at ground level
Ian and Jaime, will you bring this to Vegas so I can touch it. The shape is just 😍

Coming along nicely Ian and Jamie you and your girls look like you had a good time
Not your average Beetle! Looks weirdly good. I like it!
