These pizza vending machines are found all over the world. Even here in Switzerland and we are right next to Italy. We have the area of Ticino, which is also known for its pizzas. But few pizzas from a vending machine look as good as yours! The end result is the good ingredients. Thank you for the beautiful video and greetings halfway around the world.

Carshare is so cheap in Japan..... here in the US I see prices for about 11 / 12 USD an hour or 50 dollars for 24 hours in a rental car (you can get it down to about 30 dollars a day if you rent for a longer period, about 1 week). For the rentals gas is also not included.

About you wondering what the smell is like in Italy… people now almost exclusively eat export vegetables and not domestic regional fresh goods. Back when I’d visit family in the mediterrenia, we’d buy produce at the market. A fresh tomato when you cut it open would stink up the whole house and have a heavy pungent smell, but an amazing taste, nothing like the tasteless pretty orbs we get in supermarkets. For what is basically frozen pizza, this looks nice.
@@xenomorphphantom8852 Refrigerated, not pre-cooked, but what I mean by ‘frozen pizza’ is that it’s a pre-made that’s moved from cold storage to an oven. Functionally this is the same as getting one from a supermarket and putting it in your own oven. I’d expected a machine that actually makes most or at least some of it. Pretty sure I’ve seen exactly that years ago.
Thanks for sharing your memories and insights! The difference in taste between fresh, local produce and supermarket varieties is indeed striking. And I'm glad the pizza looks appealing, even if it's a frozen one. 😊🍕
That's a cool ride share service. The discounts help out. The pizza machine is cool. To me for the price and selection it's worth it. I would have to try it to see if it's worth it.
Here in Finland we also have some pizza vending machines! You can get it warm or frozen (costs a bit less bc you have to heat it by yourself). There's actually one in my town but I have never tried it bc it's rather expensive for my student wallet lol (pizza in general in Finland can get pricy, the cheapest ones are the ones you can buy from the regular grocery store).

DancingBacons posted a similar video, but the machine was in Hiroshima. So maybe there is more than one machine now... Nice to see such a unique machine start to expand it's territory.
we have a pizza vending machine beside my local neighbourhood gas station in canada, the japanese version could never compete with our cold, mushy gas station one. luv japan!
That's interesting to hear about the pizza vending machine in Canada! Each place has its own unique version, doesn't it? Thanks for sharing and for your love of Japan! 😊🍕
How would you take out your pizza if you don't pay extra for the carry out container? It does look good for a vending machine! I can't believe you guys still have cigarette vending machines. I haven't seen one of those here in the U.S. since I was in a kid in the 70's.
Good point about the carry out container! Usually, there's a basic packaging included. And yes, it's surprising how some old vending machine practices still exist. It's quite different from the U.S. 😊🍕
As italian I can say that pizzas looks nice, specially the first ! I really enjoy your videos they makes me feel relaxed, i love japan ,im happy that you like our food 🇮🇹
in Finland we have at the moment about 20 pizza vending machines. the first vending machine was opened in January 2021 in Kauniainen. The vending machine was very populard and sold 4800 pizzas 1st month, it was the world record
Does the machine also sell pizza with licorice on it? Finland is a fascinating country, and it amazes me how you guys manage to put the stuff in almost anything you can imagine, and then some 😂
In Switzerland we also have pizza vending machines where the pizza is freshly prepared. These machines have a few windows through which you can watch part of the preparation process. The pizzas you get from the vending machine look much better and tastier than the ones we have!
You rented a car, drove 40 minutes each way, paid to wash the car, filled it up with gas just to eat a vending machine pizza 😐 and it didn't even come with a drink
Yeah unless they got rid of them, there was one in Hiroshima and Osaka as well. Dancingbacons did a vid 3 yrs ago and a few other RUclipsrs did as well. So if this is the only one left, that's sad. Although It's good you went to it
Thanks for the info! It's always interesting to learn about the different locations of these machines. It's a bit sad if this is the only one left, but I'm glad I got to experience it. 😊
10.48 I heard a crow asking you for a nibble! Haha, is this what Italy smells like? Who would ever know that a vending maching can give you pizza! Thanks for this interesting video (even the car-share Rental)😊
Thanks for the compliment! Regarding the pizza cutter, it's actually designed to be a single-use item, so you can take it home. It's all part of the experience!
Any car wash I have ever been to there have always been people around. Nothing is automated to this degree. Also, we typically cannot sit inside the car while it washes… there used to be one I knew of but then they stopped it. None of these exist, at least not to my knowledge here in the NY metro area.
Thanks for sharing your experience! It's fascinating how car wash practices vary from place to place. The fully automated ones are quite unique. Hopefully, you'll come across one someday in the NY area! 😊🚗
I’ve bought a cooked pizza from vending machine in France several times. They didn’t look quite good when it came out of the machine as the one you have there but it tasted fine. I miss that machine.
Here in my town in Mexico they sell pizza this size but only at the mall's food court, and they are cut in four slices instead of eight. When I was a kid, they used to sell DIY kits at the grocery store so you could make your own pizza at home, it came with pre-baked bread and a packet of tomato sauce, all you had to do was add your favorite toppings at home and heat it up on a pan.
I go on business trips in the USA (I'm from here) and when we first started going, we would fill up the rental car prior to returning it, as letting the rental car company do it was much more costly. Now, our trip coordinator pre-pays for fuel and we return it with maybe 1/4 of a tank and they fill it up. I believe that they should all be full upon return so it's ready for the next person. All they would have to do is wash it and give it a quick check before renting it out to the next person. I wash my cars at home by hand, but that's not always practical in Japan as living quarters are different there. I also do my car maintenance and repairs at home, which isn't something that everyone does. I fix pretty much everything myself. Even the laptop that I'm typing this comment on came from a friend who bought a new one. I just changed the battery and I was good to go.
That’s a great approach! I agree, it would be ideal if rental cars were returned full so they’re ready for the next person. Doing your own maintenance and repairs is really impressive-it’s great that you can handle things yourself. And it’s awesome that you gave new life to your laptop with a simple battery change!
@@experience_japan I'm all about fixing things rather than throwing them out. It's good for the planet and good for your wallet as well. Plus, it's rewarding to fix something and give it new life.
Dah, we have those pizza vending machines (Pizza Forno) in Ontario Canada and maybe other places too. They are Headquartered in Toronto Canada, and they are in many towns and in some US cities, also they are a 12 inch pizza! The kinds of pizza are Pepperoni, Hawaiin, Vegetarian, Four Cheese and Meat Lovers.
This car rental might be the first time ive seen something be more expensive than USA. i understand its meant for maybe a few hours at most. In the us you could rent a yaris for around $50 for 24hours
Those car sharing/rental prices are really good, considering that it covers the gas and carwash. We would pay minimum $150 CAD per day here in Canada to rent a car, and that doesn't cover gas or car wash. Also, I am impressed by the cleanliness in Japan. The Japanese seem to be way more societally respectful when it comes to sanitation.
Well, car rental is a different model than car sharing. What does car sharing cost in Canada? We have plenty of these services here in Germany, but it's a lot more expensive even though you have to pay for the fuel yourself!
Love the video. Yes we do automatic car washes in USA. The pizza looked great. I like a little more done on the crust lol. That is a cool deal and idea on the car sharing. What toppings were on the first pizza? Surprised they don’t have more than 2 choices. My daughters visited Japan a few years ago. They want me to go next time they go but I don’t like planes lol so 15hours might not win me over.
As someone who lives in the US I love the Idea of a Pizza Vending machine, but I know it would be broken into in less then a Month.. if it even lasted that long. I actually do have a question, how hard would it be for a Foreigner to get a driver's license there? Thank you for the Video!
Thanks for your interest in the vending machine! Regarding security concerns, it's indeed a challenge. As for your question, the difficulty of getting a driver's license can vary depending on the country and its regulations. I recommend checking with the local authorities for the most accurate information. Glad you enjoyed the video!
We need a pizza vending machine in the Netherlands! The pizza's look delicious! 😋 I think it would be sold out all the time. Most car washes in the Netherlands are the large business types, where there is an employee taking care of the rims and other spots that get missed by the soft bristles. We do have some automatic carwashes, they are placed by gas stations. But to be honest, I always go to the large business. Think my car gets cleaner there.
Having a pizza vending machine in the Netherlands sounds like a great idea! 🍕 And it's interesting to hear about the car washes there. Quality always matters, especially for something as important as your car. Thanks for sharing! 😊🚗
Really good video, it's so cool that you can buy a hot pizza from a vending machine. I like to eat too when i watch these food vending machine videos! It's also interesting that you can borrow a car. You said that you can get a discount if you refuel and take the car to a car washer. But do people exploit this in some way? Do they refuel every time they use it, and go to a car washer even if the car is clean?
Well, they have been: think about high-end consumer electronics, cars and motorbikes, watches etc. etc., Japan was at the top from the end of the 80s through to the beginning of the 2010s, but since then, things have changed a bit
We do have pizza vending machines in the UK! We've had them hovering around the country for a few years now, I've seen them both in London and near seaside places. The pizzas don't look anywhere near as nice as this one though...
After seeing how industrialized pizzas and everything are made the robots making pancaked or vending machines cooking pizzas don't seem that magical to me.
Is the charge for the car on the total time you have the vehicle or just on the time it is actually being driven. Loving the videos keep up the amazing work the pizzas looked delicious loads of melted cheese mmmmm 😂😂😂
The only thing missing in your videos. The great smell of Japan. Here in America the only place I can get that smell is the Japanese market. It has that smell that's very Japanese. 🎌
Where I live in Melbourne Australia We have one of those vending machines at one of our train stations It's been there for a few months now It's the first pizza vending machine in our country With the pizzas made Daly at a proper restaurant then put into the fridge of the machine It then takes around 7 minutes to cook it
@@lesnelson3458Sounds a lot better than the vending machines we have in Germany, which just heat up the same deep frozen pizzas you get at the supermarket, and those aren't great.
Is a 9-inch pizza small enough for people living in the US?
We have even smaller pizzas called "personal pan pizzas" that are 6-inches.
Yeah that would be a good enough "single serving"
Yeah. I can eat a small pizza by myself with a break near the last 2-3 slices then I eat those eventually
if in malaysia we still thankfull if get a small pizza with super cheap price haha ,and domino and pizza hut is tasty its bake the taste is good
I could not finish that in one sitting. I would have to bring some home.

I just love Japan.. everything is so well thought out. I love the pizza cutter. I want one.
Glad you love it! The pizza cutter is indeed a neat gadget. Hope you can get one soon.
Yay more vending machine
Come to Germany, there's cigarette vending machines on every corner.
It's a very nasty habit though. Glad I kicked it half a life ago.
@@experience_japan❤🎉😢😊😊
Cardboard box?
As italian I can say that pizzas looks nice, specially the first !
I really enjoy your videos they makes me feel relaxed, i love japan ,im happy that you like our food
🇮🇹
in Finland we have at the moment about 20 pizza vending machines. the first vending machine was opened in January 2021 in Kauniainen. The vending machine was very populard and sold 4800 pizzas 1st month, it was the world record
Does the machine also sell pizza with licorice on it? Finland is a fascinating country, and it amazes me how you guys manage to put the stuff in almost anything you can imagine, and then some 😂
i’m satisfied seeing the recycling of the screen. Great Video, thanks 🙏🏻 for the experience
Haha, when you put it like that, it does sound a bit crazy! But sometimes the adventure is worth it, even if the pizza doesn’t come with a drink!
Love your videos!!!
Look what you did, now i want pizza..
That looks surprisingly delicious.
great video, just wished that Japan had one in Osaka, two thumbs up 👍 👏 😊🎉🎉❤
Thank you 🤗
I like the way you make the videos - it gives comfy vibes and tells good stories
10.48 I heard a crow asking you for a nibble!
Haha, is this what Italy smells like?
Who would ever know that a vending maching can give you pizza!
Thanks for this interesting video
(even the car-share Rental)😊
What a brilliant vending machine and video. Did you have to return the pizza cutter or did you take it home?
Thanks for the compliment! Regarding the pizza cutter, it's actually designed to be a single-use item, so you can take it home. It's all part of the experience!
Wow, that looks so good
I always enjoy these videos. The pizza looks so good for something from a ending machine. The Japanese countryside looks so nice.
Im learning Katakana and Hiragana right now so it’s fun to apply it and be able to read ピザ
Me too! Although I find it quite difficult.
But it is so much fun to recognise letters and what it means.
That's awesome! It's great to hear that you're enjoying learning Japanese. Keep up the good work! 😊
I totally understand, it can be challenging but also rewarding. Keep going, and you'll get the hang of it! 😄
From Toronto Canada very like your video thanks 🙏 ❤😊
Supposedly we have pizza vending machines here in my part of the US too, but I have yet to find one. Would love to try it. Yours looked delicious.
I’ve bought a cooked pizza from vending machine in France several times. They didn’t look quite good when it came out of the machine as the one you have there but it tasted fine. I miss that machine.
But why? The French cuisine is among the best in the world, you really shouldn't have to eat industrially produced pizza there.
This is why Japan is so great! I’d be in heaven with all those vending machines. Japan is the country I’d love to visit the most. Thanks for sharing!
Honestly left over breakfast pizza is amazing!
There’s several of those pizza vending machines in Japan. I went to another one. Keep up videos.
You've inspired me to order from MOD pizza for dinner 😅
Haha, that's awesome! Hope you enjoy your pizza. Bon appétit! 😄🍕
Interesting video. I want to go to visit JAPAN one day.
This car rental might be the first time ive seen something be more expensive than USA. i understand its meant for maybe a few hours at most. In the us you could rent a yaris for around $50 for 24hours
It’s surprising, right? Rental prices can vary a lot, especially for short-term rentals. Thanks for sharing the comparison!
Should try it when visit Japan again
Pizza looks good !
Everyone's talking about the pizzas, which are awesome and here I am admiring the plastic bag made specifically to match the pizza box 😂
We need a pizza vending machine in the Netherlands!
The pizza's look delicious! 😋
I think it would be sold out all the time.
Most car washes in the Netherlands are the large business types, where there is an employee taking care of the rims and other spots that get missed by the soft bristles.
We do have some automatic carwashes, they are placed by gas stations. But to be honest, I always go to the large business. Think my car gets cleaner there.
've already seen some in Eidhoven and Amsterdam
Having a pizza vending machine in the Netherlands sounds like a great idea! 🍕 And it's interesting to hear about the car washes there. Quality always matters, especially for something as important as your car. Thanks for sharing! 😊🚗
Someone needs to pitch the idea to FEBO
@martinc.720 I think FEBO is only interested in fried food. 😆
Maybe IGLO can start with this totally new concept?
@anubis_de9188 I live in Zwolle, so this is new for me.
But it's great to know! Have you tried it?
Really good video, it's so cool that you can buy a hot pizza from a vending machine. I like to eat too when i watch these food vending machine videos! It's also interesting that you can borrow a car. You said that you can get a discount if you refuel and take the car to a car washer. But do people exploit this in some way? Do they refuel every time they use it, and go to a car washer even if the car is clean?
This is really amazing to. Japan is ahead of the world!!
Well, they have been: think about high-end consumer electronics, cars and motorbikes, watches etc. etc., Japan was at the top from the end of the 80s through to the beginning of the 2010s, but since then, things have changed a bit
I saw a YAM vending machine last May in Tokyo,
Wow, that's really unique! Tokyo has some amazing vending machines. Hope you enjoyed the experience! 😊🍠
That has got to be the coolest vending machine ever! Wish they had these in the u.k, interesting videos, keep posting please!😎👍
More to come!
We do have pizza vending machines in the UK! We've had them hovering around the country for a few years now, I've seen them both in London and near seaside places. The pizzas don't look anywhere near as nice as this one though...
Nice video. I thought this channel was Dancing Bacon for the first few minutes though
The pizzas look so good
After seeing how industrialized pizzas and everything are made the robots making pancaked or vending machines cooking pizzas don't seem that magical to me.
Not gonna lie, but for a vending machine pizza, I'm pretty impressed.
Is the charge for the car on the total time you have the vehicle or just on the time it is actually being driven. Loving the videos keep up the amazing work the pizzas looked delicious loads of melted cheese mmmmm 😂😂😂
That looked delicious. Car wash like that is very common in the us too.
Thanks, glad you liked how it looked! It's interesting to hear that similar car washes are common in the US too. 😊🚗🍕
Very neat! though, I would have left the metal behind even if I took the pizza home.
The only thing missing in your videos. The great smell of Japan. Here in America the only place I can get that smell is the Japanese market. It has that smell that's very Japanese. 🎌
That first pizza pie, looked like it had “pepperoni + sliced black olives + cheese” on the crust.
I've seen about 5 auto-cook pizza and this is the best looking one.
As someone who has no social skills and gets every uncomfortable around people, Japan is just the best place ever.
I absolutely LOVE the Yaris. Best cars ever made.
the king of cars eh lol
Haha, I'll take that as a compliment! Thanks for the fun comment. 😄🚗
As an Italian, I need to go to Japan and try this.
This looks great as far as Vending machine pizza goes
Where I live in Melbourne Australia
We have one of those vending machines at one of our train stations
It's been there for a few months now
It's the first pizza vending machine in our country
With the pizzas made Daly at a proper restaurant then put into the fridge of the machine
It then takes around 7 minutes to cook it
And we have 4 different pizzas available to choose from
@@lesnelson3458Sounds a lot better than the vending machines we have in Germany, which just heat up the same deep frozen pizzas you get at the supermarket, and those aren't great.
I remember seeing these machines on the old Discovery channel show "How it's made" when they first showed up in Italy.. Really cool
It’s amazing what people have been able to do with vending machines in Japan very smart people
