In Massachusetts stores legally have to close on Thanksgiving. But somehow McDonalds and the movie theater get around that rule. But for the most part people in retail have Thanksgiving off. Sad to hear not all states mandate the same. Growing up my dad always worked some holidays as he is a retired corrections officer, so definitely appreciate those that must work !! When my sister and I began to get older my dad would offer to work some or more family friendly shifts on holidays to allow those with young kids to have time with their family as others did for him before.
I agree with Larry about the Sound of Music song being not a Christmas song! It has one line in it about “brown paper packages tied up with string” but otherwise it’s not a Christmas song!
I’m 27 and have some adult acne, but it’s finally started to settle down and I just wanted to remark on how beautiful and radiant your skin looks! I know your suffered through some skin issues also, so it’s looks what you have been doing is paying off!

Growing up it was always and still is a tradition to wake up drink coffee or milk or juice whatever is preferred and watch the Macy’s Day Parade I know I’m late lol but school totally takes over my life lol!
LOL I had to laugh when you said "I know him!" when Santa came on at the end of the parade. I did the exact same thing at my sisters house. ;) Happy Thanksgiving!!!!
Unexpectedly, we lost my dad this week. I don’t think I’ll ever heal the hole left in my heart by his departure from earth. I appreciate your kind words about parents. I want to be like “oh, holidays will suck now” but I also had a baby this year. Time for new traditions with her. ❤️
I'm very sorry for your loss. I also lost my dad unexpectedly November 3rd and I still wake up every day praying it was just a nightmare. I know the holidays are hard, my Dad already had all the grandkids presents wrapped & ready including my son- first grandson and also named after him.
Wish I had the words to say but know he's looking down with a smile, and as much as I wanna hate the holidays this year... I just remind myself that my Dad wouldn't have wanted that. He always only wanted health and happiness for me, always. I'm sure your dad felt the same way.

I use that same blush from tarte and it's my favorite high-end. A good inexpensive blush that I like is pearlescent Pink by Wet and Wild. It's warm toned and it has a little bit of shimmer in it already, it's really flattering and gives your skin a nice healthy look 😊

I like watching the Macy’s Thanksgiving day parade too but I don’t usually get to watch it because I’m busy cooking or getting ready for the day. This time I put it on in the background and was able to watch almost half of it.
I agree with Larry that “Favorite Things” is not a Christmas song. I think they just do that because it talks about snowflakes, winter, mittens, and packages tied up with string. The song that really bugs me is “Linus and Lucy”. Just because it is in the peanuts Christmas movie does not make it a Christmas song at all!

I just got around to watching today's vlog👏 I'm so thankful to have you and your family sharing your lives with us. I had seen your picture with your parents on Instagram and I couldn't wait for this vlog. In 3 years I've lost my parents and my brother 😢 it's hard but I'm blessed to have my husband, our children and 3 siblings left with many nieces and nephews 💕 I'm always grateful but Thanksgiving makes me really stop and think about what's most important in life.
