    Those leather strips hanging from the belt are referred to as Cingulum, they're a common adornment for Ultramarines and their successor chapters (because the Ultramarines have a "space Roman" aesthetic, and "pteruges", the proper name for that same style of hanging leather strip connected to upper body armor, were an element of Greco-Roman period armor design).
    That "amulet" hanging from the belt of the Company Champion is the emblem of the Indomitus Crusade, and it being worked somewhere into the armor of a marine (typically on the wrist armor, or suspended from the belt) indicates that the marine in question is a veteran of that crusade.

      Excellent input as usual Brother Matthew. I will endeavor to put your teachings in my videos going forward. As I have told you before, accuracy is important to me so thanks again for the continued education

    Seeing a figure like this makes me regret to buyed so many ultramarines before. Its damn cool and complex. Again, very nice twist on the review at adding the comparison section, its great. JT is making so many great figures that it is dificult, not to mention imposible, to get all of them. The sellection process is very important actually and your reviews are gold.
    Nice work again brother Sprues and thanks a lot!

      I'll admit to you, UM are not exactly my favorite chapter. They remain the poster boys of GW so they get the most attention compared to the rest of the chapters. I collect the UM mainly because of my channel and they get the most variants of figures.
      If I did not have the channel, then I would have to say I'd buy 50% less UM action figures. I'm just thankful that I have a job that can support this hobby of mine

    Hey man thanks for making these review videos I’m new to collecting the 40k joytoy figs I have about 13 so far but yeah you’re now my go-to when I don’t know what to watch

      Haha! Same here! I've been collecting 40k figures for several months now and have quite a few in my collection (though nothing super impressive). Sprues N Studs is certainly my go-to when it comes to these figures.

    If no one has mentioned it yet the Chapter Champion (and all the new UM Honor Guard) is a firstborn marine, not primaris.
    Why Joytoy made them the same size, who knows?

      Yup, you are correct on that one. I am also not sure why there is no size difference but I think that GW is blending everything together now with the release of revamped Terminators as well as Sternguard Vets

      Hi. These have already gone through the transformation! They have already become Intercessors... At least that's how it should be perceived!

    Can someone explain what the white rag looking thing is on the inside of his right shoulder?

    all that purity seals on his chest...... will protect all and any attack against him! not so sure about other body parts that don't have any purity seals on though.

      @SpruesNStuds  Год назад +1

      Haha, I would like to think that all the purity seals would extend their protection to the unadorned parts of the figure

      Yeah there is a ton of details on this action figure. It is quite impressive that JT can cram that much on one figure.

    Вы не могли понять, что у него на цепочке поясной. Это знак терминатус, привилегия носить терминаторскую броню
