Is there an upgrade of this sort which doesn't result in the loss of Sirius XM? I would like to keep all of my pre-existing features, especially those with which I keep a subscription. Thanks.
All in all an excellent video. The only clarification I would make is to extend your brief description at the end of the video when installing the unit back into the car. Describe how you should remove the 1-2 optical connection pin(s) that are seated in their own sub cradle/bracket in the car loom's large square mounting (this would normally plug into the new male Isudar connection) and plug the optic connection mini cradle/bracket into the new isudar square port that will be connected to the back of the PCM unit. Also the colour of the optic cables may differ from the video (the BOSE ones in my 991 were orange rather than green).
Great video. Question though, does the module use factory microphone or is a separate mic required for siri/ google assistant? Also, what the audio quality like, I've hear some say that there is a notice drop in audio quality?
No sound. I have no sound out of the original unit, nor in CarPlay. All other functions seem to be working. At the 7:00 min mark you mention that green wires need to be moved or you won't get any sound. Moved where and how? I am at a loss. Everything working but no sound out of the unit. I could use your help.
From the video it looks like he meant to say "move it to the other harness". I would suggest looking further into all of the instructions provided & looking at the providers website.
Hello, nice manual , but after removal of SiriusXM module i Lost also FM radio ( i can catch radiostations but no sound, all the other sources work - carplay/dvd/aux). How I can overcome this? Any SW updates?

Do you provide this as a service if I don’t want to tackle the installation?

I live in Canada and when I click on the link to buy the kit it quotes me almost $600 USD. where did you get the kit from?
does the original porsche navigation still work with this install ?
Would this work on a 2015 panamera?
everything ive read says you can keep sirius installed and install on top of it. did you remove it by choice?
no space. I tried to it too, but it the new card touches the sirius...it sucks.
The GTA CarPlay kit has longer spacers. Would that help? Not the sucking part but clear the xm board? Looking at this kit and that one too
What about the green wire at the end?
