YES!!!! The Dr. Bag bro. I got one after I saw Griffon Conway using them. The only thing I'm not thrilled with is that the bag is a bit stiff. I'm sure over time it will break-in.
Best type of bag for the FX6. I use the Tenba Cinelux 21 high top. It’s bigger and heavier though so kind of hard to walk around a lot with it. Just can’t beat pulling up on set and having the whole camera ready to go though, completely worth it.
I have the Dr. Bag 5 which is way overkill for my just my FX6, but for those occasions when I need to carry it along with my B, C and D cams (a7sIII and IVs) plus lenses and accessories, it's a perfect fit.
"doctor" cause it's shaped like a doctor's bag from WAY back in the day.....way before your time. 😁 i don't have an fx6 (wish i did) but i do have 2 a7siii. i was trying to figure out a case solution for both cams fully rigged out. i didn't want to pay $$$$ for a pelican, so i went w/ a husky rolling tool box. i bought a husky kneeling pad for the sides and to separate the 2 cams. i also bought a husky small parts organizer that connects directly onto the rolling box. everything came out to less than $100 and has served me very well. i don't have to spend a lot of time putting my gear together (cams, lenses, monitors, top & side handles, v-mounts, cables).
I had the older version of this bag without LED Lighting for my Fs5 but sold it with the camera. Its a great bag in that it opens like an old school doctors bag so you can see what's in there without the top closing on you. The upside is it provides excellent protection for the camera , the downside is it adds quite a bit of weight. Just my tuppence worth I will probably buy another one for the FX6.
Kofi. Thanks for reviewing this bag. Which size are you illustrating in this review? The 17”, 22”, or 25”. I’m trying to hit purchase on this ASAP. Thanks. Really appreciate your videos on FX6!!
Love this! Got a a7iii for xmas and have ALL the cage/rig extras on the way. Was looking for something that i dont have to keep tearing down the rig. Subbed🤙
I have this Sachtler Dr Bag 3 and I used to put my C100 mk2 in it but now I use it. for my Sony PXW-Z200 (similar in size to an FX6) and one FX30 and some lenses but I want something bigger...I know that bigger means more weight but I have my eyes on a Shape Camera Bag or a Tenba Cineluxe 24 which is really big. I'm not sure the SHape is much bigger than the Dr bag...but I wonder in terms of functionality and how easy is to get gear out of the bag etc which one would be better. Just wondering if you have come across those bags. Thanks
I bought the Sachtler Dr.3 bag during boxing week but found that the inner lining of the bag which the protective inserts attach to, isn't glued to the walls of the bag, letting the inserts and camera flop around if it isn't packed tightly. This seems like a really obvious design flaw for a protective camera bag, so I'm wondering if mine has a production flaw. Is your bag like that toot? It just doesn't make sense that the material wouldn't be glued to the bag to make the protection as ridged as possible. Even the cheapest Lowepro camera bag has the material glued in.
Would this bag and setup be considered small enough to take on as a carry-on for traveling? I have a similar setup and would love to go this route as an option.
What’s the height of a rigged fx6 with top handle and external monitor (flattened) ? My FX3 is about 30 cm … would never fit in this bag without removing the handle .. is the fx6 smaller? How could that be?
Thanx for sharing! Been looking for a DR Bag and that one looks really nice. Do you think the FX6 would fit with the 70-200 GM II and matte box? Or is it a good idea to go for the bigger size?
I’m 0 for 2 on XLR to 3.5mm adapters when trying to connect the DJI Mic to my FX6. Is there an in camera setting I need to change? Else I’m just unlucky with the two adapters I bought 🤷🏻♂️
@@KofiYeboah Solved! Needed to change two in-camera audio settings: Audio input > CH1 input select > INPUT1 (was default set to internal mic) Also my audio output monitoring had been set to 0 so I couldn’t hear anything 🙃
Can you guess when I went out of focus?
Around 4:05 🤔?
I'm FINALLY about to get a FX6 so I've been binge watching all of your FX6 content again! Thanks for being a great resource, Kofi!
Ayy imma put in the keys and put out more content 🙏🏾

That’s what’s the best part! One of my clients specifically asked for speedy set up so I’m happy
I was debating on what bag to get, but when I see a recommendatiom from Kofi, I go for it!
Haha I’ll take the W thanks !
Right video at the right time. Thanks dude!

The 5 is huge I feel you ahah
Solid video man. Enjoyed the different direction you went with this one. 💯💯
Couldn’t afford a nomatic anyways 😂
@@KofiYeboah 😂😂 I’ve been rocking the same bag for 3 years. It was time to invest.
Some of the larger ones might be my choice. Thanks for sharing.
I think Theresa few more that are bigger !
Very helpful, thanks. Gave me the idea of using my AO Coolers bag for this purpose!
Bo problem !

I actually love it ! I feel like when I’m walking with it and filming, cameras likely out of the bag , but it’s definitely not light 😅
What type of Tripod is that you're using?
I like that and need one would you mind sharing what kind it is
I’ll put the link in my bio!
Very nice video! I just love watching it! What is the small tripod for your Zoom recorder? Happy New year!
I’ll put the link in the description for ya!
@@KofiYeboah Thank you, very much appreciated! Best wishes from Berlin!

This bag went on sale at B&H last month for only $130! Love mine.

I actually haven’t used a shape bag despite them being Canadian unfortunately 😅
dose anyone know if i can put my Mackbook pro 16 inch in the side pocket instead of the 13 inch?
Fantastic video
Thanks a lot !
Nice bag I use the Tenba Cineluxe 24
I’ve heard of that one !!
Dope bag
Thanks for the great breakdown. Can the bag be flattened for travel? I'd like to transport in a Pelican and then use it at my travel destination.
I think if you take the middle parts out but the cop end might be difficult
@@KofiYeboah Thanks for the follow up :)
I definitely just bought this bag after this 😂
Ayyy what are you puttin in it 👀
@@KofiYeboah my red komodo rig. It's a pretty similar size dimension to your fx6 rig.

Wow thank you for this! You are very good at this, your channel will be huge! BTW your IG & Twitter links need updated on your About page.
Good lookin out I JUST changed handles yesterday
👍👍👍👍👍
Subbed! Would the sachtler bag - 1 work for a rigged out fx3?
It should ! It’s a Lowe profile than the fx6 with the handle so should work okay

I’d go bigger ! Unless you’re okay taking the battery out for more room!

you don't use CFExpress type A?
