    Hey the value of resistor is 220 ohm according to the colour code not 22 ohm

    Thank you for documenting this! Two questions tough:
    For the second layer of wire (0:50) and the isolated wires connected to all ends (2:15) you didn’t specify the gauge (awg). Any chance you remember what you used or what you recommend me use?
    Also, do the same components work with a 14.8V batterie or do I need a different resistor for that voltage?

    Вряд ли здесь полные 40 киловольт... так как сложно оценить расстояние на котором пробивается воздух, но проект супер, честно жду на 100 кВ))))

    सर जी आप ऐसा प्रोजेक्ट तयार करे
    जिस से electrician भाईयो की हेल्प हो सके
    जब हम दीवार पर ड्रिल करते हैं तो सोचना पड़ता हैं की जहाँ हमने ड्रिल करनी हैं दीवार पर कहीं वहा कोई बिजली या पानी का पाइप लाईन तो नहीं। बस इस गलती से बच जाये।

    The circuit is very nice, but high voltage supply 12v will kill it, so we can't make a fish shocker

    40 kV? don't make me laugh, the air dielectric strength is about 3000V / mm. You get close to fire the arc
    and after that you just have an electric arc that you can stretch, you can see for example
    an arc welding.🤣

      Same, looks like 4kv, there was not enough turns on the secondary windings, 300 turns secondary, 12 turns primary is only 1 to 25 ratio times 3.5 volts makes 87.5 volts, now I've done the maths, I smell a rat

      No, I just burnt my finger on a simple low power circuit, power triacs get hot very quick
