So incredibly beautiful! You give your creation with so much passion, pride, & love! It shows. We are proud to have your works in our hearts Sangah! Thank you. You’re a fabulous teacher & motivator for me. 👏👏👏❤️😊
This was beautiful. For those that don't fully understand the meaning of the song, it's written from the point of view of a man who had lost one son in war and his only surviving son was leaving to go into battle and was most likely not going to survive.
I was always told that this was from a mother's POV. Having been a soldier for 23 years and been sent to war three times, I can tell you that it is far more likely that my dear sainted mother had these sentiments as opposed to my father. Remember, no matter how long a man may live he will always be her boy to his mother. Oh, BTW, my mother was an Ulster Scot. Major Daniel R. Morris US Army Retired
Sangah, your level of focus on your music remains impressive. When you set your mind to give full attention to a song, nothing stands in your way of doing just that. Was it just me, or are you feeling a little "caged-in" lately? Always remember... "Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the LORD your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you.” Deuteronomy 31:6
You are a master of your craft, Sangah. You take an ages old melody like this and refashion it to extract even more emotion from it than anyone had done before. Your a world class pianist, but it's your uncanny ability to expose a song's full potential that is your greatest gift. You are an artist in the truest sense of the word!
Sangah, I hope you realize how much we all love and appreciate what you do. You remind us that there are still some good things in this world (and good people). .....not to mention, one of my favorite songs. Thank you very much.
Beautiful. As I've commented before, this was one of my Dad's favorite songs and he used to sing it while driving (in Ireland where I grew up). Most appropriately, today June 10th would have been my parents' (both now passed) 67th wedding anniversary so this was a beautiful surprise in my notifications today - thank you Sangah ❤️
It is some how amazing how some songs never loose their magic …. not even over generations. Almost 110 years old and still a hit if you will. Thank you so much!
Dear Ms. Noona, As a trumpet player, I have always played this song in the key of Bb (my key of C). I was playing along with you here where you are playing in the key of C (my key of D). The song, at least on the trumpet sounds so much better in this key as opposed to down a step. Something of a revelation to me how different a song can sound when transposed. Thank you.
Thank you for sharing Sangah, i tryely love you music. And you sound like like a very warm person, with a lot of love and understanding. And that i really know where it come from. The Lord is our shaper, we shall not want He lead us too many wonderful places, and direct us to not be afraid. There is nothing like the word of God Sangah. Please keep up the good works. God love us all, amen???
One of my Mom's favorite songs! thanks for this rendition Noona... reminds me of those good old days with my Mommy singing this while cooking. love you!
Hi Sangah, sorry for my absence, I'm in mourning, my father passed away a month ago, and it hasn't been easy to miss him ... so today I came here on your channel to rejoice a little, with this wonderful energy I give your heart on the piano keys ... a good day, and gratitude for your music! Beautiful Bubuji! Loved it!
I'm sorry for your loss. I lost someone very dear to me in March. Sangah music and live streams helped me to deal with it. There are many of her fans that were very supportive to me when I needed it.
@@rayswick4707 Gratitude! And I'm sorry for your loss too! I have been following Sangah for over 3 years, when her channel was tiny, the energy she transmits in her music is divine, I love what she does!
Oh, Danny boy, the pipes, the pipes are calling From glen to glen, and down the mountain side. The summer's gone, and all the roses falling, It's you, it's you must go and I must bide. But come ye back when summer's in the meadow, Or when the valley's hushed and white with snow, It's I'll be here in sunshine or in shadow, Oh, Danny boy, oh Danny boy, I love you so! But when ye come, and all the flowers are dying, If I am dead, as dead I well may be, You'll come and find the place where I am lying, And kneel and say an Ave there for me. And I shall hear, though soft you tread above me, And all my grave will warmer, sweeter be, For you will bend and tell me that you love me, And I shall sleep in peace until you come to me!
The way you press the keys is an art to itself, Sangah! As a guitar player, I am always amazed at a good piano/ keys player. I wish I could do that too!
Noona...so beautifully played! Love the recording set too! My late mother’s very favorite song. Thanks for sharing the sheet music, which I will download and play for my Dad. Mahalo and Aloha from Kaua’i.
beautiful song and it has special meaning for me. not just because my name is Danny. you play so beautifully. magical fingers on the key board. love you please continue to share your amazing talent with us.
Magnificent music and superb interpretation. I often heard this piece on the harp. However, the piano gives it another dimension with your beautiful musical arrangements. Have a good day. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
It is so simple playing one chord then another then another. That compailation of chords and simple sounds is a favorite around the world. You just brought it up a notch or two. I have to compare this song to a mathmatic equation like Einstein's E=MC2. It is simple and precise. But in its simplicity one can discover the secrets of the universe. It is profound simplicity. DANNY BOY is simple and precise and beautiful. But I rarely see a man that it doesnt bring to tears. That is profound. I thank you. I enjoy you so much. David Fryer
