    Good tip he made on smoothing.
    When you stroke to smooth, you actually smear it smooth rather than rounding/flattening it.
    When you tap, it rounds much nicer and avoids hiccups like crossing geometry and getting weird bumps, triangle glitches, etc

    • @Farrukh3D
      @Farrukh3D  6 месяцев назад

      Hi, Thank you very much for your feedback. For the nostrils, you can try checking if in the multires modifier all subdivision levels are atleast 3. Then apply it. The details can disappear during remesh modifier as well, you can use a more lower value to keep most details. Hopefully it will work.

      Thank you for your feedback! Most of the shortcuts are already visible on the lower left side of the screen and anyone with some knowledge of blender will be able to atleast understand the workflow. Maybe a bigger shortcut font or some text notes alongside can be added for beginners next time. Speed can be lower but then becomes quite a long tutorial which will be slow for others. It is not as easy as it looks to prepare learning content that fits all. Wait for my training course.

    One of the best sculpting tutorial! But i have question about switching parts of object. I know that you can also untake Lock object mode and switch object parts with alt left click. I think that with alt q it is more convenient but i want to know what is the difference between these keys?

    • @Farrukh3D
      @Farrukh3D  7 месяцев назад +1

      Thank you very much for your comment. I prefer Alt+q and have lock mode on. For Lock mode, it is used to restrict switching of mode when selecting different objects. For example selecting a bone in pose mode and instead clicking some other object that might lead to switch to object mode. I usually keep lock mode on.

      Hi, Try a new clean scene with a simple cube. Load a subdivision modifier (3 levels) on it (not only add, apply it as well) or add a multires modifier. Switch to sculpt mode and test. Make sure the brush strength is not too low (Right-click). Select Grab brush (G) and move faces. It should work hopefully.

    • @Farrukh3D
      @Farrukh3D  Год назад

      Check if you have applied the subdivision modifier. Apply it if it is showing modifier list. Low resolution mask is usually due to less polygons. Then add a multi-res with 2-3 levels. Then see if masking improves. Hopefully will work.

    Why in 2:34 we must apply SCALE? Why is this function so important and what does it do?

    • @Farrukh3D
      @Farrukh3D  11 месяцев назад

      Hi, the reason to apply scale is needed because blender sculpting brushes will produce incorrect results. This action resets the scale property. Applying scale in blender is needed whenever we change the size of object. Otherwise modifiers like bevel, displacement or sculpting may look not right. Sometimes we can skip as well but better to use it.

      @Farrukh3D  Год назад

      Thank you! I understand that problem. If blender is slow, use a remesh value like 0.5 or 1.0. Results will not be very smooth but performance will be better. Add a multires modifier after that with 1 subdivision. Detailed sculpting is generally heavy on performance.

      Check if you have a multires modifier with 2 - 3 levels subdivision. Then switch to sculpt mode. Alt m to clear any mask. Better to test in a new file to see if your settings are working and reset. Start with the Grab brush (G)

      Thank you! Check if the head part is active. Press Alt+Q over the head. Then try sculpting. The object that needs to be sculpted should be active. If it does not works, exit the sculpt mode and try again. Make sure to clear all masks (alt+m). Hopefully, it should work.

    근데 sculpt mode에서 mask 그릴 때 영상처럼 smooth하게 그려지지 않고 pixel처럼 그려지는데 어떻게 해야될지 모르겠습니다 (ㅠㅠ)

    • @Farrukh3D
      @Farrukh3D  2 года назад +1

      Thank you for your comment! First, for the subdivision modifier click the apply button in it (small arrow (shown at 25 seconds also) then after that add the multires modifier. The mask looks low poly because there is not enough resolution. Mask should look smoother after that I it hope it will work!

    • @Farrukh3D
      @Farrukh3D  Год назад +1

      Hi, please check in the mirror modifier that head is selected as reference to show the other Ear side. Ear will disappear in sculpting because of the mirror modifier. It only hides during sculpting. If you like to see the other ear also then apply the mirror modifier before. In that case, turn on the symmetry option from the top corner during sculpting. Both ears will show.

    For the eyebrow, could you explain why why did you did a 4 level subdivision and then added a multires modifier? Would you be able to get the same effect with just the multires modifier?
    And thanks for making this! This is a fantastic tutorial and the pacing is perfect.

    • @Farrukh3D
      @Farrukh3D  Год назад +2

      Thank you for your comments!
      The reason to use a subdivision modifier before is to add mesh resolution before sculpting. Multi-res is designed to work best when the base mesh already has more faces.
      Otherwise, there is a need to remesh if the base geo is very low like here a cube and you will need to add a high number of levels in multi-res for smooth sculpting
      However, this is just one way I showed here, you can use any other way if it works better.

    • @DDC-kx3uf
      @DDC-kx3uf Год назад +1

      @@Farrukh3D Gotcha, thanks for the reply.
      So then is there a difference between adding a 3 level subdivision modifier followed by a 2 level multires modifier versus just adding a 5 level multires modifier?

    • @Farrukh3D
      @Farrukh3D  Год назад +1

      @@DDC-kx3uf Yes, from my experience the performance will be affected when sculpting details at higher levels in multi-res. Rest depends on the type of model and computer specs. However, this may not be noticeable in simple sculpting tasks.

      @Farrukh3D  11 месяцев назад

      Hi, please first check if you applied the subdivision modifier as shown. Next add a multires modifier with 2-3 levels subdivisions. Increase to 3 if needed. It will create more resolution in the object to sculpt.
