- I just heard of the sad passing of Shawn yesterday. Another Seattle voice gone too soon. I went back and looked through the footage we shot, and dug out a few unreleased videos. Hope you enjoy them. RIP Shawn.

can't stop crying when listening to this song. great Shawn Smith . So happy to have bought Brad in the 90's. When I am a bit down, listening to his songs cheers me up

Last night I heard Shawn for the first time and I found his song Isn't That Right so moving that I was actually sobbing. I know several people who let the Sun set on their hearts and they took their own lives and left their families and their friends completely devastated. Another reason I was sobbing was because I had just read the text that said Shawn had died. As I approach 60, many of my heroes in the music business are now senior citizens or they have already died. It is profound how bad it hurts when a musician you have loved for 40 years passes away. David Crosby comes to mind as an example. I still cannot listen to Delta without crying. His voice is so beautiful it can heal my wounds. My point here is that I am very sad I did not know about Shawn or his music until yesterday and now when I fall in love with his music I will be bummed out I can't go watch him play live. It is like I don't want to miss anyone else. I mean no offense whatsoever, I just want you to know that I am very sorry for your loss. Bandmates are extremely difficult to lose and I know this from personal experience. I also wanted to thank you for posting these songs. The ones I have heard are beautiful and that must not have been easy to do so thank you!

I was fortunate enough to see and talk with Shawn at his performance on 27th April 2015 Manchester England, my son David gave me his signed hand written poster of Some Never Come Home; of which i cherish.

The grieving I'm experiencing with Shawn's passing is gonna stick around for a while. 1992 is when I first heard his voice. Was hooked right away. All the concerts and all the times I talked to him, he always was very humble and welcoming. SOAR on my friend....Much love and appreciation for everything...

I also wanted to mention if you or someone you know is having thoughts of hurting themselves or something worse please ask someone for help. There is no shame whatsoever in asking for help. If you can't find anyone to talk to in critical times then as a last resort call me if you have to. Do not even think about doing anything stupid or destructive. I will talk to you and try to help. More people love you and care about you than you will probably ever know. Need proof? Think about it, you didn't know I cared until you read this just now so trust me on this! Good luck, Luv ya all!

So bummed. I was listening to BRAD Interiors this weekend not knowing of Shawn’s passing. His music was very dear to me in the 90’s.such a talent . I hope more people discover his music
