Thank you very much!! This is exactly the kind of Turkey travel guide that i was looking for!!! You're the best ❤ i would appreciate if u can give us more details about the booking, links, and how to get to these places. Thanks!!
Thanks so much - glad it was useful! You can find my recommended tours, links, and other details here in my blog post - www.illumelation.com/blog/turkiye/best-things-to-do-in-dalaman-mugla/
Gorgeous! But please include the travel distance bc for example Fethiye is about two hours from Dalaman and the beach is another forty five minutes from the bus terminal. Much appreciated. I’d like to see more of Dalaman unless it’s not worth seeing.
Thanks for your feedback Patricia! I’ve included travel distance on my other videos, but didn’t include travel times in this instance because I didn’t want to assume where people might be staying as the Mugla region is vast. Appreciate your comment!
hey! thanks for the q - I took a private van shuttle because I was in a group excursion for most of the time, and took taxis/Uber a couple of times! yes - I'd always recommend you book online in advance - have put the excursion links here: www.illumelation.com/blog/turkiye/best-things-to-do-in-dalaman-mugla/ xx
Hey, we are leaving for Turkey at the beginning of June, would you say it would be good for us to go? Are there any other good places in Turkey you would recommend for the first time going there? Great video! Your voice is so relaxing :)
Hey! Thank you so much for the compliment :) Beginning of June sounds perfect, it'll be blazing hot and it's just the start of summer season so it won't be super busy with crowds like it is during July and August. If you're planning to spend a while in Turkey then I'd recommend a couple of days in former capital Istanbul, which is full of culture and history and gorgeous architecture, and then Cappadocia, which is like a fairytale city (known for its hot air balloons). Those are a super different vibe to Dalaman and the Mugla region though - so it depends what sort of holiday you're after!
@@onurkansu Thank you so much for correcting me in such a kind way. I still have my Empire hat on! I will edit my comment accordingly. I hold so much respect for your country - thanks again for informing me :)
I agree with @phrenful - but for more detail you can see approximate tour prices on my original blog post: bit.ly/dalaman-turkey-highlights. Hope this helps!
Hey! The restaurants I've mentioned in this video are Sardunya Restaurant in Selimiye (overlooking the water) and the riverside restaurants in Akyaka. Hope that helps - have a great trip :)
Apparently April is still considered spring, so crowds will be lower but the weather may be a bit chilly with average highs of 19°C (66°F). You might see some rain, including potential thunderstorms. But the later you go in April the likelier you are to have hotter weather and escape the summer crowds so that’s always a plus :)

Thank you for sharing such a positive message about Dalaman! Your house sounds wonderful and I hope your family have a brilliant time living there this year.
Haha, not quite, but definitely a few hundreds. The excursions recommended here were sponsored by the tourism board. If you head to this blog post I’ve included the costs of each activity: www.illumelation.com/blog/2018/one-week-dalaman-turkey-guide
Good Video in General but please talk more sensitive about historic events The ghost village mentioned became such after greeks became independent from Turks. After that the new built greek goverment signed a treaty to exchange the populations in Turkey. Not cause of the will to "depopulate the Christians" like you mentioned.
I really appreciate your comment, and especially from my ignorance in this video have learned that I need to set more context and sensitivity-check my content in future. Thank you for taking time to share this feedback with me so politely.
Beautiful, but one thing, The Western powers & Greece invaded Turkey, the Muslims & People of Turkish origin were deported from Greece and Turkey did the same.

Beyond epic! This was one of my favourite trips for sure 🤘🏽
I would recommend visiting saklikent gorge. I was wowed by the natural beauty of it.
Sounds amazing, I’ll look it up!
Yesssss! A must! Keep in mind it’s extremely slippery, I slipped and fell, hurt my knee an hour away from the exit. Took me a long time to walk out.
Job well done, very good video ❤❤

I found it very dirty, Albania and Greece are far better in my humble opinion
