Your video is the most informative, efficiently done, beautifully done and the most helpful of anything I've seen on Fethiye. You literally changed my mind from Fethiye being a short visit to rearranging our itinerary to spend some real time here. Wow! So much to see here. The history in Turkiye is mind boggling.
Thank you for your kind comment! We too were amazed by Fethiye's beauty, as what we had seen online prior to visiting didn't do it justice! Glad our video swayed you enough to amend your itinerary - you won't regret it! If you're in the area, we highly suggest paying Kas a visit!
This is fantastic! I'm staying with my friend in Fetihye from 11th May for a week. I now know what to expect and can roughly pick out what is what. Great guide thank you! It looks stunning!
Great video and commentary. I will be using this as a guide for when we go in July. Some of the scenery looks stunning. Very interesting place by the looks of it. Cheers
Thank you Bob, glad you enjoyed it and found it useful. It's a great place and we were so surprised at how beautiful this region of Turkey was. Everywhere we went completely blew us away. We've got a couple of articles on our website if you fancy some bedtime reading: worldtraveltoucan.com/?s=turkey :)
Thank you Keith. It's hard to make such a stunning place look just as good on video, so we hope we did it justice! Northern Cyprus is on our list, we went to Paphos 2 years ago, but would love to explore the northern part - stay tuned :)
Thank you so much for watching, and glad our video inspired you to book a holiday to Fethiye. We use Fujifilm xt4 as our main camera, a go pro hero 5 and Google pixel 8 for our secondary cameras 😊
All in all a great video, if I may offer a little constructive feedback: Add in some personal touches of your own expenses and some light laughter, this will make it sound less like a script and you're enjoying reliving the time there. It would sound more as if you were talking to a friend. Thank you for sharing your opinions and thoughts on this amazing place.😀
Hey Cynthia! You're very welcome! We can only really comment on Help Beach in Fethiye as that's the only one we visited. Soft drinks were around £2/£3, beers around £5, cocktails around £10. Food prices varied, we have a delicious chicken pesto pasta for around £12 (and the portion size was huge) It's very affordable considering what you get! Hope this helps and have a great time!
@@ToucanTravellers I found that Help beach was quite expensive compared to other restaurants in Fethiye I would personally recommend Moziac (a more expensive restaurant) and El Camino (a cheaper but still nice restaurant) El Camino is a bit out of town but has a very nice sunset view but be sure to book a table in advance to get one with a good view of the marina
That's great to hear! It's called Help Beach Club, but it actually closed down and got renovated recently. The new beach club is called SO Beach - reviews on Google are mixed, but take a look as you might like it! :)
Thanks Hannah! We went the third week of June last year and the weather was SCORCHING! Temperatures were around 28-30 degrees Celsius every day. The nights were also quite dry and humid, but that didn't stop us! :)
Thanks for a great video guys , we’re off there this year , I want to take my drone (mavicair2S) I live in the uk , did you have any issues getting it there , did you have to register it before you went ?
Hi there! Glad you enjoyed the video :) We have the same drone as you and had no problems flying it in Turkey, and we didn't need to register it. They're pretty flexible when it comes to drone laws, but be sure to check online beforehand, just to be sure: uavcoach.com/drone-laws-in-turkey/#:~:text=General%20Rules%20for%20Flying%20a%20Drone%20in%20Turkey&text=All%20drone%20pilots%20who%20wish,to%20all%20commercial%20drone%20flights.
@@ToucanTravellers thanks for that looks tricky Taking a Drone Through Customs in Turkey Foreign nationality citizens cannot register as a drone pilot in Turkey. Moreover, your drone will be seized by customs unless you have received technical confirmation for your UAVs from the Turkish DGCA.🤷♂
Hi there, it's Help Beach Club. However, it's saying on google that it's permenantly closed. Sea Me Beach is another beach club to check out instead :)
We went at the end of June - so a similar time when you go this year :) a word of warning - it's extremely hot, so we recommend doing most of your sightseeing in the morning as it got a bit too hot in the afternoon!
Hi Ali, we rented a car in Turkey and drove to most of the places mentioned in the video. We also walked to some attractions too, depending on how far they were. You could also catch the local bus, walk or grab a taxi.
@@Endoplazmik-retikulum i went 2 weeks ago. Loved the place. Beautiful scenery, nice people. Had a blast. The quads are sooo underratedd. But got ripped off big time by the turkish delights guy. Paid 30 bucks over for 2kg of turkish delights. Had no idea how much they go for. Paraglider was rude as hell too. My wifes paraglider was super nice tho. No other bad experiences. Would definitely recommend olidunez to anyone and everyone.
Excellently done. We are in Fethiye right now. This video is amazing, very informative and concise.
Great little film, just the right length and you guys made it very interesting. Makes us want to go.
Thank you very much Peter 😊 we definitely recommend visiting this side of Turkey!
