I feel just like you. I’ve been to 17 countries, but only a few of the States. I’m looking forward to getting a van and traveling the USA with my family. I love these 4x4 Econoline vans.

Interesting rig. I have a feeling it will continue to evolve a bit, but remain fundamentally what it is. Not quite for me, as I have a completely rebuilt old Ford diesel F350, and a 30 foot cargo trailer I'm converting, but the thing is, everything that irks me about my rig, his rig takes care of. I also think he might return the sentiment. Plenty of room, and INSTANT setup (park, walk into trailer, done), are good perks.

It's cool to have a four-wheel drive rig with some of the Comforts of home and he has some fun impressive expensive add-ons and I'm sure he really enjoys his setup this is great but I'm not impressed with the amenities and certainly not the ventilation options- especially for all the money that he probably spent!

Terry B That’s pretty common for one night stops in an overland vehicle. It’s annoying (at the least) to tuck in all the pop top material.
@@LiftOperator52 So how long of a stay does it have to be before you pop-up?
Terry B I don’t have a pop up for the tucking in reasons and possible mold. I opted for a short Skoolie instead.

I like the sports mobile conversions but holy shit are they over priced.
Prices range from $150k-$180k. I’m sure they’re super well built but sub contracting the work and doing some of it yourself would save you $50k + on a build like this. Still love the van though
