I’m southeast asian, never left the region. Even I knew what it was upon hearing that the tightly locked trunk had Hebrew letters.
So yes, upon realizing he was about to open it, me: he ain’t merely screwed, he about to have a preview of what hell is like while he’s alive.

Thank you for this comment. If there was no animal death warning by the narrator (which honestly more of them need to include), as soon as I hear there's an animal introduced, I immediately stopped the video and scroll comments.
If I don't find any, I don't gamble it, I opt out of the video at once.
We're definitely expecting the human gore and horror, or else we wouldn't be clicking on these stories, but those of us with compassion for animals _hate_ getting blindsided by mutilations and gore on them.
If we wanted to hear sick animal gore (and tbh it's a troubling thing to a person if they do), it would be in our search parameters.
If you want a channel that screens its stories beforehand and puts in warnings by the narrator, Darkness Prevails is an excellent on.

I know it's just a story, but this reminds me of the real dybbuk box that was actually put on Ebay in the early 2000s, the story made it on Paranormal Witness later on..the lesson here: leave it alone😮

@@residentidiot9694 Just like that movie skeleton key. She didn't believe in the evil and thought her unbelief would save her in the end. Still ended up getting possessed. Just because you don't believe in something you don't see doesn't mean you can't be harmed or helped by it.
The point is to make the protagonist a skeptic who is unlikely to accept the supernatural origins of the events of the story when they begin happening. It’s a plot device, nothing more. Stephen King has done the same thing repeatedly (such as in Room 1408).
