- Hi! As the game is finally officially available, I've decided to share my own experience from the game from beginning to End.
I did absolutely everything from the game, recorded all the important stuff. If you don't want to get spoiled althought it's from a game that already existed, don't go on the internet.
I hope you appreciate my videos content, not an easy task to do but I'm here now.

honestly people can badmouth this game as much as they want but they can never deny the fact that PLA has probably innovated too much both in gameplay and in story and the last time this happened was at the time of the BW and BW2
It's a step in an innovative direction, which I think is what was needed in the franchise.
I wonder if the Battle Mechanics here could be incorporated in future games...
I heard there are no Natures / IVs / EV, right?
I wonder if, going forward, in Pokemon Games, there were...
- No Natures (just like Gens 1 and 2), so no +10% or -10% to any stat.
- IV (0-31, like in Gen 3 onwards) + ability to max out all EVs for every stat (like in Gen I and II).
- Presence of Styles - Strong Style, Agile Style... and perhaps a 3rd - Guard Style, to boost defense / weaken dmg from an incoming attack...
- Ability to use Z-Moves / Mega Evolution / Dynamax + G-Max
I wonder how that would change the metagame as it exists currently.
Could it make more pokemon usable and make sweeping a bit more difficult?
And, I also like how they did battles this time around - freeroaming as a player and pokemon position (only wish that the pokes would be scaled a little bit better.)
I must confess that I gave sour eyes to this game, but frankly, it's innovative.
We've got:
- A prequel(?) to the Sinnoh Story. A first in the series.
- Ability to fight Pokemon - both the trainer (new) and with their pokemon
- Finally having a certain someone* using what amounts to an 8-on-6 fight. (You'd be surprised how many villains play fair in the pokemon franchise)
- A generation releasing both a new region and new pokemon outside of the main gen (Gen 8's Sword and Shield)
Could things be improved? Yes, for sure!
But, it's something.
We can't beckon for change if nostalgia keeps being the driver to selling games.
And the music is a total banger as well like in gen 5 lol

Stealth rock and spikes are attacked now
They’re attacking moves now because they were competitive hazards before but now they’re kinda useless since there’s minimal battling in this game
To elaborate, gamefreak seems to have taken the new combat system more "seriously" than we expected, so they reworked a lot of things (like moves, status, buffs, etc).
In this case, entry hazards no longer exist, instead they are attack moves that deal damage at the end of each turn (imagine the kanto gigamax moves, though not as powerful)

Game finally admits that people die in Pokémon. I mean, start of the game, your rival flat out says they might just leave you out to die, if you’re not worthy of joining them. I was like “wtf?”
Death has always been a thing in pokemon. Cubone's mother was flat out killed by team rocket, Mr. Fuji tells you this. Or the guy that died in a car accident in SM/USUM.
But I getcha. Its finally good to see that gamefreak really emphasizes these kinds of morbidness in legends of arceus
There's some dialogue about a guy and his machamp getting in a car accident you have to listen to to get fling in sun and moon
@@Anginitkapetayo There is off screen death, and some debatable death moments in Pokemon, like Cubone for as you mention, as well as some weird ghost stuff.
But first they've EVER truly out right say "You're gonna die", not something like "So and so lost someone special cause of this".
Theres been suicide in the anime when lysandre jumps off of prism tower after losing to ash and alain
Death is always mentioned in Pokémon.
Good on Gamefreak to finally have the courage to prove it is there.
This is the most fun I've truly had playing a pokemon game since Black & White/B2W2
I just noticed Kamado’s theme is basically an ancient version of the Sinnoh Gym leader and Elite 4 theme with a few changes.
If you also hear closely, some part of Unovas Gym Leader theme is there

Also Kamado’s armor looks like Wikstrom’s armor from Pokémon X&Y (Wikstrom being the Steel type elite 4 member in Gen6)
Funny Enough this was so nostalgic it's like black and white all over again
The people hate it because it's different but in the end this is the innovation that we all needed .
We love the innovation of the game but we just can't stand that this game, released in 2022, nearly five years after Zelda BotW, looks like a gamecube game or an early Wii game at best with a technical execution that is literally garbage similar to Sword and Shield.
@@cannabishornliu6119 but then you realize they're finally moving there ass again after so long of pathetic garbage series atleast now they're doing something that actually improves their game like what they did to B/W series and if people continue to backsass this progress will have to FUCKING wait so many years before they're motivated to Upgrade Pokémon in general.

I’m still a bit surprised he never used a Samurott with the samurai type armor theme kinda deal going on.
The new one is a dark type and Kamado isn’t really that dark

Because the only Oshawott in the entire of Hisui is the one that Laventon brought with him and he was literally against Kamado's ideas.
@@notnamed. There's not part in the Pokédex where it says that were multiple Typhlosion, only about them being changed because of the mystic energy in Hisui.
That is the most realistic pokeball throw in Pokémon to date I think
Volo's throw is also pretty realistic

It’s also heavily implied that it takes place in the same universe as Platinum. There are ancestors of Platinum only characters, both Palkia and Dialga are known about and an interaction with the professor after catching a specific legendary.

They are not the exact characters since they have different official names then the main protagonists of the Gen 4 games.
I wish they would have given the player a choice of how to handle the reinstatement. I get the Commander ONLY acted the way he did for his people. But, suspending your character, and essentially exiling your character, OUCH! The townsfolk are all COLD towards your character. It’s like, "Yeah. Uh, I will complete my work on the Pokédex, and I will find a way to travel back to my time, so I can move on from this dark hour.
Don't forget.
You are an Outsider.
Of course people will be very suspicious of you.
The re edition of the Gym Leader music is superb

when he banished me, i felt such betrayal that this battle was not only prove to him but also show him what he did to you was wrong.
At 3:45, I partially expect to have a lightsaber, and be able to ignite the blade, just to tell the Commander a non-verbal "Hope you’re happy!" sort of thing.
Fun Fact: Kamado’s “Traditional Galarian” armour is actually a darker version of Wikstrom of the Kalos’s Elite Four’s armour.
It's kinda ironic for the player to work with the ancestor of Team Galactic

Honestly yup. Especially if you headcanon that Dawn/Lucas from BDSP or Platinum in the modern day is the ancestor of the PC of this game.
@@Kageravager Interesting. It just had me thinking that the P.C.'s ending sort of mirrors that of InuYasha, where the P.C. carves out a new life in the distant past (becoming his/her own ancestor in the process) and goes on to form a life-partnership with his/her opposite-gender counterpart.
He's not really an antagonist. He just got blinded by rage and fear. That got solved in a single battle. The true antagonist is Volo.
But it wasent volo who banished a 15 year old to go and die in the wilds

First of all magnificent game ( I mean palkia does an aqua tail animation) but did they change the standard turn based combat or is it just the NPC? Because after a Pokemon was sent out, it immediately attacked or healed. I don't mind I'm just intrigued

This new mechanic and the battle animation... OMG, no one can deny that Game Freak did an amazing job. If I had the money I would buy this game, it's totally worth it!!! incrível!

This is a massive improvement but that didn't say much because Sword and Shield are laughable games in terms of "High quality animations".
It's still nearly as good as other similar games like Monster Hunter Stories or Dragonquest...

Well, he did try to solve the problem himself by basically waging war with God. so that seems to suggest an idea that if he beats you to solving the problem, he could promote your exile to permanent.

I havent played the game yet, but before you leave I hope the game lets you decide on what party and items you want to head out with, as you wont be able to come back and switch your team up using the pastures or storage afterwards do to banishment.
I absolutely loved it when they did this in Mystery Dungeon Blue Rescue Team
Fuck these health draining moves. I just had to find a video to complain about them on because Gardevoir, Galade and that goddamn Cleffable are the only reasons why Beni and Kamado are even hard. Just a cheap move to give the opponent an easy advantage.
The only draining move Pokémon I have dies the fastest every time I fight Kamado.

It's the same as Wikstroms and it's confirmed to be from Galar. Which makes sense since it's more Knightly than anything

Funny story there; Nobunaga was a person who existed in the world of Pokemon, he appeared in Pokemon Conquest. His partner Pokemon was a shiny Rayquaza.

I dropped the game since launch bc of the boring gameplay and boring start but boy I was wrong. I just stuck with it. I’d say once you get Ursa mount the game gets better and better and by the end I was loving it. Holy cow a Pokémon game where I’m actually getting wiped by the trainers? Fighting the commander was so nerve wracking, I hadn’t felt that difficulty since I was a little kid

It’s a fan favorite Pokémon plus the sinnoh dex has few fire types and the type distribution of thr sinooh Pokémon makes fire and fighting types really useful

No. Type:Null is a manmade pokemon the mask controls its powers it will only evolve to Silvally if it has high friendship removing the mask of Type:Null. So it cannot be Samurott since Type:Null is manmade
He means that some samurott body is chopped up and use for silvally creation

I guess Wikstrom is also related to Rowan. That or Kalos has good connections with Sinnoh.

Bit late. But you can control the camera freely and walk around in battles. I guess he just decided not to move it

What has really changed in this game cause to me it still lacks emotions and Battle animations is still the same the world is empty can see there will be no reply ability in this game just a flashy story with some flashy tricks but that's my opinion
