    It’s amazing that the P1, 918 and La Ferrari are all 10 years old. 10 Years later we’re about to see the new generation of Hypercars and all three from different brands with the Valkyrie, AMG One and Jesko.
    But yet there’s another new Hypercar trio in a class we didn’t have 10 years ago with the Nevera, Battista and Evija again 3 other brands.
    It would be good to hear your thoughts on these subjects.

    • @Sharpshooter111
      @Sharpshooter111 Год назад +16

      Idk if I agree with these choices. A do agree there will be a holy trinity and an electric holy trinity, but I don’t think the electric is here yet, right now every electric hypercar uses rimacs batteries, not enough differences to make it a holy trinity. I think the holy trinity will be 3 track monsters with F1 tech like valkryie, amg one, and something else, or the first 3 cars to actually reach 300mph

    • @jryalls
      @jryalls Год назад +11

      @@Sharpshooter111 The Evija doesn’t use Rimac batteries, it uses smaller more efficient batteries. It’s also much lighter than both the Rimac and the Pininfarina as it uses two high power density E-motors splits the power to 4 electric motors. Although I agree that the Nevera and Battista are pretty much the same car.

    • @norwegiantechnolover
      @norwegiantechnolover Год назад +2

      Seems like Ferrari, Porsche and McLaren are working on successors for the "holy trinity". McLaren confirms a 2024 date, Ferrari is going to make something based on their recently unveiled 499P LMH hypercar and Porsche has teased the 917 Living Legend for years already.

    Modern McLarens would do my head in, I think (I prefer older Ferraris). How can anyone consistently use that speed on tight windy roads? You're midway through 3rd and you're backing off. They lose traction at will due to the masses of torque, so more or less a death trap in anything other than very dry conditions. I can't understand why anyone would pay *that* much more for road cars that are really only usable on tracks? 500bhp is really the magic number for lighter road cars. Being able to fully wring out a car through higher revs *is* the joy and these cars are really the antithesis of that.

    The P1 is 150kg heavier but it still has a better power to weight by about 7% over the 765LT. P1 has more torque than the 765 too, 900nm vs 800nm, over 10 percent.

      I was also hoping to see them drive together and find out if one can keep up with the other. Instead I'm forced to subscribe to some newsletter. I hope they change that.

    I think a better way to compare a new super car vs the holy trinity hyper cars is look at the Nurburgring time of the 918 and then the GT2 RS and you will have your answer

    P1 is one of the most unusual and brilliant car designs in history.
    Had to choose?.....Would take one second to say P1.

    I think the Rimac Nevera would change your mind about the Electric hyper car future. Wait till Ferrari bring out their fully electric Supercar/hypercar...

      From what I can see electric vehicles is what I consider the great homogeneity. ICE bring with them a complex array of cultural touchstones - sounds, looks, feel and smell. Every electric car, from now to whenever will be quiet and sound pretty much exactly the same. That's a bleak future, especially if you like to write and talk about cars.

    Electric cars will never be as fun or as characterful as a gas burner. I dont care what the 0-60 is or how fast it is around the nurburgring.
