It’s amazing that the P1, 918 and La Ferrari are all 10 years old. 10 Years later we’re about to see the new generation of Hypercars and all three from different brands with the Valkyrie, AMG One and Jesko. But yet there’s another new Hypercar trio in a class we didn’t have 10 years ago with the Nevera, Battista and Evija again 3 other brands. It would be good to hear your thoughts on these subjects.
Idk if I agree with these choices. A do agree there will be a holy trinity and an electric holy trinity, but I don’t think the electric is here yet, right now every electric hypercar uses rimacs batteries, not enough differences to make it a holy trinity. I think the holy trinity will be 3 track monsters with F1 tech like valkryie, amg one, and something else, or the first 3 cars to actually reach 300mph
@@Sharpshooter111 The Evija doesn’t use Rimac batteries, it uses smaller more efficient batteries. It’s also much lighter than both the Rimac and the Pininfarina as it uses two high power density E-motors splits the power to 4 electric motors. Seems like Ferrari, Porsche and McLaren are working on successors for the "holy trinity". McLaren confirms a 2024 date, Ferrari is going to make something based on their recently unveiled 499P LMH hypercar and Porsche has teased the 917 Living Legend for years already.

But if it came down to it id take the 720LT
Modern McLarens would do my head in, I think (I prefer older Ferraris). How can anyone consistently use that speed on tight windy roads? You're midway through 3rd and you're backing off. They lose traction at will due to the masses of torque, so more or less a death trap in anything other than very dry conditions. I can't understand why anyone would pay *that* much more for road cars that are really only usable on tracks? 500bhp is really the magic number for lighter road cars. Being able to fully wring out a car through higher revs *is* the joy and these cars are really the antithesis of that.

I like them both but I'll take the P1, just for the fact it looks timeless , sensual and sleek , kinda sexy where the 765LT looks like a weapon. Also the P1's turbo v8 sounds exotic and musical compared to the flat plane crank v8 in the LT.....Still , both are legendary machines.Well done Maclaren......Good video also.
The 765LT looks so mean in the front.. like a Alien 👽 its head lights remind me of a grey alien lol.. it's so bad ass... but I wish the 765Lt had the electric motor and the wing of the P1 if they would have done that ... the 765Lt would be on a completely different planet..
Having been passenger in both + a 720s, the main difference you will find is the comfort compared to the P1. P1 is a track car only, you could cruise in a 720s and not realise how powerful it is.
