I love your Bronco. You did it up very nicely. I am very happy for you. I had a 1986 Bronco when I was single but had to get rid of it when I bought a house. Now that I am more establish in life I have been looking for another one but good ones are getting hard to find. If I am lucky enough to get another I will not be getting rid of it ever.
Thanks James, that was my thought too. I had a 90 when I was a kid and loved it and regretted selling it. So I figured if I found one in good shape I'd grab it up and make it awesome! Good luck in your search!
Yeah I knew my limits and I heard the same thing about it being trouble, so I had them professionally installed and it's been a couple years so far and it's been working fine and it is the HID bulbs
Evan Hepburn thank you! I wanted to update but not go too far off stock looking. It's 37" Mickey Thompson tires and 17 inch Walker Evans rims. Those rim design had just came out not long before I ordered them and they really look cool. It's a 6in lift on the truck and I put two Inch spacers that really made it feel more stable in a turn. It also helped on the front tires on the turning radius but I still needed these aftermarket bumpers from Iron bull to have the clearance when turning because with the stock bumper they rubbed
How did you like the line-x in the floorboard? Did it do much for sound dampening? I’m trying to decide between that or lizard skin. Mine is gutted currently and it’s deafening on the interstate.
Bob Steiner the Line-X is durable and I do like that is easy to clean but it doesn't keep the sound muffled as much as the carpet did but I'm okay with that. Sometimes I just turn the music up louder! Haha
I was really looking to improve sound quality within the cab. I was told they could layer the line-x extra thick and it would give it more sound dampening. There are so many holes in the floorboard currently that a coating is bound to improve it. Trying to decide on a combination of lizard skin and line-x or not. Thanks for the quick reply. I'm sure i'll have a few more questions as my restoration continues.
Bob Steiner no problem man if it's anything I can do or give suggestions I'll try to answer as soon as possible. They may be able to put thicker Line-X and it would help but I can't see how it would be any more soundproofing than the padding and the carpet, but as I said I don't mind hearing mine a little more without the carpet
OVO J Yes! And thank you. They had the factory cloth in it but I had Leather put in and with the Line-X Berliner being black on the floors, I had them make the inserts of the seats be black also.
Gregg Lange no motor work, factory 351 but had dual Flowmaster 40's exhaust put on. I used a skyjacker 6" lift kit but no body lift. 37" tires might make it appear lifted more thou.
beautiful truck Warren everything looks perfect! I have a 1996 5.0 and want to start working on mine. I want to go with the rough country 6'' lift and would love to throw some 37's on there. so did you do anything else beside the lift kit? any rubbing or did you have to do any mods so they fit or wont rub? also when you purchased the lift kit did you have to use brake line extensions ? I hope you reply lol thanks !
luis rios I got Skyjacker Lift Kit and it is a 6 inch lift kit there was no line extensions needed for just a 6-inch Lift. I believe you would need that on anything higher than a 6-inch Lift. The biggest issue I had with 37 inch tires was it did rub on the factory front bumper but these aftermarket bumpers I have now gave me more clearance. I also put 2 Inch spacers on the tires and I've got to tell you it made the truck feel more stable but that is a personal feel that I got. I hope this helps. And thanks for the compliment on the truck. I am really pleased how it came out and was glad to share it with everyone on RUclips
Warren Pratt thanks for the quick reply you just helped me out with a huge dilemma! I’ll post some vids hopefully soon. Thanks again and Happy thanksgiving!
Warren Pratt hello again so I finally pulled the trigger and ordered wheels and 35” tires . I’m having trouble finding wheel spacers I can only find spacers with a 1/2” stud size. Can you recommend the ones you used ? And how are they holding up? Thanks again Warren.
dillon forsythe I didn't have any problem with them through the ordering or the delivery process. I may have just been lucky but I agree with you I like the look of their bumper better than the other options out there
it looks great, I saw you said you did some custom work on the grill, was that with the stock grill or did you get something and modify it after you bought it? Also, did you have to buy any new body parts? I have a bronco and some of the side panels are rusted and im looking to get new ones and dont know where to find any. Thanks for the help.
dillon forsythe it was the stock grill and I use a Dremel tool to cut out the majority of the center and I bought are you sure of wire mesh on eBay that I like cut it out to fit from the back side and used button head bolts to hold it in place with wide nut from the back. The body on this truck when I got it had no rough issues whatsoever amazingly. But I do see online where Tom's Bronco parts they have replacement sheet metal for you I would check there and CJ Pony parts and maybe even lmctruck.com. and thanks for the compliment I really appreciate it I'm very proud of how it turned out myself but I might be biased! Haha
juvaholics I made the grill with the stock one and mesh I purchased on eBay. the tailgate I had the entire floor inside done with spray in bedliner and ask the guys to spray that part of the tailgate also since it's prone to scratches and dents
Love the attention to detail, no shortcuts and it sounds healthy as hell, did you build that grill ? I’ve been trying to hunt one down but haven’t had any luck
No I don't. I just love Broncos and this one wasn't taken off road before I got it, being it was a fire chief's ride and it had no damage or rust so I want to preserve this one and keep it a clean ride as long as possible.
CaptaiinJackson I have the receipts but I haven't added them all up yet, sorta afraid too! But the truck I bought for about $4500 and Is say I put another 16k-18k with parts, service, etc.
No, I have too much tied up into the build to make it the way I envisioned it. I'd rather enjoy it and put it in shows rather than take a loss. Thanks thou
Fred Bennett I don't plan on getting rid of it. I purposely looked for one of the last year models and ran across this 95 and I bought it because it was in such good shape and never really used the four-wheel drive. It was in the fire department in Warrior Alabama most of it's life and used as a backup vehicle that's it most of the time it only have about 85,000 miles on this truck. The reason I fix this one up if because I had my first Bronco right out of high school and I regretted selling it years ago so this one is going to stay with me! Thanks
Warren hello, - that's a beautiful job on your Bronco ,it looks amazing ! - what brand is that door step/nerf bar ? Also, where did you find the white gauges - that's a very sharp look !
Mike Toal thanks, I really had fun upgrading this Bronco into what it is. The need bars I found online that was still made for this Bronco. It's N-fab F8056B-TX wheel to wheel. The white gauges are ones I found on EBay, I purchased the faces and it had LED built into it. I've had others tell me they can't find them anywhere anymore, so I'm not sure about that.

Dayum!! That thing is a beast!
Haha!! Thank you! I love the way it came out.....I was going for Stout!
How do like those headlights? I’ve heard they are pain to adjust the high and low beam... And did you put a HID bulb in there?
Yeah I knew my limits and I heard the same thing about it being trouble, so I had them professionally installed and it's been a couple years so far and it's been working fine and it is the HID bulbs
😘 very very nice 👍👌
This is hands down the sharpest looking bronco build i've ever seen! what size rims and tires you got underneath her? Also lift?
Evan Hepburn thank you! I wanted to update but not go too far off stock looking. It's 37" Mickey Thompson tires and 17 inch Walker Evans rims. Did you reupholster the seats as well? I like how they look
OVO J Yes! And thank you. They had the factory cloth in it but I had Leather put in and with the Line-X Berliner being black on the floors, I had them make the inserts of the seats be black also.
Warren Pratt .. You, sir, have done an amazing job making it look the way it does. Beautiful truck 👍
OVO J Thank you! I greatly appreciate that.
Front and rear bumper brand ? Beautiful build btw
Sam thank you, I appreciate the compliment! both bumpers came from Iron bull. search online for iron bull bumpers I believe they are from Arizona.
Warren Pratt Thankyou sir !
Love the Bronco!! Have to start on mine here what suspension and motor work have you done? Where did you find the the 2inch body lift as well?
Gregg Lange no motor work, factory 351 but had dual Flowmaster 40's exhaust put on. I used a skyjacker 6" lift kit but no body lift. 37" tires might make it appear lifted more thou.
Wow Truck!!! 👏👏👏👏👏
ariel moser thanks!! I really love the way it came out myself!! ☺

Hey! Nice truck.
How was your buying experience with Iron Bull bumpers? I have heard lots of bad things but I think they look great.
dillon forsythe I didn't have any problem with them through the ordering or the delivery process. I may have just been lucky but I agree with you I like the look of their bumper better than the other options out there

pepsi leonardo it's the stock grill I cut out and customized myself

Thanks Josh, I did build the grill with the factory stock one and just cut out the center leaving the bottom center one for the small light bar.
Perfect
Noel Ybarra thanks!
How much you smoke? Give it up. Nice Bronco
👍 😎
Do you take it off road with it?
No I don't. I just love Broncos and this one wasn't taken off road before I got it, being it was a fire chief's ride and it had no damage or rust so I want to preserve this one and keep it a clean ride as long as possible.
