Interesting to see two of my friends (who I did not know knew each other) having this wonderful conversation. Selena taught many of my children in Sunday School way back when and she has been serving the Lord there faithfully with her gifts for many many years. Blessings on both of you

Seleda is describing justification and sanctification in her life. God works His saving grace in each believer's life individually. As Denise said, God sees our hearts. There are so many denominations of Christianity and each one imposes their rules, often unbiblical rules, on their members to control them under the guise of 'unity in Christ'. However, there is only one church; the church of Jesus Christ which has all believers from all-time as members. Each member has a personal relationship with God. God is their friend and saviour who is present beside them and in them all the time. It is a living relationship in which God constantly works to bring us ever closer to being 'as Christ'.

Thank you Jane for your comment. I too found it interesting to note Seleda's journey from saving faith (justification) to God's ongoing refining work in her life (sanctification). Sanctification is a lifelong process for all believers.
