  • This is the first half of a two-part video, where we head off into the mountains ,to reopen the road that has been blocked by fires, snow ,landslides, and flooding, all along it ,and at the top of it ,are spots were stage coaches stopped and rested and watered in the shade and camped over the night. at the top is a very old winery and remnants of farm and stage stop itself . I don't want to spoil the surprise of the second half ,but ,let's just say that this is one of the craziest treasure hunts that you have ever seen on the Quest for Details ! there has been a lag in the release of this video for reasons that will become a parent in the second half ,as I wanted to give myself plenty of time to return a few times and make sure that I had explored the site thoroughly .I hope that you enjoy the Details that we have found this time on the Quest ! thank you for joining me !

I love it when you metal detect or sift through these old dump sites! There is just some of the neatest stuff in those! I love the green glass plate or platter piece you pulled out in the beginning! Very cool! And the old hutch style bottle with the old metal stopper! And the marbles are always really neat. I can't wait for part two! So exciting! You guys are all off to great starts! ❤ Thanks Nate❣️

Awesome place, I love a good trash dig! You found some really neat stuff in pt1 and I'm really looking forward to pt2! This looks like a really good spot worth using a sifter also. I bet there is more little treasures hiding in whats cast aside. Good times!

Those white milk glass jars are really neat to pour beeswax in for a candle and tie a twine or something around the neck for decor.....Oh my I could dig there for hours, days without stopping, my favorite pass time is digging in old dumps.....You are Blessed to have that place, dig and let the world go by, lol

Oh so cool! what a beautiful area! I believe those shallow ponds are something called "Vernal Pools" which are an incredibly amazing ecosystem by themselves based on seasonal drying and filling!
