Dude, buy a kayak and get the nicest one you can afford that you can load and carry by yourself. I did it 2 1/2 years ago and I am still so glad I did. Rich here was my direct inspiration for doing it.

Hey Rich did you know that gafftopsail catfish are mouthbreeders? They hold on to the newborn catfish in their mouths until they reach about 4 inches or so....

Have you tried the push pin trick with your power and transducer cables on you electronics when you are connecting them?
One of the best things about saltwater fishing is the variety of fish you catch. Those juvenile jewfish are fun on light tackle too!
