Did find it is easy to release the boot lid by accident though when fumbling with the ignition key (pressing the boot release button on the fob). I wish you great happiness with your beautiful car. @@xamythefairyx In my heart I would have one, but my heart also has a place for a shiny new MG4 (more room, more power, a proper boot). I am a 6ft hairy man and I love the 500 (only have it for one more week) and will be so sorry to see it go. Am planning my finances for that MG4 EV in a bright orange colour. Whenever I see a 500 go by, I will remember fondly the funkiest, coolest car I have ever driven . And so easy to park! 500's rule, and I'd love to have a go in an EV version. I wish you happiness again.

I wish people in America would appreciate this car as much as those in the uk. Owning an abarth I got a 500 for a daily and absolutely love it!! Even American women would rather have a boring civic than a 500. Sad shame the 500 hasn’t caught on in America
Colin Chapman the founder of Lotus. He required that the shifter should never be further away from the steering wheel than your hand. With your fingers spread. The tips of your little finger and thumb, should be pretty close to each. I cant speak to all Fiats. My 2013 North American Abarth 500 has a little speed indication in the basic gauge cluster. Its in the same place that mileage (or is it Kilometoreage?😂) is located on your gauges. You may need to set it in the menu. I don't understand the seat complaints either. Im 6'1" and my seating is fine. We have height adjustment. People must be missing the adjuster handle in Europe/UK.
@@xamythefairyx no worries! Lovely car by the way, not seen one in black before. Mine is the greeny blue colour 'verde azzuro'. Only got it a week or so ago and loving it so far. Apart from the larger screen on yours it's surprising how similar they look inside and out.
Hi Amy, thank you for the video. I've just bought one of these in Epic Blue. Does it have cruise control? I think it does but have never used one before so I did wonder if you would mention that and how to do it!
Hi Mollie, how exciting. Yes it does have cruise control, I use it constantly, it’s a bit weird to get used to at first but it’s so easy once you get used it. Lower stick on the left hand side of the steering wheel. Switch it to CC and then you just turn it upwards when ever you get to a speed you want to stay at.
@@Sara986 no problem, I just leave it set to cruise control all the time, because I use it so frequently. So all I have to do is turn the top part when I want to activate it.
I agree, but I have seen people ask on other Fiat Videos how tall the person showing their car is and get loads of people saying to me aren’t you a bit tall for that car? So I thought I would just mention it.

I think the headlight button you pointed to is actually for the front and rear foglights? At least that's what it's for on my 65 plate 500.
Yes you are correct, I saw someone in a different video say they were the headlights and copied them…didn’t realise until it was too late lol

The car is brand new (2022 plate) and it has 3 passenger seats for your friends/family and every seat has a seat belt.
