- Savi’s Workshop was a fun experience at Galaxy’s Edge, and yet the Lightsaber built there was rather disappointing and sub-par compared to what we can achieve with today's tech.
So we have developed a complete kit to fully upgrade Savi’s Workshop Lightsabers.
Make it more realistic with better sound, smoother gestures and brighter blade, while still retaining the cool RFID Kyber Crystal change feature!

Bruh I looked up upgrades when I got my Savi lightsaber a year ago and basically nothing unless I bought a 3D printer to reprint the entire inner frame. This is legendary

The new blade looks so much better than the Savi. Is it more durable too?
It’s the same blade material with upgraded internal components (LED Strip). I’d say the upgraded strip is more durable than the cheap original strip, but I wouldn’t duel with any either ☺️
I'd appreciate seeing a walk through of your process. I know you have a tutorial in writing, but I'm more of a visual learner

Does the kit include all the tools needed to do this or are there additional tools needed?
The KIT is composed of electronic compoenents and 3D printed part for teh chassis, but the tools to build it are not included (a soldering iron is needed for instance). You can check the tools required for such DIY project here: goth-3designs.com/tutorials/
If you don't want to do it yourself, an installer can take a commission and do the upgrade for you. This is why we propose also a "send in" service :)
So it's $150 for the kit, then an additional $400 for the service to change it over?
Yes that is correct.
The "send in upgrade service" is a standalone item for the full install job, and doesn't include the DIY kit itself.

I really wanna do it myself but I'm not very handy and the instructions on your website are a little confusing to me.

Does this kit include a blade and how would I put the kit together
The kit includes the components to convert the blade obtained at Savi's Workshop :)

I don’t know what it is with the galaxy’s edge lightsabers that I don’t like, it might be how thick they are or that I just bought a metal duelling lightsaber for less than half the price of these
Savi's Workshop lightsabers have a heavy, aluminum shrouded body around the chassis, which does add to their size...BUT...80% of the Savi's Workshop build is about the experience, and the other 20% is the lightsaber you take home. The Savi lightsaber is like a really neat souvenir by which to remember the experience. There are cooler/better lightsabers available at various price-points. However, the Savi's Workshop *experience* is the real reason to build a lightsaber from the Black Spire Outpost. I've watched recorded vid's uploaded to RUclips of the Savi's Workshop experience, and after having done it at Disney World's Galaxy's Edge, I know that there are some cast members who deliver a better experience than others. There is one gentleman who led my experience, that is THE BEST. He was apparently among the cast of the now-closed Galactic Starcruiser. Being required to make reservations in advance for Savi's Workshop, I don't know how you could reserve one of the sessions led by a specific cast member. Just luck of the draw. Having said all that, though, to be able to upgrade your souvenir to a Neopixel blade, Proffieboard, and 28mm speaker is a huge bonus! Like transforming a refrigerator magnet into a coffee table statement piece.
