I know there are cases where the mom hs no clue. I know there are cases where mom knows and doesn't care, as long as the man stays. I know there are cases where mom is terrified to know or in fear of the pedophile. I've studied this subject my entire life trying to find peace and healing. Every case is different. Every survivor has to find their own path.

Even if we just look at the legal aspect of what happened to you, what the perpetrator did was illegal. No exceptions allowed. Even if you offered yourself voluntarily and offered to pay him in cash and an all-expenses paid vacation to Hawaii, it's still illegal. End of.

@@junebuchholtz287 Well maybe they do that in FL, but Brian K. (Charged with killing 4 college students in Idaho only has 1) and Chad Daybell got the death sentence and didn't even have 1 death penalty certified attorney. I think his attorney will be now, with that experience.
They have an incredible amount of evidence. I don’t think 1 person could do it. Not that I care if 1 could or not because this man is pure evil and deserves NOTHING.

None of this made sense to me previously when I understood it as of Jen saying when Maddie was having anxiety MADDIE would ask for Stephan and Maddie to sleep in another bedroom. BUT I think, when you read that a second time, what Jen is saying is that when JEN needed a good night's sleep because of JEN'S anxiety, she would ask Stephan and Maddie to sleep in another bed ALONE!!!! 😡😡😡 I don't care if I don't sleep a wink all night, I'm not sending my child to sleep alone with a man a separate bed. If Jenn participated in or covered up Maddies death, the state isn't giving Jenn a pass. They haven't charged her because they either cleared her, or don't have evidence to support her participation or guilt.
Hopefully they gather enough evidence soon. Or they could be waiting until she is cleared mentally. Bc the rumor is that she checked herself into a mental health facility.

I don’t know how a mom doesn’t know this is going on for 4 damn years! If I was her I would not be able to live with myself! Absolutely horrific! I would not be able to control myself with that man! I don’t think I could EVER take that case; even as a public defender!
I could take the case as a lawyer, as it would be a good way to stretch my knowledge and experience. He's not getting off, unless of course he can be declared incompetent. In fact that's what I would do if I were his lawyer: try and get him off on that.

I think they mean because they are doing the abuse case first then the murder. That once his on trial for her murder he will have been convicted of a capital crime

@@maryhannah4462my understanding is they're considering the assaults & cp against her as something separate, and also as aggravating circumstances for the murder, qualifying him for the dp. they said if convicted, it'll be treated as priors. my guess is, there's no way he can't be convicted of it. his face was in some of them too 🤢🚮🗑
@briattnybrittany6843 they did not say "if convicted." They said, "prior conviction", meaning a case that has already been adjudicated. You cannot use the word "conviction" in a filing for a case that has yet to be tried. Language is everything in the law.

i broke down after reading some of those docs 😢 in all pics i've seen, she's smiling. even after terrible things were happening to her ... she still continued to smile. her eyes were so dark in her birthday photo, and yet ... she smiled; HEARTBREAKING 💔 she deserved to be cherished, protected, loved, safe, and alive!
It has absolutely not been too long to bring charges against mom. I am sure they are keeping close tabs on her. I am sure they will bring charges. They do not need her evidence against Sterns, and we already know she lied when she said she saw Madeleine getting ready for school.
They may be building a case against Jen depending on Sterns’ outcome.

If she was pregnant, Sterns would be charged for the murder of 2 people. But that is not mentioned in the charges.
@@user-go8ok4ei6c another RUclipsr addressed this (I think maybe Plunder) and in Florida it depends how far along in the pregnancy and whether or not the fetus could survive outside the womb. She said if so, then the perp can be charged with two murders. I don't necessarily agree with this but passing this along.
Jenn said she saw Maddy getting ready in the report and talks over Stearns about what pants Maddie was wearing during the body cam footage. She is adding details in. She gets clearly rattled and nervous when someone says the laptop can be tracked. Makes the excuses as to why maddie doesnt have her phone. She is building narratives. She denies she recognizes anything in the photos but gets upset. She didnt help her family look for Maddie. Even her saying she sends them to sleep in another room is her covering her own tracks. I think she intentionally comes off crazy weird lady to hide her true self. The entire thing feels an act.
GF: One thing that still bothers me is Initial interview at the tax office or whatever it was. When the principal called and Jen answers the call. Oh hey principal, yeah I'm OK. WTF your daughter is missing and you are OK. Seriously! Seriously! That was a red flag for me.
I agree and she supposedly suffers from anxiety, so you would think she would be worse off. On another channel which went over the 900 page police report, one of Maddie's friends remarks it was weird that Jenn wasn't freaking out when Maddy was missing.
As long as the Google docs weren't made public then it's not a federal case. Besides that you don't want him in the federal system they are way more lenient on this stuff than states are, especially red ones. Oh, and that encoding about sending them to another room. You're assuming it's coded. Sounds to me like Jenn was too trusting, ignorant, lazy and flat out stupid in reference to sending maddie off with Sterns to another bed. Supposedly maddie never slept without her mom. My son is ASD and still sleeps with me at 9. Children with ASD are not typically developing and many times quite immature. While I agree maddie should have never been in bed with Sterns, it's not unheard of that she slept with her mom still. Comparing your neuro typical teens to a teen with ASD is nonsensical.

I don’t have a daughter but I do have one son and I am single because I don’t want to risk bringing someone into my child’s life that may harm him. I will be single until he is grown then I will worry about a relationship. He doesn’t have a choice but to live here so I have to keep him safe

I'm not convinced of the mom's guilt. Coercive control. Since Stephen came into Maddie's life when she was young, the grooming probably started subtly, and I'm sure Jen was gaslight. I'm not so quick to jump on a mother who just discovered her was murdered.

In the room ! I think she was drugged ! He was looking up drugs to knock someone out! Sedating Medication, the school said Maddy was always tired. The mother couldn’t be working. She hasn’t mental illness and very paranoid. That people would think that she’s crazy. He could be telling her just don’t say this or don’t say that they’re gonna think that you’ve done something because you’re mental illness suggestion I believe that he has the power of suggestion over, which she thinks second-guesses herself due to the medication she takes! I believe that if she did have a suspicion he would knock it out of her in Reddit document where he replied to a woman that said that she didn’t like her husband sleeping with the daughter because she was sexually abused he answered that and said that’s unfair to do that to your husband. He needs to have the same rights as you when sleeping with the child, it’s his attitude. What’s he saying to her? I think humans get very confused about life, and themselves, and I think we sometimes forget that it is completely possible to feel to very opposing emotions concurrently. So at the very same time you can have hatred in your heart for a person or their actions, but also have grief at their demise. I had to learn this a few times over. In fact, I’d argue that any complex combinations of rational, opposing feelings experienced together, are a signal of emotional intelligence. Probably evidence of self awareness, empathy, and appreciation for nuance.
I'm conflicted also GF. Part of me is thinking death is too easy of an escape, buuuut the other part of me remembers that God is just and there is nothing easy about what is waiting for him on the other side of eternity, unless he TRULY repents of his sins and seeks forgiveness in Jesus Christ.

omg every video you do about this case is exactly the same. Bash the mom as much as possible. I laugh at all these parents that they would know this was happening to your kid. If that were true it would never happen and would not still be happening My mother had absolutely no idea what was happening, until I told her when I was an adult. Jenn Soto is innocent until proven guilty by a court of law not by a bunch of arm chair detectives that think they know, without all the evidence. There has been no indication that they have any intent of charging her with anything and until they do it is irresponsible to just keep pushing this narrative. You choose to use that screen grab of Jenn because it fits your narrative As a survivor of molestation, I would be absolutely even more traumatized to see people making assumptions about my mother, and you know what they say about assumptions, It makes ass out of you.
Gavin works off of the facts! Different cases have presented different perpetrators and he has always made sure to make all of the evidence available so that we can make our own opinions-including Gavin! Yes, a lot of speculation can happen in hindsight in sa cases. We will never really know what a parent thought or didn’t think. Many creators can twist narratives, but GF goes line by line through public records. Thank you for bringing a different perspective; I just think he has every right to stick with what he believes bc it’s his channel.
