My favorite dish at Massis is the Idaho trout. I also usually switch out the shirazi salad for tabouleh instead. They also provide sumac free of charge and it’s a must to liberally sprinkle that stuff on everything! They also have great thick steak fries. Also, always ask for grilled chili peppers. They come out charred a bit and definitely have a hot kick to them but they’re so good with the meat and rice.
Another favorite Armenian chain is Zankou Chicken. Probably has a slight edge over Massis.

We definitely need more Armenian food spots in Los Angeles and Orange County. Speaking only for myself so I might be in the minority, sometimes a brown man gets tired of only close choices being Mexican, Chinese, Pizza and last but not least Fried Chicken. Don’t get me wrong all those choices are delicious. But having to drive to Glendale Ca. Or the west side of Los Angeles is crazy at the moment as gas prices be pretty dear. And honorable mention to Papusas which are also delicious and another close by choice.

Weird, I live in glendale but the first time ive had armenian food was in south pas. Glendale doesnt really have that much variety aside from the armenian joints mostly just generic korean places and mexican chinese and japanese is few and far between. honestly I think that glendale isnt that great for restaurants and that west la beats it out with the variety not to mention LA staples like Musso & Franks being located there. I have a friend who lives in pomona and from his location its mostly just chinese

Tried the icy pop Prime awhile ago. Way too sweet personally and tasted closer to cough medicine more than any popsicle I've ever had. No hate just interesting to see a different perspective.

Im pretty sure that is Persian-Armenian Fusion because the grilled meat is Armenian but the Kebab is Persian, the Grilled Pepper is definetly more Armeniam but the rice looks Persian.
