I cannot get a price of under 500£ and I can believe that’s the case when the part is 140£. Near Sheffield, preferably. I had the exact problem earlier this year, cleaned up the contacts and all good. When I reinstalled the indicator unit however I didn't get full beam. The flash function works but full beam just goes back to the parking lights. Now my MOT is due I'm trying to figure it out, I don't suppose you'd have any ideas of what to check?
clicking fast when using the indicators on the side where the mirror was smashed, was due to missing bulb. On my case it was clicking continuously without having to use the indicators at all

thake is of again, soke it in some brake cleaner, then in some contact cleaner, dry it out and retry
